Had a late breakfast here this morning with my sister. I've tried the Vitality Bowls in Willow…read moreGlen, but this is my first time at this location. I ordered the Power Panini, which is a chicken sandwich with pesto, mozzarella, greens, and roasted tomatoes on multigrain wheat bread. Wow was it good. I loved everything about it, including the bread. It was pretty big, too. I asked the cashier if I could get plain apple juice, which wasn't on the menu, and she offered to make a fresh squeezed drink or one from store bought apple juice. I went with store bought and it tasted great. My sister had The Incredibowl, which is organic açaí, different kinds of fruit, granola, almond butter and milk, and honey. She seemed to enjoy it at first and then pushed it away when she got about halfway through. Not sure what happened. The cafe is small and cozy with just a few tables inside and a few more outside. We were the only customers inside, which was nice. The staff was quick to make our food and friendly. I also want to mention they had the best '70s music playing softly overhead. I'll definitely be back for another Power Panini.

We checked out the menu and then placed our order. The manager waited on us, and he was very nice. My husband ordered the Mighty Med salad, a kombucha, and a nutty bowl. I ordered the Power Panini with chicken and multi-grain bread and a green tea. Luckily, we got there when it wasn't busy, so all tables were available. Our food was brought out to us in a bag, which I thought was weird since we were dining in. My sandwich was hot and very delicious. The chicken was very tender and not dry at all. My green tea was iced cold and refreshing. My husband enjoyed his salad but thought the beef texture was off and tasted old. He said he wouldn't order it again. But the salad part was very good and fresh. He enjoyed his kombucha. He thought the nutty açaí bowl was just okay and didn't taste any peanut butter. We think they forgot to add it. I didn't like the nutty açaí bowl. I didn't care for the flavor. I prefer the açaí bowls at Palmetto Superfoods. I'd probably come back for the sandwich but nothing else.

Had the need for quick carne asada tacos but ended up with a super burrito. And super it was! Super…read moregood. The tender meat was seasoned nicely and blended well with the rice, beans and other yumminess. The side salsas were spicy hot but the best touch was the spicy pickled onions. I grabbed one slice to try and WOW was it full of pungent hotness. A great addition to the burrito. Service was quick and welcoming. Ambiance is hard to rate because it's a food truck in the Lowe's parking lot. But what I saw was a clean area with other patrons enjoying their goods in their cars. It might be an advantage if the truck move a bit to the right near the big oak tree so patrons can utilize the cement tables and read about a lil history of the area on the info boards. Or if that's not feasible provide a portable table but that may not be an option since in a private parking lot. As a recommendation, it would be a nice touch to add a small baggie of chips for a lil crunch. Highly recommend and will be back to try the tacos.

The truck is parked Tuesday- Friday at the gas station off Montague Expressway and Harris Way (Valero). I also love that they give you grilled onion, jalapeño, and pickled onions with the tacos so good. Oh, and their carne asada is solid as well.
