They are a little under construction, but definitely in business. My friend and I came when they opened the doors at 4 pm on a Thursday. Each of us ordered a flight and they also served wine. We just happened to be there at the right time because a gentleman at a neighboring table was able to give us and a few other patrons a mini tour. We literally saw the apples that would be fermented in the next batch! The back was clean and organized. You can tell this "cidery" takes a lot of pride in their work. The bar area still needed to be glazed, but we were able to see a finished table made out of the same wood, and OMG, the wood was absolutely beautiful. Everyone we spoke to were helpful and pleasant. Highly recommend!!!!

James Creek is always a great little getaway! They have flights of their different ciders to try. Seasonal flavors as well as the 'usuals'. Lots of different things to try! On the weekends they have different food trucks so be sure to look at their Facebook page to see what's available. You won't be disappointed!

I attended their first annual Wassail. It's was a neat event where you could optionally participate in a chanting to the trees for good harvest. It was fun. The drinks are reasonably priced. The majority of the drinks are ciders made from the local orchard. They also offer wine and Bosley sodas to drink. To snack, there are a variety of cheeses and crackers on the menu. The night I attended there was also a good truck onsite. The tasting room is fairly new and you can tell the staff are still being seasoned. The bartender explained that the night I went was their busiest night yet. It will be interesting to see how the crowd turns out as there was a variety of people there. I would probably visit again, but my continued return will depend a lot on the service and quality of other visitors. Either way, I'm happy Cameron has this little gem. Keep up the good work!

Hidden gem in Moore County! With offerings of both true to style (European inspired) and local flavors (muscadine), this is a must stop for those looking for something different than their routine watering hole. Excellent ciders, the owners are super friendly and welcoming. New tasting room has covered outdoor seating, and allows dogs.

We had a lot in common with her and felt like walking into "Cheers", relaxed and inviting and only our first visit. We did order a flight, not so much the wife's thing but she did try all of them but 5 glasses is very filling, We had Orange You a Hippie, Resting Peach Face, El Matador, Smooth Hoperator, and Rhizz Up. All of which for me were very tasty, with El Matador being my fav. The wife switched to beer and I finished 4 of the 5, they are filling. Cool place to relax, have a Cider, Beer, Wine, Cider Slushy, they even have soda. A Little of something for everyone.

They are kid friendly and had lots of game areas. I loved that they had skee ball! We'll be back!

So if you see the signs don't worry, you do have to deal with it, but can get it validated inside. I've been in a few times and enjoyed myself each time. I've sat both outside and inside, I love the fire pits outside but they are usually taken. The outside area is definitely kid and pet friendly. Inside it's nice, not too big, has a nice vibe to it. I've liked pretty much every cider I've had and I also enjoyed that they let you taste test them before you commit to one. If it's your first time going in the tasting flight is probably the way to go. My top picks recently have been their cranberry orange cider and their pumpkin chai cider. The bartender let me know that they steep the cider with the tea leaves and spices, you can definitely taste it. They also do a few cider based cocktails, if you're more interested in something with some liquor in it, they have options there. Overall just a really great spot to stop in and grab a drink or hang out for a while with friends

Both a natural winery and natural cidery, this place has something for everyone. With an INCREDIBLY laid back experience in mind, I recommend you visit this site on a nice day, bring a picnic and enjoy a selection of thier best offerings in thier back yard. My wife and I recently came for their anniversary celebration, where they had wine sampling, live music, and a pizza oven. With such a great space, such great beverages, and fun music, there is nowhere I would have rather been. Now let's talk about their beverages. We had samples of their wines, and we also bought a flight to ensure we sampled the full spectrum. All of their wines are made using the natural method, which means that they have exactly one ingredient - grapes. Their wine brand goes by the name of DeFi, and these are all NC and VA-procured grapes, fermented and bottled on-site. I especially loved each of their Pet Nats along with the Piquette Rouge. These wines are all bone dry and bring in some wanted natural notes, which I love in natural wines. Oh, and their ciders! I had never heard of a Pet Nat cider, but now I am all in! All deliciously dry and complex with fun added fruit flavors. I am especially fond that they use the only North American tropical fruit - the Paw Paw in their ciders. The produce used in their ciders is harvested locally as well, and with the amazing combination of different apples used in their ciders, each is unique and delicious. They also have an amazing little market with local specialties, which is based on an honor payment system (something I have rarely seen). If you are anywhere in the Raleigh-Durham area, I highly recommend stopping by and enjoying the amazing offerings here. You will not regret stopping by.
