I should've written an update when it was a solid 5…read morestars but this summer (2025), the City of San Marcos partnered with Premier Aquatics and unfortunately, sometimes with change, things go a bit downhill. Before Premier Aquatics, there were plenty of chairs and lounge chairs in the shade, the pool was open during the summer 7 days a week, 12-5, and every Friday night was 'Family Nights' from 6-8. The lifeguards brought out a huge obstacle course and all the kids loved it. Not anymore. The pool is open less hours for recreational swim. M-Th 12-3. F-Su 12-5. There are way less chairs, and no more 'Family Nights'. It's pretty obvious why the rec hours are limited...Premier Aquatics makes more money off swim lessons than they do with recreational swim. They offer more pool passes at different price points, but none of them are through the City of San Marcos. You're buying it straight through Premier Aquatics. My kids still enjoy it, but....meh. 3 stars.

He even encouraged us to confirm details with our social worker and was flexible when we hit a small curveball with elevation changes from a nearby step. Installation day was seamless, about 4 hours for 136 feet of 5-foot fencing, and the finished product looks amazing (pictures don't lie!). He also went above and beyond by cleaning up the area, walking us through how everything works, and making sure we felt comfortable using the gate and removable sections.
