I decided it was time to get a refund and move on... I fortunately landed in the hands of a an excellent optometrist and staff at Verona Vision Center. We are talking top notch experts in their field. The quality of service from the phone call to the exam to the fitting to receiving my glasses is a 10+. My lenses are crisp and clear. It's wonderful to see so clearly out of the high quality material they use. I just can't say enough about the optomotrists level of skill, knowledge and expertise, and the quality of service by her and the other 3 staff members I encountered regarding reception, fitting, and pucking up my glasses. But this is more a matter of preference. If the doctor had leveled with me and had my wallet's best interest at heart, then they would have earned my loyalty easily).

For one thing, you feel like you're going to grab a time slot, but it really wants you to pick the best 3 slots for you, and they'll get back to you. I did that, but when they got back to me, they didn't have anything for a few weeks after what I had selected. They told me that the online booking system was inaccurate - they should probably just ditch that and put up a phone number (or, better yet, fix it). Well, I was taken back and given the intake exams/screening and was told the doctor would be with me shortly. Last, pursuing the frames was called back for her screening. Then, when she walks out the Doctor immediately called for Yoshi and she's taken back to complete the full eye exam. I'm left waiting when I could have went back and been finalized before she ever commenced. With that, I won't bother utilizing Shopko again. I usually plan for Labor Day weekend and complete all appointments while visiting family as I'm out of state now. Well, I'll just find someone local for 2026. This was wholly inefficient. And, the kicker: per the staff they didn't usually get people to show up on time let alone early. Well, this was the gold star treatment of just sit and wait versus expeditiously moving things along. 223p Yoshi is out. 226p he brings out Yoshi's script. 234p I'm called. To get the most out of this location... You may do best to book any appointment and arrive late to be seen on time or timely.
