Today was FREE cheesy flatbread with any order of Jamba Juice day which slipped my mind until the cashier offered the delicious deal. "No thanks," I say. "It's freeeee." she insists. Why not? I love coming to this jamba juice because the staff is always so friendly! They always greet you w enthusiasm and it doesn't get too busy here which is good. I tried the strawberry tart scone and it was pretty good, they get a batch everyday an once it runs out that's it for the day. I always get the green tea one. My cousin got the 5 fruit smoothies and that was pretty good. The place is small, they have seating outside and inside a little counter. We did a crossword there, while we had our smoothies. 1.) I saw my survey coupon print out. They discarded it and only gave me receipt only. I asked for that survey receipt and they said it wasn't one. I have a couple of them. I look for them always. This place is dirty. If they have a manager at this location, that person should go back and be trained. Workers looked messy. One guy even had his finger in the smoothie but just closed the top and handed to a customer. Customers, if you come here, stop playing with your phone and watch how they make your smoothies. Hurts my heart to have to say this in 2020 but this location is racist!!!! My husband, who is latino, was racially profiled when he went to order some drinks. There was a white person in front of him and a white behind him when he ordered. Guess who got their drinks before him? Yep, you guessed right, the WHITE people got their drinks first AND those drinks were handed to them IN THEIR HANDS but my husband had to wait and when his drinks were ready they left them on the table to avoid any contact!!! I went to this Jamba Juice this morning. Due to the pandemic they asked for us to wait outside and they would bring out our drinks when they were ready. There was a customer behind me who ordered and his drinks were promptly brought out. I didn't think too much of it since I ordered a drink and a food item. During my 20 minute wait, I see multiple customers order items and their drinks are with them as they walk out. I ask about my items and the barista asks me my name (they did it ask my name when ordering my drink) and promptly finds my items. The issue here is that I was told to wait outside with an infant, which I obliged - I get it there's a whole pandemic outside, but the lack of follow thru on their customer service shows me a lot. ESP with the climate we are living in. Be more aware of how you treat your patrons. Two stars because I still liked my drink! read more

i found this location on yelp and strategically planned to come here before an appt in the blossom hill area. i was running a bit short on time, but knew that i'd probably have enough time to pick up a quick breakfast wrap, gobble it down, and head to my appt. upon walking in, i didn't see any wraps in the display case, nor did i see them listed on the menu overhead. upon inquiring about the breakfast wraps, i was told that this location does not carry any since they are an independently owned location. i also noticed that they didn't have a few other items that most other jamba locations offer. in need of something filling with protein, i picked the mango peach bowl, which i knew included greek yogurt. i requested this made without the soy milk since i'm not a big fan of this ingredient. the cashier wasn't sure if this could be done and asked the manager on site. he, too, had to think for a few moments before telling me that they'd have to substitute another ingredient in order to complete the mango peach bowl. i asked why, since i understood my selection to be yogurt + granola + fruit + coconut flakes...why would they even need the soy milk? apparently, part of this item had to be blended together and without the soy milk, the consistency would not be correct and the fruit and yogurt portion might be lumpy. i said that lumps did not bother me, could they pls proceed without the soy milk? they said that they'd need to add some extra greek yogurt in order to complete the order, and i said sure, go ahead. i paid for my order, over $5 for this yogurt + granola + fruit bowl, and waited to the side while they prepared my food. i felt like i waited a long time for what i thought was a pretty simple order, but when the order was ready, i saw that it looked pretty good, no lumps (to calm their fears, not that it mattered to me since i'm gonna eat it anyway). i ate my mango peach bowl pretty quickly and while all the key ingredients were there, i did feel that as a whole, this item was very sweet. greek yogurt + granola + peaches + mangoes + coconut flakes should not be that sweet, so there must have been something else added in the mix. oh well...at least i got my protein and was satisfied before heading out to my appt where i wouldn't be able to eat for a couple of hours. the fact that they didn't have any hot breakfast wraps combined with the difficulties in processing my order are reasons why i give this location such a low rating. coming into jamba juice should be a quick, painless trip, not something that feels more like an ordeal or dreaded household chore. read more

The line is long (I don't blame the store for that, they have a popular product), but I eventually get to order. I order the mega mango and step to the side. While waiting for my drink, I notice that all the employees seem young, like maybe they all just graduate from high school. Then I see them all joking around each other. Fine, it's a long day, Sunday afternoon, I understand. Then they call my name. "Khanh, mango a-go-go" "Actually, I ordered a mega mango" "Well, it's almost the same thing*" Ok, so I can't remember EXACTLY what the guy said, but it was something to this effect. "I ordered mega mango for my wife, she's pregnant" "Well, I don't think mangos cause birth defects" OK, right then there was that screeching halt noise. FIRST, I'm sure your four years of high school science makes you qualified to determine what does and does not cause birth defects. *That's sarcasm in case I don't make myself clear. No offense, but I will not take any scientific opinion from anyone that asks me if I want a free boost in my smoothie. SECOND, even if my wife wasn't pregnant, I ordered a mega mango. You see jamba juice employee (I really wish I read his name), you have this thing called a menu. Your "customers" order items off of your "menu" so you guys make "money." Since there are different things on your menu, your customers expect you to make what they order. What a freakin concept. So, if I wanted a mango a-go-go, I would have ordered a mango a-go-go. THIRD, don't give me an annnoyed look after I POLITELY state that I ordered a mega mango. Seriously, I know how it is, but I never give people shit, especially if they're making me food. Therefore, I don't expect any back. FOURTH, the dude gives that drink that he accidently made to the next customer, even though she didn't want it. I guess that's fine. But hey, you could have given it to me too since hey, I was waiting 5-10 minutes for the drink anyway and now I have to wait another 5. FIFTH, you're snotty little, 'here you go Khanh" really, really just pissed me off more. No apology, no upsizing my drink, nothing. Normally I don't get pissed like this, but I think it had to do with the fact that a) the guy never apologized and b) he was annoyed at ME. At about 9:30pm my girlfriend and I had a craving for Jamba Juice, but I was skeptical that any was open at the time. WRONG! This place was open late on a SUNDAY and was only 15 minutes away from our house. Hell yeahhh!!! Time to get our BOGO on. Arrived there at about 9:45ish and was welcomed in by the three employees working. They all seem like friendly people. We asked the cashier, Tin, to choose our drinks. He asked what my gf and I wanted for our base. I chose mango and she chose raspberry. Tin rang us up and said to his co-workers in a cool fashion "I got this one guys" and proceeded to make the drinks. Last night we got a random craving for Jamba and literally ran out of the house to make it here by 10 pm (normally I'd go to the location closer to my place, but it closed at 9:30). We got in the store ten minutes before closing and the employees still took the time to help us instead of rushing to close. Like always, I asked them to choose a drink for me. Tin (I think was his name) asked us to pick a fruit, and then instead of selecting a drink from the menu personally made us smoothies based on our selections. It was pretty rad that he actually took the effort to make the drinks instead of just selecting whatever was easiest on the menu. Mine was raspberry, my boyfriend picked mango. Mental health. If my life were college, I'd be majoring in job application with minors in Psychology, Zen Buddhism and entrepreneur-ism. That's what I'm doing anyways, doing the first and trying to read more about and live my life practicing the others. I have an addiction to the web I'm trying to shake or at least get down to a small daily session to "check things" and not get caught in the pointless battles on message boards. I am working on reading books in the mornings, since reading at night isn't so productive, REM kicks in and I pass out in one chapter. Yet I still have insomnia from broken sleep. Hm. I can't plan any "social/ entertainment" money (the internet is my only one basically), but when I do I like to maximize my, uh, investment. Yeah, I have to think like that, all about money. Jamba juice is one of the national chains that gets it right. I think of the "American meal" of the 70's-2010's and it makes me shudder now: a factory farm anti-bacteria laced mad cow e-coli burger; a High Fructose, sugar filled diabetic creating soda and fries; oh, the fries have high salt and have sugar added to them so they can brown in the fryer based on corn oil (see government subsidies). Studies scientific and not have been done about leaving a side of Mcfries out for years without decomposition. Ever find one in pristine condition cleaning out the back of your car? Give me a large Jamba instead of a combo meal. Jamba juice does most of the work for us. Nutritionists have realized studying China that a vegetable/ grain based diet is what keeps their people the longest living people on average in the world, with low diabetic rates, low disease rates, lower blood pressure, etc. (also Forks Over Knives movie). I admit I'm not a vegetarian, but I have weaned off at least 75%+ of the meat I had years ago and I do have more vegetarian meals. It was easy when I realized I had ate a lot of fruits vegetables anyways, I just cut back the meaty entree part of it, until it's like having bits of meat in a stir fry, pasta or soup. that's as close to vegetarian as I can get. Jamba uses a lot of "freshly frozen" fruits, but they're organic or at least natural, which in the store does NOT mean the same as organic! They do have a steady rotation, you know nothing has been sitting in back storage untouched since the last time you ordered it. They have smoothies and, well check their menu online at their link. I have had most varieties of their smoothies, green teas, breakfast oat meals, probiotics and some of their baked goods. I try not to have a favorite, I mix it up a bit. But anything with bananas, strawberries and oranges together I favor. They're cool about changing an item or 2, as long as you don't rewrite the whole menu. I have used them as a cold remedy or prevention and a hangover cure before, although with the hangover, you have to endure the blenders whirring. I do admit, sometimes, it's too sweet for me, so I have thinned it out with some water after a few sips. I can't stomach a Big gulp like I used to in high school. But for the most part, sweetness was the issue. I've only had one that was bitter and strawberries wild is a little too... acidic? for my tastes. The people there are friendly for the most part. You do have to confirm your order, make sure they get your name right (people misspell my slave name, so I don't use it unless I have to show ID somewhere). I do admit the blender noise is grating to me, just like those coffee grinders in certain bookstore chains. Well, I guess there's only one major book retailer now. A few times I admit, I dumped some hooch in there to make a powerful tropical drink. But sugar is terrible for a hangover, that's why the froo froo drinks get me and not the hard shots and neat snootfuls. Clear rum or tequila, yum= like! I always my drink/ thing and sit outside and watch the cars go by on a lazy afternoon and ponder the clouds and what those people speeding in their cars are late for. I have to make efforts to be a cloud and drift, expand wherever the winds take me. I try not to worry so much about money and be more Zen like. I try to breathe, clear my head and embrace my inner Duderino. I work on it with my Jamba head clearing sessions and bike rides. I did last Sunday/ Fathers day morning and came home to what would be some hopeful news. It's a start. I'll take a tablespoon's worth of hope. read more

My wife and kids went in here to get an original size Mango and Pineapple. Both tasted good. Jamba Juice has some weird name for the sizes, what is wrong with small, medium, large and extra large? Staff is generally friendly. Store is clean. when they start blending it gets really noisy. Parking can be a problem at times, as it is in same block as Lucky s supermarket. Price is a little high, $5 for an original size. Even when you go in for $1 happy hour special for sixteen size (small) from 8/6/-8/10 from 9-11am you still get hassled if you take 2 people with you and one of you decides to pay. Normally you have to talk to a lead and they will fix it, but each $1 transaction has to be rung up separately. They need to fix their registers. Really slows down checkout process. read more

I have been going to this location for a long time and it has gotten worse with time. This morning I spent 20 minutes waiting for my order and had to cancel it because they had not started my order and I would be late to work. People who ordered after me where getting there orders which is upsetting. I could have gone some where else and now I don't have time to do that. This store constantly has a cash only sign on the door. There juicer is often broken and they often are out of fresh ginger. I go in there for the ginger shots and the fresh juices. Once I arrived around 7 am and waited 15 and the store was closed. With that being said, I do like the employees and they do their best with what they have. read more
