Tasetea OOH LA LA & it has coconut pineapple and strawberry bites and I also asked for coconut jellys!

OOH LA LA smoothie is on of my favorite drink list and I have a few other drinks I have gotten but yesterday was this one! The best part of this tastea is just down the street from my place & if I want one of their tastea and If you haven't been to tasetea it's a must! Thank you tastea employees see y'all next time

Ordered my drink with no ice, and this is what I got--a cup that isn't even close to full. If ordering no ice means getting significantly less drink while still paying full price, that should be made clear upfront. Pretty disappointing to spend money on a drink and receive what feels like half a cup. Definitely not the experience I expected from Tastea.

This isn't my usual location but I stopped by here to pick up a boba drink to share with my son. We ordered the watermelon slushy in the large size which is 32 oz. I just knew looking at the drink that it was mostly ice and not enough juice but I decided to just go with it and didn't think it be gone so quick. My son took about 3 sips and all the liquid was gone. I wasn't even able to have any. It's very disappointing because I paid almost $12 for our drink 32oz but it was more like 6oz of juice and alllll ice.

Karate Chicken - Where's the basil?

Rarely do I leave 1-2 star reviews, but this experience left me genuinely disappointed. Order was placed around 6 PM which was right in the middle of peak hours. The fact that the food was this bad really says something. Karate (Popcorn) Chicken ($14) - 3/10 [Spicy Level]: "Me Soo Spicy" - Wasn't spicy at all (for reference, I eat "medium" at Boiling Crab) It honestly felt like a dash of paprika and cayenne. I'll probably go for "On Fire" next time. [Sauce]: "Strong Sauce" - Sweet & spicy and actually saved the dish. I didn't expect much but it gave the chicken the only real flavor it had. [Basil]: "Extra Basil" - I absolutely love basil, so I requested "extra basil" when placing to order. To my surprise, it came with NONE at all! Flavor wise, it was bland and overly salty. Just didn't have the depth or care you'd expect from popcorn chicken. I feel like the five spice seasoning was accidentally left out altogether. I had high hopes for this place as other locations have consistently offered higher quality food. I think I'll pass on ordering from this place again.

I'm not sure why this location only has 3.7 stars, but they definitely deserve more! The workers were so nice. I ordered a Thai milk tea with light sugar, regular ice and boba. It was perfect! The inside was nice and clean. There was a HUGE Christmas tree which is perfect for the Christmas season! I'd definitely come back to this location! I had a wonderful experience!

    Matcha Blueberry without ice cream

Tried new Matcha Blueberry. Taste is good but I feel a bit cheated with the amount being so short without ice, 1/2 to 2/3 full. For a drink almost $10, you'd think they could at least make it minimally ¾ full. Not worth it unless you get it on special, and even then it's questionable based on the special.

Tastea Ooh La La is my drink for today!

Congrats on your 5 year anniversary! They are offering a promo BOGO but free drink on 3 select flavors only. Classic Milk Tea (added honey boba). Bootie Shaker: Mango, peach and pineapple black tea with a very small amount of black jelly. The service was very nice and friendly. Overall 3.5 stars for today's drinks.

Stopped by for the 5 year celebration! They were doing a promotion for buy any drink/food, receive a free peach me sweet tea/ lychee peachee/ or bootea shaker. I opted for the lychee peachee bc that's one of my favorites! Tried out the new tropical sunrise and it was delicious! It was a blend of mango and watermelon slush so it tasted very similar to the watermelon heaven but with a touch of mango flavor. Overall experience was great. Friendly service and drinks came out quickly!

32oz house special coffee, full sweet, light ice, topped off

If I'm feeling pretty tired and I'm craving a larger than usual size of coffee, I usually head over to Tastea and this is my usual go to location. My order is usually the 32oz house special coffee with less ice, topped off (extra cost with the extra coffee) with full sweet. It can usually last me a pretty long time and if you're into sweets plus love coffee, this is the one for you. They also have some pretty good snacks, I usually enjoy their popcorn chicken and their fries. Recently they even added rice bowls (popcorn chicken and some rice). The service is pretty quick, tho some days you'll be waiting quite a bit with how busy it gets especially Sunday after church. Inside has some seating but don't really expect to have too much space in there; if anything I see it as a grab and go. Give it a try!

    Tiger Milk Tea 50% sweet
    Jonny T.

So the handsome gentleman in the photo, is Taehyun who loves doing magic tricks. I was here for a TXT cup sleeve event, hosted by Moas in the Bay, such a great event and hostess! The drink I got was a themed drink, the Tiger milk tea 50% sweet. A really tasty drink, no pun intended lol . The environment was super busy but fill, because it was a K-pop cup sleeve event.

I'm in heaven. Got my popcorn chicken with the sauce and amazing strawburst. Hot and ready with the basil in my chicken and sweet and delicious with my drink.

Hi Elena, please give our store a call at (408) 622-4615 to confirm. Thank you.

Hi Hien, our jugs are 1 gallon. Thank you.

What is the creme brûlée topping? Is it similar to egg pudding?

Hi Kim, The two items are different, however our new creme brûlée add-on has a creamier custard…

Is it possible to bring my own jar and have it filled here?

Hi Melanie, yes you are now able to bring your own jar and have it filled in the store in place of the plastic cup. Please note that if your jar is less than the 20 oz size or 32 oz size, there will be loss of product. Thank you!

I checked Yelp and was pleasantly surprised to find this place within walking distance. The shop is much larger than many other boba places I've been to, with plenty of tables if you want to hang out and enjoy your drink. I placed my order with the lady at the front and went with the Brown Sugar Boba Latte. Even though there were a few large orders ahead of mine, they worked quickly and my drink was ready in about 2-3 minutes. The first sip completely surprised me in the best way. The boba was perfectly chewy, exactly how I like it. Not hard at all. The brown sugar flavor was rich without being overpowering, and the drink itself was well balanced. It's easily comparable to some of my favorite boba shops in the Bay Area. I'm so glad I found this place while waiting for my car to charge. I'll definitely be back to try more of their drinks!

I guess it's great for those who want to eat bad but healthy. Is it my cup of tea? Not really. My husband and I both agree that we prefer juicy yet fatty chicken over dry & healthy. I mean, we're eating guilty pleasure fried food after all. Calamari 8/10: I've always preferred squid heads and tentacles so was a bit disappointed when all I got were rings. RANG Final…read moreThoughts: 4.50/5 Review for Rang. They have weekly matcha pop ups at Rose Tea Lounge. Original location is in Elk Grove, but they are here in San Jose area. Kind of hard to see and find them? given that there aren't really any signs posted outside. I perhaps wouldn't have known about it if my friend didn't tell me about it. Drink: Guava Matcha Einspanner: 4.5/5 This is their matcha with house-made guava puree at the bottom and topped with silky guava foam. Their foam is so nice and creamy. Felt very light and just thick enough. Silky consistency that mixed well with the drink. My friend noted that they make it fairly sweet, so I opted for the 25%. This was still quite sweet for me. Each component is sweet itself, so when you combine it, its mostly just sweet. No tartness to cut any of it. Perhaps the guava has something to do with that. Guava is a sweet fruit in general, so I seemed to expect as much. The matcha itself had a nice color to it. Very vibrant. Light bitterness. Lovely consistency overall. I like each component separately and I like them together when it's fully combined. Strawberry Matcha Einspanner: 4.5/5 This was my friends drink and I also really liked it. Had to try it for my review purposes. Per their Door Dash description, this is their matcha latte with their home-made strawberry puree and topped with velvety strawberry foam. There really wasn't much of a difference with this one and mine besides the fruit. His was slightly more tart than mine, which is something I like. Again, the drink itself leans more on the sweet side, so any sort of tartness would be nice to cut some of that. Matcha color is amazing. Nice and vibrant. Lovely silky consistency. I like the ratio of fruit flavor and matcha. Some places will make it just taste like milk, others have an imbalance of flavors. This one was just right for me. --------- Quality: Ceremonial Matcha and whisked to order We saw them whisk the matcha to order. Not really a display cooking kind of counter, but they do do all of that in the front where the cashiers are. You are able to watch if you so choose. I do like the matcha that they use, so it seems like a high quality one. That or it's because they aren't batching their matcha like other places. I understand that batching doesn't make it lower quality, but something about whisking it fresh is always better. Price: Average Will depend on the drink, but the prices are around $7 to $9. For our drinks, average around $8.25 per drink. Quite a common price range for a cup of matcha. This one was made well, so no complaints here. There was no upcharge for the oatmilk, which is always a plus for us. Service: Whisked matcha fresh No interactions today. We ordered directly on the kiosk and then just waited for our drinks to come out. Something that I like is that they whisk and make the matcha in front of us. Kind of hard to see, given my height and spot that we were standing, but they do whisk it in the front for us. Of note, they use this hand towel or cloth to wipe the bowls. Not sure how sanitation does with that, but I digress. Just an observation for today. Ambiance: Quaint Flower Café Vibes This place is giving very quaint flower café vibes. I would totally work here if I could work from home or if I needed to study. Space is incredibly spacious on the inside contrary to how the outside and plaza area is looking. Little dim lit inside, but that might be from the little lighting that's hitting through the windows given the angle and evening sun. Location/Parking: Small Plaza This place is like a pop-up/collaboration with Rose Tea Lounge. There's really no label for it outside of the storefront, but when you go into the café and on the kiosk, you can directly order from them. Kind of interesting how it works and I probably would have never seen it if my friend didn't bring me here. Location is not the best as it is right in a smaller plaza on the side of Story Road near the 101 freeway. At least they chose an area that is slightly less saturated. Vietnam Town is really close by and they really do have too much going on over there sometimes. Parking lot is also small, but it seems to work well with the smaller plaza size.
