This place had a variety of fudge, candy, souvenirs, macaroons, popcorn, nuts, jams, coffee. It was overwhelming, but in the best way possible! We purchased a half pound of vanilla/vanilla walnut fudge and 1/4 pound of chocolate chip cookie dough/vanilla M&M fudge. They were sweet, and so good!! I also purchased creamy mint sticks and half a pound of the pecan toffee nuts, and everything is delicious! The employees were generally very friendly and well mannered. The young man by the fudge was much nicer and helpful than the young girl in the nuts/popcorn station. All in all, I like this place! read more

Great little store in Sea Isle, friendly staff, good selection, convenient hours. The fudge is excellent, the chocolate pretzels are good and the staff is courteous and helpful. They also have cute little toys for kids and many other little items. I'm a fan of James's fudge and their prices are reasonable. Visited James back around July 4 th week The service was excellent the young lady hat helped me was very friendly and recommend some good fudge favors she marked all my boxes since I was buying 6 lbs of fudge and let me sample a new flavor to see how it tasted I always go to James when in sic and have never had a bad experience there salt water taffy is also very good and they have neat little gifts if you need something for a little one read more

James is by far the best candy store in the area. Believe me I've tried them all! We always get their fudge, caramel corn and homemade caramels. My kids watch them make it all in the back. Unlike johnsons their caramel corn has an assortment of nuts and is much more buttery. You will never buy johnsons again! It's also a one stop shop: gifts toys marinades candy. You name it! As soon as walked in I was quickly greeted by the miserable young lady behind the counter. I told her I would like to buy some fudge, she replied " you get 5 flavored for a pound, pick 5. Ok, I bought a pound and wanted to buy a second pound but she would not package them in half pound boxes.. Really, I was still paying for a pound.. BS , I will never be back or ever recommend this place to anybody. There are many other places to buy popcorn, nuts and candy and that have a larger selection and a friendlier staff. James needs to take lessons in sales from the Fudge Kitchen in Ocean City, NJ!! I recently visited James to buy a few pounds of Fudge and asked a young college girl behind the counter if I could sample a few different varieties to make my selections. After my second sample ( a mere sliver) she scolded me and said"we usually only allow one sample but since we are not so busy I will let you try one more". Are you kidding me!!! I am not some teenager who came in to just sample and leave! I ended up buying just a half pound and left! I am done.... I won't be going back!!! A few nights later I was in OC and I was baraged by employees to try different samples... You couldn't avoid trying in this store!! I left with 3 lbs and a sweet taste for great customer service! James you need to train your employees better.....the customer is king!!! So long James!!! Your fudge isn't that great! Be warned... Don't ask for a sample!!!!!! read more
