I had back issues, the doctor helped me with my uneven hip. I needed to go to a couple of times but after everything was good!

Having never before turned to chiropractic care, I wasn't sure quite what to expect from my visit to Dr. Gustin's Office but, as soon as I walked in, I knew I was in good hands. The ladies at the reception desk are warm and friendly every single time and they show genuine care and concern. Dr. Gustin is also very genuine, caring, and professional. What I appreciate most about him is his genuine interest in understanding my symptoms and taking the best steps to treat them. He has no interest in recommending (and, thus, billing for) services that are not necessary, which is refreshing and often unheard of in private practices these days. I have seen Dr. Gustin four times now and I am seeing real improvement in my condition! I do want to point out that the place gets a little busy sometimes, which can be inconvenient, but I think it is a testament to the quality of the chiropractic care and customer service provided. Otherwise, so many people wouldn't be rushing there. Parking can be a little tricky at times but don't fret - there is additional parking directly behind the building. The facility itself is very clean and tidy as well as warm and welcoming, which isn't always the case in any type of medical facility. The tables are quite comfy and they are the type that that use paper lining over the area where the face rests to increase hygiene. I was looking for a good Chiropractor in the SGV and eek I had no referral! So, I did a search on my insurance website and found this guy. I looked for reviews on Yelp and couldn't find any so, of course being the geek that I am, I googled him. Sound great and he has a very informative website. Why not? I gave him a try. He was very good. He listened to my complaints, checked me, and took care of me. After only one visit I already feel better. I was referred to Dr. Gustin by my co-worker, whose father goes to him about once a month. I had just had an accident and needed some work on my back. He definitely made me feel a lot better and would recommend him to anyone. In fact, I may visit him once a month just to ge re-aligned. Dr. Gustin is the best chiropractor I have met. Before found him through my insurance provider, I had been to a few chiropractors that are either good but out of network or pretty shitty within my network. I was almost about to give up finding a competent doctor within my network and here I am! I found the perfect hidden gem! The clinic is located in a small plaza where next to it is a thrift store. So when you drive by and you see a thrift store sign, this is the plaza. All his staff are very nice and attentive, which I really appreciate. Even though the appearance of the clinic may not look astonishing, what matters is the service. Their business hour is between 8:00 am - 5:30 pm. I scheduled a visit at 4:15 pm in that I am a new patient and they need to take extra time for the new patient. Like all doctors' visit for the first time, Dr. Gustin asked me about my symptoms, how long has the condition been going on, and whether or not I have experienced chiropractor's treatment before. I told hime that I took X-ray when I went to my first chiropractor. He decided there is no need for me to re-take X-ray seeing I already know what causes my discomfort. (Thank you Dr. Gustin for not wasting meaningless exam!) What amazes me is, without aid of X-Ray, he diagnoses that my complaint should have existed more what I wrote in the new patient form simply by touching my neck and back. After consulting my complaints, he started off with putting heat pat in my back. I like the way he interacts with patients. He tells patients what he is going to do and what the patient may feel like. He seems very reliable and won't persuade patients to purchase unnecessary treatment sessions. Yet there is aa reminder. His adjustment approach begins relatively subtle. As I didn't hear much of popping sound as my previous chiropractor, he then later explained to me that he prefers to loosen patients muscles and bones first and then as the treatment goes along I will hear more popping sound. read more

I must say I have always been skeptical about Chiropractors. I was reffered by a friend who was a retired Chiropractor so I figured what the hay. I had displaced a rib in my upper back and I was in horrible pain. Dr. Gustin and his staff were off the charts wonderful in every aspect of how a doctors office should be run. I am doing so much better thanks to Dr. Gustin. I came in having back pain 24/7 due to 2 slipped discs and a bulging disc. The pain would range from a 3 (while laying down) and spike up to 8-10 depending on what I did. Sometimes simple housework or too much walking would take me out for days. My ROM has improved and I am basically pain free now except when I don't follow his direction and overdue it. The staff is always friendly and Dr. Gustin always greets you with a smile.
