There were countless truly amazing, giving, kind people at the luncheon and listening to their selfless and unbelievably generous contributions was too great for words even. It started with Dr. Randle a truly phenomenal Superintendent, a strong school board and superstar administrators and they undoubtedly maintain excellence campus-wide at each of the schools amongst staff entirely. By viewing their various social media outlets you will notice how much they show their appreciation taking every opportunity to give back to their devoted employees, it's amazing. Mrs. Ziebold, Mrs. Becerra, Mrs. Scott and Mrs. Dickerson and future administrators have our families' unending support and gratitude and we look forward to continuing to watch the district & it's success continue to grow and flourish! #betheonelcisd

Since replacing the executive director and head of school in 2023 this school has gone downhill and…read morehas lost the majority of their staff and student turnover is very high. There was zero teaching and principal experience with the replacement and would barely qualify as a kindergarten teacher in the public system. They openly talk about underpaying teachers which explains the lack of quality in how they teach. The executive director is extremely arrogant and rude and criticized our student in the most demeaning way via email that would cost any public school employee their job. I would research the qualifications of the new head of school before considering West Lake. I don't see the value in paying $18,000 for a school that is run by someone that is nowhere near qualified.

They focus more on academics and they have a very diverse student body. Most teachers are great (not all) and many do have accents so if that bothers you, this school is not for you. Kids are equally treated & parent involvement is important. Mr. Bilge is amazing & any concern that I have ever brought to him, he has immediately addressed it. Teachers care about their students & staff are helpful & friendly to students (other schools typically are not). I love Harmony & would recommend it to any parents who feel this environment would help their kids focus on learning, growing & becoming great contributors to society.

Academically it is much harder than public school but with small class size and loving and dedicated teachers, she is learning how to study and learn. Their drama department is amazing and we are delighted that she has had the privilege of learning under Ms. Cookie, who has directed musical and drama groups and inspires every child to excellence. Each child chooses an instrument and gets to play in the band very quickly. The loving spirit of the school is nurturing in every way and parents are sent notes when their child has been especially helpful and kind. It is worth every penny of the tuition- a marvelous school!

I have issues with the teachers being petty about the childrens conduct in class. Although, I really applaud the teachers for putting up with adolescent these days. As a parent of three schooled children I am well aware of the obstacles and games kids play. School to prison pipeline enforced here. You either get with with program or they isolate you in a…read moreroom (In School Suspension) for 8 hrs a day, everyday, for semesters at time. No learning study techniques, no lectures, no support. Just stare at a wall and do pointless worksheets. I never had the opportunity to embrace learning because I was relentlessly reprimanded. Wasn't allowed to join sports or clubs because of my grades, further denying me access to support and mentors. I went to college completely unprepared. Suspended me from the bus for a semester in the first 2 weeks or my freshmen year because they grouped me with other students, had to scramble for rides every morning, as a 14 year old. I was constantly in court for truancy, and because of this I went to bootcamp several times and they even threatened to have my parents arrested. Fees, fines, detentions, suspensions. No counseling or resources. I was an A/B student who never got in trouble in middle school, this school was determined to crush me from the very beginning. This school is a disgrace.
