The first nice part about this shop is that it is open quite late and getting an appointment was easy with a quick phone call. Second, this shop has very high tech exam machines and I was able to get eye X rays (which has a fee but it's worth it). Before the eye exam, there is a pre-appointment room with 3-4 machines that takes a deeper look into your eyes. Third, the folks in this shop are very professional and nice. My doctor was very knowledgeable and very happy to answer all my questions. Finally, this place situated very nicely with lots of parking and access to other shops/restaurants.

I've been here before for other "eye care", and have received excellent care. We don't get our glasses here. Their frames are a bit pricey for our taste. If you're into fancy name brands, you'll be happy. But they don't look down on me for taking that business elsewhere, which is nice. The online appointment system is messed up. For one thing, you feel like you're going to grab a time slot, but it really wants you to pick the best 3 slots for you, and they'll get back to you. I did that, but when they got back to me, they didn't have anything for a few weeks after what I had selected. They told me that the online booking system was inaccurate - they should probably just ditch that and put up a phone number (or, better yet, fix it). That all being said, I'll still get my eye care here - but they could improve some things.

Dr. Emmerich is very thorough and the staff is so personable and helpful. They help you pick your frames and tell you honestly what looks good and what doesn't on you. The frame I wanted came in blue, but it was not at this store. One of the employees ran to the Target on Junction Rd. to bring it back so I could try it. They spent so much time with me, and did not rush me at all. I cannot say enough good things about them. If you have EyeMed vision insurance, for sure check them out!

Didn't buy protection plan to cover any damage I might do to them - they should cover the cost of replacement if it is their mistake of tightening screws too tight so over time the pressure is too much for the lenses. o was a local customer (3 sets) and replaced one set because of same issue (at my cost). don't go there - not good customer service.

One day I stopped in to pick up our ordered glasses and wore a pair of sunglasses given to me by an extremely ill family member. They thought they that needed adjusted around the ears to cure the slippage. The optical representative attempted to make the adjustment and left me with glasses that are broken, unwearable and covered in glue. I was told they are not responsible FOR ANYTHING that goes wrong when attempting to fix outside products. I did not sign anything or see anything allowing them to screw up and leave the customer with nothing.I understand they were trying to make a sale. It worked. Our bill was over$1000. The optical department should not touch any more glasses especially when they are trying to sell you what now are replacements. Not only are my Isabel Marrant sunglasses unwearable I was left with a nice bill from Target.

I needed to get in for an eye exam on a specific date and this was the only place with…read moreavailability. Now I know why! First of all, I wasn't told until I was already here that it was going to be a telehealth exam, meaning over a TV screen with an eye doctor that wasn't on site. Okay, fine. She barely spoke English and I couldn't really understand her, but I was already here and just wanted to get it over with. Then I told them what contacts I wear, and they said they've never heard of that brand (Eureka dailies, by Bausch and Lomb) and they can't dispense a brand that they themselves don't sell. It's never been an issue with other optical places, but okay whatever. I told them I wasn't planning on ordering from them anyway, I always order them through Walmart but unfortunately they didn't have an eye doctor available and couldn't do the eye exam and that I've done this before. They said they would write the prescription for Acuvue instead. I told them I would really prefer to stick with the same brand because I knew they worked and I could afford them. I told them I also wasn't interested in weeklies or monthlies, only dailies. They said they could just write a prescription for Bausch and Lomb since they couldn't do Eureka specifically, and that shouldn't be a problem. Well, like an idiot I didn't look at the prescription to check that it was correct. They wrote a prescription for Acuvue monthlies. So, when I went to fill the prescription, my contacts couldn't be dispensed. Walmart called Stanton and they said they could change the prescription but I had to come in person, it couldn't be done over the phone. Annoying, but not a huge deal. Well, when I came in to Stanton I was told they "can't legally" change a prescription to a brand that they don't sell themselves. Again, I've done this other places before and I was told on the phone that it was doable as long as it was in person. When I asked for a refund so I could go get another eye exam elsewhere, I was told this was impossible since they had already performed the service. What "service", I don't know since I wasn't even actually seen by a doctor, I'm not entirely sure the prescription was correct since I couldn't understand her, and they didn't write me a prescription for the contacts that I wanted. As far as I'm concerned I didn't receive any "service" other than my time being completely wasted!
