I am in a summer mango mood! So, when I passed Jamba Juice, I saw they had a drink called Mango Madness. The shop is run by one person. When, I arrived she was in the back cleaning the blender tops. She saw me, she came out, and waited on me right away. The drink was really delicious and had a nice mango flavor. The shop is located in Westfield Montgomery Mall's food court. It was clean and well organized. I am glad that I was able to get a drink that was on the healthier side. I will say that $7.85 for a medium was on the higher side. But, I would definitely go back for more. read more

This location is inside the mall off Democracy Blvd. It was our second visit. The first visit they were out of carrots so we couldn't get carrot juice. This time they came through. I'm not sure what the problem was for the girl with the ponytail that was closing on 7/29/25 but she was a raging b**** for absolutely no reason. First I placed my order on the app, then I went to pick it up and I was waiting at the counter, I said I was picking up an order and she said "what??", then I repeated myself and then she shoved my smoothie in my hand. She also forgot my ginger shot and had an attitude going back to get it for me. I said have a nice evening and she rolled her eyes at me. Like, iono wtf her problem was but that was completely uncalled for. If she doesn't wanna work, why is she even employed there. I'm honestly FURIOUS and I will be speaking to a manager asap because this interaction really pissed me off. It's bad enough we all have to work in this hot ass mall, the least she could do is keep her raggedy attitude in check. If I never had to come this place again I wouldn't. This Jamba Juice location is inside of Montgomery Mall at the food court across from Chick-fil-A. I have visited this location numerous times, how busy it can get depends on the time and day. On a weekday, lunch time can get hectic while on a weekend it seems to be hectic in the morning and afternoon. I always order the Matcha Green Tea Blast Smoothie which comes with Soymilk (Contains Soy), Nonfat Frozen Yogurt (Contains Milk), Ice and Matcha Green Tea. During peak times, Jamba Juice seems to be understaffed. There should be more staff available, especially on the weekends in the morning and afternoon. The staff were filling orders as best as they could, but wait times can get lengthy. Aside from this, the quality of this Jamba Juice is comparable to other locations. I will continue visiting anytime I am in the area, but will likely avoid the weekends unless I have the time to wait -_- read more

Would give no stars if at all possible. As it is, this might be my first one star review, as typically I feel any business where I've had a bad experience is either (1) just having a bad day or one employee who's just off his/her game or (2) businesses that are trying to do better should get at least two stars. Then ... there's this place: Jamba Juice at the food court in Westfields Mall in Bethesda. I've been here three times in the past 6 months or so. Have been unimpressed and actually appalled each time, and tonight was the tipping point. Each time, the staff are interminably and deliberately slow. I'm not talking just slow to someone who's impatient - I'm talking as in how on earth is it okay to wait up to 30 mins to get a smoothie at a fast food place when it's not busy? Or for a cashier to take 10-15 mins per transaction? And an equally long time to make the smoothie? Interactions are like talking to a bad caricature of a sullen teenager who doesn't give a rat's ass about you and has a million other places they'd rather be. Luckily, each time I wasn't in a rush, but nevertheless, was left with a bad impression. The smoothies are fine (when you finally get it) but expensive. Tonight, went to pick up dinner at the mall. Was feeling like having a smoothie as well, so went to stand (3rd) in line at Jamba ... where oddly enough the lights were off, and the second staffer was mostly hiding in back while the cashier seemed to be struggling (or refusing?) to ring up the customers at the front of the line. Eight minutes later, still no progress. Meanwhile there are now two customers behind me. Meanwhile, Random Guy walks up to counter ... second staffer comes out from the back (finally) - ah! It's her boyfriend or friend or whomever ... so the two of them flirt while the cashier STILL is doing ... what? Doing what? ... with the customers at the front of the line ... she's leaning all over the register, looking bored and annoyed. Boyfriend wanders off so second staffer retreats into the back again. After waiting 20 minutes and still standing 3rd in line, I had it. Left the mall and drove to Joe and the Juice in Wildwood Center and got a delicious smoothie made with fresh fruit in record time, and had a delightful experience interacting with an articulate and friendly employee. Whoever owns or is running this Jamba Juice location, be aware when you're not there, your staff are irresponsible, lazy, and losing your customers. Other days where the food court is open, I've walked by and - just like tonight - the lights are off or half off and employees are hiding in the back so it looks like the store is closed. First time going to this place to try a blended drink. Ordered the Lotta Horchata blended coffee. Took over 10 minutes to get the drink when I was the second person in line. The issue was that there was only one person ringing up the register to take orders and also to make the drinks. Shouldn't there be at least 2 people working??? Tasted the drink and it was OK. I asked for both mango/passionfruit juice with watermelon juice and only got the watermelon from what the receipt says. Pretty G, Jamba Juice. I make smoothies frequently, so it's going to take a lot to get my nod of approval. And you got it. Jamba's smoothies have a nice consistency. They travel well, too. There are several "categories" of smoothies offered, which is interesting. Not sure I completely believe all of it--a bit of a marketing hook. Counter staff can handle a large crowd of customers effectively and calmly. And they accommodate requests pleasantly. I find that the pricing is somewhat high, but the ingredients are good quality. I thought everyone knew about the Jamba Juice Secret Menu? Or is it just me? I'd been FEENIN' for a JJ near me since my college days. We were spoiled with a JJ right in our Student Union, and you bet I went there every day for my fix. So of course I came right away when I found out that it opened in one of my favorite places in the world - the mall. I was hesitant to ask about the secret menu since I knew they had just opened up. Of course the nubby register girl was like, "We don't have a secret menu." Continued to look puzzled and bewildered. Looked to her manager behind her, "Do we have a secret menu?" Damn straight you have a secret menu girl. The boss was like, "Why don't you flip through this booklet right next to you?" They were all in there (: Score. Got two Strawberry Shortcakes. Damn were they delicious. Reminded me of all those sunny days, where we'd lay out or play volleyball or throw a football around on the Quad with a JJ in our hands. MM. Oh Jamba Juice! I'm glad to see that you've returned to the DC area! It makes my trips here somewhat more bearable! This location, inside The Mall at Montgomerie's Luxury Courts of Food, is pretty small and typical of a Jamba Juice you'd see in an airport--like Charlotte Douglas. The staff are semi-lukewarm in terms of friendliness but they make up for it speed and accuracy. Be sure to try a street waffle with your smoothie. It pairs well with the Matcha Green Tea Blast or The Orange Dream. One downside to Jamba Juice--they use sherbet in many smoothies which tips the processed simple sugar scale! read more

Wow. Every time I come here the customer service is AWFUL. I'm a regular at the store in Rockville and they are so awesome there. I just asked Kelly what happened to the point system and how I get my points and she shrugged her shoulders and said "I donno." Not to mention her attitude is absolutely horrible. Please if you're going to hire such young employees be sure that they know how to interact as adults. I understand people have bad days. But every time I come here all the employees are the same. I'm sorry to the Smoothie King fans but Jamba does smoothies right. Since it's a new location, I expected kinks but I found none. Both of the smoothies I ordered were perfect. The nice young man who took my order was super sweet and ordered everything up correctly, even though the mall was a tad bit loud. The guy blending my smoothie goodness got the proportions totally awesome. And before I knew it, I was on my way out and on my way to the first of many brain freezes. Good heavens, I heart Jamba Juice! When I was an undergrad at AU, we had a Jamba on campus that accepted our meal plan swipes and it was the greatest thing ever. They've since closed it so having one closeby in Montgomery Mall is simply fantastic. In general, I'm not a picky eater... but I hate bananas. With a passion. And unfortunately, a lot of the original smoothie flavors have bananas. Thankfully, the staff here didn't hate me for asking them to omit the bananas. In fact they were super friendly about it and instead of just complying to my request, they offered alternate fruit suggestions that would still fit the flavor profile of the smoothie. Jamba Juice ftw! I grew up with Robeks and Smoothie Kings, but once I had Jamba Juice for the first time in Dupont Circle and later this Jamba Juice location, I haven't gone back to those inferior smoothie joints. What I love about Jamba Juice is that they add no sugars or sweeteners to their smoothies. It's all fruit and everything is natural. The flavor you taste in your smoothie is from the fruit and not from any added sugars. That's a smoothie and now I don't want anything less than wholesome fruit. I usually order either a Caribbean Passion or Mango-A-Go-Go when I go to Jamba Juice; both are winners in my opinion. Honestly, most of their smoothies look good. I don't know of any smoothie at Jamba Juice that people hate with a passion. You can also get boosts, like antioxidant, energy, or Vitamin C, added to your smoothie for 25 cents a boost. Jamba Juice is like that girl in High School who you think is your friend but is really spreading rumors and being nasty behind your back. Everything about the way it is marketed screams "healthy!". It's probably the biggest conspiracy of the 21st century. I love their smoothies, especially the banana and peanut butter one. I like that you can add shots of immune booster, caffeine, etc for a small fee. What I don't like is the calories. I have to imagine that business suffered tremendously when they were forced to post the caloric information on the menu board. I had ordered fruit smoothies for years, blissfully unaware that they contain approximately a billion calories. I thought I was being healthy. I mean, there's a picture of a banana AND kale next to it on the menu. KALE. I don't even know who I can trust anymore. The staff here are hit or miss and it is moderately clean. They don't fill up the cups all the way anymore I've noticed. Other than that it's just like every other Jamba Juice. This place is fine in moderation or as a meal replacement. While I have just recently learned about Jamba Juice's secret menu by reading Jueli L.'s review, I will admit that I am a Jamba Juice Junkie and am currently looking for a 12-step program to help me. If you know of one, please send all referrals and recommendations my way! Aloha Pineapple, Mango-a-go-go, and Peach Pleasure are my go-to's. I have yet to stray from these 3 because they never do me wrong. They are filling, and for someone who is always on the go, when I can't sit down to eat a real meal, I always swing by Montgomery Mall to pick one of these up. On occasion, I have asked them to make 2 small sizes of these and alternate them in a larger cup, for a Swirly Smoothie creation of my very own and they have obliged! As far as the staff goes, they are always cheerful and helpful. Sometimes distracted by the long line of customers but always efficient and very clean. I love the cleanliness of this location - especially because I pay even more attention to a mall location that is smaller and more rushed. If you're looking for a delicious treat and have a schedule that doesn't always allow you to eat a proper meal, then definitely stop by this spot! I'll no longer order anything from this place. The management not only frequently changes but their current manager is rude. 1) For acai bowl sometimes they do not have bowl, so they serve acai bowl in a cup. How is that appropriate to serve? 2) The counter most of the time is not clean. They keep dirty counters seems for hours and become dry stains and ignore if you asked them to clean. It become unpleasant experience. 3) Sometimes they do not have all toppings but still want to sell you acai bowl. How is this appropriate? 4) Sometimes, nobody is available to place the order with. Overall, very rude and unfriendly manager and his staff has a lack of customer service training. This business/manager should be replaced. The worst customer service ever. I came and ordered an Aloha Pineapple smoothie. I am a huge Jamba Juice lover and have been going there since I lived in California. Jamba Juice is harder to find in the DMV area, so I usually get something when I'm in the area. I gave them a gift card to pay, and the two cashiers did not know how to put it in. The woman cashier kept trying to tell me I only had 1 cent left on the card. This was only the second time I had used the $25 gift card, and I knew that was not true. I tried to explain that to them, but the woman cashier's tone was accusatory and rude. She told me the only thing she could do for me was call her manager. I was in a hurry and asked how long it would take for her to get there because I had to go and wanted to get my gift card back and leave. She told me it would only take a minute and that her manager was somewhere else in the mall. I waited while they rung up other customers and finally the manager showed up. The manager was able to put my order in and use my gift card in 5 seconds. The only thing was, the manager gave me the silent treatment the whole time and when she was done, left to go in the back. Not once did she apologize to me or make friendly conversation. Did not speak to me at all. The male cashier was the only one who told me he was sorry for the wait. The lady cashier then made me my drink and just slammed it on the counter when it was done. No sorry, nothing. I will definitely be complaining to Jamba Juice. read more
