Scheduling was easy - I called and spoke with Nisha who was helpful in explaining the process, pricing and availability. When I arrived, I was greeted and directed to Nisha. She was friendly, professional and took time to review my jewelry documentation and carefully inspect my jewelry while completed a short form She clearly explained the appraisal process, which made everything feel straightforward and stress-free. As a nice touch, Nisha also offered to clean my ring after the inspection. I received my appraisal via email withing the promised 7-10 business days. Overall the experience was smooth, efficient and pleasant. I would recommend Brown & Co for appraisal services.

I called the place and they told me that they were a David Yurman Boutique and that they keep more inventory than the David Yurman store in Buckhead. I visited the location shortly after to find that they do carry a lot of David Yurman inventory. However, they did not have the specific item I was looking for. They told me that the David Yurman store in Buckhead only carries items for men...well I knew that was not accurate as I have been shopping at the Buckhead location for 15 years. They also told me that they could check the Buckhead location for inventory. I thought that was odd and opted to go to the Buckhead location anyway. Once an associate came to help me, I had what I wanted in less than 60 seconds. I will try Brown & Company again as it is a large store. I think it helps to know what you are looking for and all your options when shopping anywhere.

I've visited Ascot Diamonds many times over the years. Super nice, people. Absolutely no snooty,…read morehotshot attitudes here. The place is familiar owned and operated. My wedding band and my wife's engagement ring and band were made here as well as a few other items I've purchased. I've sent several of my friends and relatives to Ascot, and they have always been happy. I highly recommend it.

Since most of the people we saw when there were young couples that probably don't know any better. We had 2 appointments with Ross about creating a custom engagement ring. The first time we came in we were very happy that there was a large selection to try on. As I didn't really know what I wanted. We left feeling satisfied. However the second appointment is where this started going downhill. Ross was busy which I understand.. but he left us for 80% of the appointment with someone in training. No fault to her but she obviously didn't know us and couldn't answer any questions that we actually needed to discuss. As she wasn't the one who was helping us from the beginning she just got thrown in. Either way it was fine we then were just waiting on the cad image to proceed. It was supposed to take a week to get to us. Never did so. We did call after 15 days. We finally got it, and I didnt even notice until we went to our new jeweler that it wasn't even done correctly. Spoiler, we have a new local jeweler that my boyfriend is going to, to do this. And he said the proportions were all off and also didn't even look like what we requested in how many diamonds we wanted on the band. I want to note in here too that they try to say they have this super specific diamond process for their diamonds that makes it way more valuable than anybody else's. At the end of the day, it's a lab diamond and the prices that they are charging are absolutely egregious. We got a quote of a 3 carat Marquise, that was $6000... lab. I implore you to do research online about what these companies pay for diamonds. And buy your own or find another jeweler to sell you the diamond. We didn't need to buy a diamond because we already had a center stone, but that was insane. You should never be paying that much for a lab diamond. Anyways, we get the cad file and my boyfriend was going ahead with it and was asking him how he wants to start the payment cycle. This is when it turned really weird and super suspect. We were refused to any other option other than him opening up a Wells Fargo credit card and taking out a loan on it. This is insane. And I do not care whatever response they try to say to this trying to make it seem like it's normal and OK. Because it's not. We've talked to many different jewelers and other people that have bought engagement rings, and this has never been something forced. If you look this up online too, you can see a lot of bad stories where people get in debt because this credit card ruined their credit. We both have excellent credit. 790+ and we plan to buy a house soon. There's no way in hell. I was going to let my boyfriend take out a credit card just to buy a $4000 ring. I'm sure a lot of young couples don't understand how crazy this is. So I just implore you to do your research. My boyfriend went back-and-forth multiple times even asking to pay in full in cash. Since he was told they don't have any way to take any payment of credit card or debit card. That they don't have a system in place and don't even have a card reader. Wtf???? After this we were DONE. Like I said, we went to a new jeweler that was local to Marietta. Told them our experience and he was appalled and shocked. Our new experience with them has been night and day. They sent us our CAD file like three days later and I've been super responsive and honest with the whole process. Even letting us know that our ring would need to have those extra diamonds that I was talking about off and not the ones that we did have on there needed to be specially cut to ratio to our main diamond correctly. Something Ascot either didn't realize or care about. Not to mention his bill ended up being $1000 cheaper. I write all this to say if you want to go somewhere to try on engagement rings and get an idea of what you want this place is perfect . Schedule an appointment try on everything and then you can go wherever you want to actually get your ring created. ( I will note Ascot was never pushy about making an appointment or try to sell you anything. If anything with the fact that they only gave us opening a specific credit card option, they didn't want our money. So I do appreciate them not being a pushy place.) However, do not buy from this place unless they change their billing options. This is 2026. There is no possible reason that you should have to open up a credit card that they specifically want you to open. In order to buy not that expensive of a purchase. Be like any other business and get a credit card reader and learn how to do a payment plan or a one time purchase. Update in picture: they did email and say it was a misunderstanding, def was not. We were never offered another option. 9 month no interest credit card plan only. Update your payment options that's it!
