My Family Loves! I am a picky eater but I love their Salads! Would be nice if they accepted reservations

Delicious grilled cheese on sour dough bread. Believe it or not the vegetables were amazing! El Dente and fresh. My husband's Italian sub was good and he loved the fries - a little different than the usual. We are here on a holiday weekend on Friday at 4:00. It is very cool inside with ac and lots of people are sitting on the covered porch out back. There is a little pond adjacent. I can hear myself talk and my husband even though people are at the bar cheering for the USA Soccer Team. I like it here. It is reasonably priced. People greeted us as we walked in, even holding the door. We'll be back when we drive through again. read more

We met a friend at Brunswick Beer & Cider for lunch after hearing good things about it. I had especially heard about the lavender lemonade, so of course I had to try one! It was really good and definitely much better fresh at the brewery than the canned version I had previously picked up at Total Wine. For food, we tried two Smashburgers -- one with beer-battered fries and one with onion rings -- as well as the fried chicken sandwich with curly fries. Everything was very tasty. The burgers came out great, the onion rings were especially delicious, and the fries were all good. We also tried the strawberry lemonade cider, which was really enjoyable. Our waiter, Will, was very nice and took good care of us. The biggest downside was how long it took for our food to come out, especially for a lunch visit. It was a noticeably long wait. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and might come back, but since it's a bit of a drive for us, there are quite a few places closer to home that offer a better value and are a little more convenient. read more

We finally made it to Brunswick Beer and Cider at 1313 S Dickinson Drive in Leland. We'd known for weeks we loved their Lavender Lemonade Cider. My group called it the best they've ever had. The brewpub has a great private party space and plenty of room to settle in with a pint of their craft beer or cider. Parking was easy. The service was sharp. A genuinely good spot in Brunswick County. Worth the short drive across the bridge from Wilmington. read more

Went here a few weeks ago, and sat near the bar. We could out it's a sister property of the Wilmington Beach Brewery, which was nice, because you know quality is on the line. We split an appetizer while I enjoyed a flight of their craft beers and ciders, while my mother had a lite lager. Next we split their carnivore pizza - which could have had more meat toppings, other than the bacon bacon bacon. Not that I'm complaining about the bacon, but would have liked more of the other toppings. Service was friendly, but took a few extra minutes for the server/bartender to get to us initially. But service improved thereafter, even after the crowd started coming in. And even with the crowd the volume didn't raise much, making it easy to have a conversation without having to shout. The building itself is structured like a warehouse, but they did great with the interior, I just wish we could see the brew masters at work. 4 out of 5 stars, will definitely bring us back. read more

Had our corvette club meeting here today and lunch after. About a dozen of us went into the main room to eat. Abby was our waitress and she did a great job! I had two margaritas which were of course excellent like last time. Was underwhelmed by the grilled chicken on ciabatta bread sandwich. Fries weren't crispy but I was starving. Everyone had a variation of pizza, wings, burgers. We enjoyed the atmosphere. Food 3 stars Abbey five. Plenty of parking. read more

Beth...our server . Very attentive and knowledgeable I had a Pilsner and the wife had a Something Irish Red Beet salad was delicious. Chicken waffles with hot spicy honey were delicious...I was surprised it came with a large amount of butter but it was easy to just push to the side. At first glance, the place was packed (at lunchtime). The clientele was older, which isn't the worst thing- as I'm a little older! We sat at a high top in the bar area and Mike was our server. He was super pleasant and accommodating. Mike was the above and beyond kind of server, but the food was not made with any live whatsoever. I ordered a club sandwich with beer batter fries. You eat with your eyes first, and this was very huge and not neatly put together. I could barely eat a half of it and took the rest home. We had dinner here on a Friday evening in March. I imagine the crowds are much worse in the summer. We had a short wait and then got seated. Our waiter was very good and friendly. He kept up with drinks and our order. We got our food very timely. It was all good. The best part of the experience for me was they had just come out with a Red beer. I love trying red beers and they are not always easy to find. This one was excellent! I dont recall the name but it is only on draft. They do not bottle or can it... which is a bummer. Our Philly pizza had 4 (we counted) pieces of 1/4 inch steak on the whole of it and was piled up with mushrooms ...to make up for lack of meat It was very, very bland and had at least an inch of cheese globbed on-in spots ( to hide the lack of steak?) They offer a wide variety of beverages too- including wine, soft drinks , and a wide variety of beer, ale, and hard ciders. Food is good. Service is very good, and the restaurant is large, and it can get noisy. Prices are competitive and portions are good size. o disappointed in Brunswick Beer and Cider today. We live in Leland and go here fairly often, at least ten times overall between takeout and dine in. We usually rave about the place but tonight was bad enough to leave a review. We got take out this evening at 7:15pm 6/5/2026. First of all, the hostess had a horrible attitude. Young girl, dark hair with an edgy look. She was very unfriendly and short, and used the F word when she jammed her finger. I got tacos and they were not good. The shrimp was extremely fishy tasting like it was old and the tacos were bland. My husband got a burger and found THREE hairs in it. Absolutely disgusting. The whole experience was a nightmare and we definitely won't be returning anytime soon. read more

The food here was excellent. Very fresh and made to order. The wife and I enjoyed the stop on our way to Myrtle beach down the coast. Also nice open concept in the dining room and the bar chairs were custom and comfy. Would stop again. Oh and the beer was good too! read more

Our family loves to meet here for good food and good beers. My husband loved a hazy IPA he had here so much our neighbors ordered a small keg for their kegerator. They were not disappointed! We have visited Brunswick Beer & Cider on our last 2 visits to Wilmington. We usually stay in nearby Leland, which makes a visit here very convenient. The food & beverage options keep us coming back. We have had sub-par service, which is why I'm sitting at 4 stars. On our recent trip, we opted to sit outdoors on the covered patio. There were several private parties inside which made a wait for a table indoors quite lengthy. It was a very hot day, but the patio fans kept the breeze blowing. I only wish they could have kept the flies and bees away, but that's a price we paid! We were greeted by our server right away and ordered waters to start. That was the only time she was prompt. It took her upwards of 15 minutes to come back to take our drink order. Another 10 to get our drinks and place our food order. When we were clearly finished (napkins on plates/plates stacked together), she never bussed our dirty plates. She just came by and asked if we were done. I had to keep my smart mouth closed. The flies became quite annoying. She was quick to collect our signed tab after we paid, but still never bussed the table. On our recent visit, we ordered a cheese pizza, vegetarian pizza and hummus - all very good! I dare say there's is one of the only pizzas that is just as good the next day. Flavorful sauce, crust and toppings. I especially love the balsamic drizzle on the veggie pizza. Little one even ate her leftover cheese pizza cold, which she never does! A friend ordered the smash burger with mac and cheese. Both were devoured. They have a pretty extensive drink list including wine and kombucha. All the beers I have tried (stouts or IPAs) have been flavorful. I will certainly return on another visit - hopefully with improved service. read more

Tried several flight selections Apple Pie and Amber were our favorites based on a semi sweeter taste. Food choices were Sweet Thai Beer Battered Cauliflower, Roasted Beet Salad w/Grilled Chick, and the Brunswick Burger. All were delicious and feeling. Awesome place for a drink and some good food. Always enjoy the cider here and they have plenty of varieties so you can find your favorite. Our server was great and gave samples if you can't decide! Getting their growlers or cans to-go is also a great option. I like the indoor and outdoor option. I've been before when they games and music outside for some fun too! Had the sweet heat pizza and added prosciutto and I thought it was excellent, very cheesy and I liked the crust was a little soft but not too much. Tried out Brunswick Beer and Cider and was very impressed with their beers. It is hard to find a brewery with as many cider options as they had, so I will definitely be back to try out more of the many options that they have. As far as food is concerned they have a full kitchen and menu. I ended up getting the pork skins with ranch seasoning to snack on while I drank my beer and watched some football. They were nice and crunchy and still warm from the fryer. The food prices are a bit on the pricey end and not what would would expect from a brewery, and while I didn't try any of the other food options, I will say that all of the dishes I saw brought out of the kitchen were very generous portions and looked great! read more

Loved the vibe here--lively, packed, and full of energy. It's a bit on the loud side, but perfect for enjoying a fresh beer or even a nice glass of wine. I tried the salmon, and while the flavor was great, the portion was smaller than expected, especially for the price. When we were leaving, we mentioned it to the host and asked to speak with the manager. The manager was wonderful and went above and beyond to make it right, which we really appreciated. First visit to Brunswick Beer & Cider in Leland NC. Arrived at opening 11am. The venue is very open and bright. Has a banquet room and huge patio seating. My waitress greeted us with a smile and overview of the offerings. I think it is tough to find unique ciders so went that route. The blood orange was good but my next one the Lavender lemonade was epic! Let's talk food. The fish tacos were 100% fresh. I think every part of it was made in-house. The sweet potato waffle fries were awesome, the perfect crisp. Mac and cheese no doubt made in-house and very tasty. The Italian Spicy Hogie reminded me of my favorite one in Charlotte from Just Fresh. To summarize you won't go wrong visiting here. I'm going to suggest to my son that his company host a meeting here. read more

Its a huge warehouse with plenty of seating indoors. There is a nice little pond you can look at if you sit next to the windows. I tried the smashburger ($16) and the big boy grilled cheese ($10). They come with an option of either curly fries or sweet potato fries. The smashburger comes with two smashed patties, smoked Gouda, Airline Amber BBQ sauce, bacon jam, red onions and mushrooms. The big boy grilled cheese comes with cheddar, Jack, smoked Gouda, mozzarella and bacon jam. I liked the smashburger better than the grilled cheese. Smashburger was a little more on the sweet side because of the bacon jam. The grilled cheese was okay, nothing compared to Cheesesmith. The bread was lightly grilled, dry. Sweet potato fries were not crispy but the curly fries were. Food took a very long time to come out but they did just open. Also tried their draft Octoberfest IPL, which was good. Wrightsville Beach brewery cans were available. They are currently waiting for their ABC license so there are not many draft options. Staff were very nice. read more

I've kept returning here mostly for late lunches OTW back from Wilmington. A few very positive things I've noticed; the ciders are great, pizzas are really good (love the special creation of the week) and service is always fast, friendly and efficient no matter where you sit. They also do an excellent job of keeping everything clean and new brews are steadily being put online. I do wish they'd seriously consider listing on Untappd. It would be a big convenience to customers at an establishment like this, help bring in people who might otherwise pass by and also draw true beer/cider fans in from a larger radius. read more
