OMG, after having a horrible experience at a chain store Staton Opitical in Madison and paying a good share of money for what ended up being extremely poor cheap lenses where the vision was blurry not once, not twice, but in fact 3 times and trips back, and where the frames had problems too. I decided it was time to get a refund and move on... I fortunately landed in the hands of a an excellent optometrist and staff at Verona Vision Center. We are talking top notch experts in their field. The quality of service from the phone call to the exam to the fitting to receiving my glasses is a 10+. My lenses are crisp and clear. It's wonderful to see so clearly out of the high quality material they use. I just can't say enough about the optomotrists level of skill, knowledge and expertise, and the quality of service by her and the other 3 staff members I encountered regarding reception, fitting, and pucking up my glasses. This place is great for eye exams; however, do not purchase anything from this company especially do not use your insurance funds to purchase from this company, they gave me one price before ordering contacts for a year, then when I only received only enough contacts for 6 months, I called them back and they gave me different prices than they had before. Also, when I made a complaint obviously the clerk did not like me complaining because I did not hear back from the business about my complaint or how they could make this right. Now I have to spend more money ordering more contacts from another company where they would have been cheaper from in the first place. read more

While fault of current staff contributed to the negative review and the tone and lack of interest in answering my questions or seeking answers by front line staff is bothersome, the ownership is customer oriented. read more

UPDATE: When you're in a customer service situation you have two basic options: 1. Make things as right as you can. 2. Pretend the problem never existed. Today we received a letter by certified mail from Verona vision telling us they will no longer be able to provide I care services or products for our family. As a new patient, I filled out all of my demographic, health, and insurance information electronically before my appointment so that there was no need to take time doing that during my appointment. An utterly horrible experience at Verona Vision Center. I took my mother in for an eye exam to renew her driver's license. They filled out the government paperwork poorly, incomplete. It would not be taken at the DMV until it was complete. We finally had her eyes examined at Target Optical and they filled out the paperwork properly. Even though her eyesight was adequate, Verona Vision assumed she was too old to drive and would not check the required box. They had best become informed of the paperwork involved with the DMV form, because they clearly overstepped their boundaries, according to Department of Motor Vehicles. They have caused extended inconvenience for my mother and I, and lots of wasted time and money. read more

I've been wearing glasses and contacts for 20+ years and Verona Vision Care is by far the best Optometrist office in the area. Both Dr. Hunt and Dr. Wilson are excellent and the office staff are very friendly and welcoming. I always feel well taken care of, whether I'm in for an appointment or just picking out glasses. I don't live in Verona but I make the 20 min drive because I know my family will have a good experience. Definitely recommended! read more
