I'm typically not into sweets or breakfast honestly but occasionally I get a craving for them. This was one of those times. In all honesty I would've chosen somewhere else had I known all they offered was cake donuts as these are my least favorite donuts of all time...all though I'm glad my ignorance was running rampant that day. They make the donuts in front of you and a lot of times not just put the toppings on them but also cook them to order. They're fresh needless to say. The topping combinations are not the old school ones like sprinkles or sugar (although they do have those available) but are pretty creative (and tasty!). Now onto the donut itself, I do not nor have I ever liked cake donuts. They've always been too dense and the flavor for me overtakes the toppings. These are not the normal cake donuts I'm used to. They are light, not as light as a yeast donut but much better than what I've ever had. They're soft and hold the toppings well. On this day I wanted to do breakfast so I went for the PruneWich: Egg, Cheese and meat on a french toast Hot Donut! choose from Bacon, Pork roll or Sausage. Being in New Jersey I went for Pork Roll and they were out of it!!! Come on guys, you're in the state that makes the stuff, how do you run out?! Anyways, sausage was going to deliver the same fatty, salty experience as the Pork Roll so I opted for that. The only issue is because the donuts are soft and warm, they fall apart when you take one bite. So the sandwich becomes a fork and knife dish, which still tastes good but defeats the purpose if you ask me. All in all, it's a great place, they've also teamed up with the Amazing Jason Kelce for his "Fat Kelce" donut. Topped with peanut butter glaze, with crumbled bacon, topped with a honey and chocolate drizzle. 100% proceeds go to charity. Grab a dozen, try some of the flavors you thought wouldn't work and you'll be surprised and be sure to buy a Fat Kelce! read more

My intentions is not to slam the business. I hope you will take the time for quality instead of quantity. I hope your business is successful. The donuts look great and I'm sure that's why the 4.5 stars. I did not have a donut but I'm rating the bagel sandwich. I'll do my best to be kind. 1st I don't think the egg is real. It is prepackaged and warmed in the microwave. Not fresh at all . It was flat like a pancake and no flavor. 2nd the bacon came from a pig who was on a diet. Paper thin a best. They cut it with a meat slicer. 3rd the cheese was just ok. 4th The bagel itself was just ok. My suggestion is to use quality ingredients or take the sandwich off the menu. This is truly not an east coast bagel. Locals should expect more. Skip this place if you want true east coast style breakfast sandwich. You will get a better sandwich from McDonald's and a better price. read more

We were so excited when we saw that a fractured prune opened in Sea Isle. We used to travel to Ocean City to get them. These are warm cake donuts topped with your selection of flavors. Today was our first visit here and both the food and the service where nothing short of Outstanding! We started ordering individual donut selections when the young man behind the register suggested either half or a whole dozen would be discounted vice just ordering individually. It wasn't hard at all to find a dozen sorted varieties. We also ordered a couple of lattes and a hot chocolate. I'm from out of town but I've been going to the fractured prune in Rehobeth Beach DE for years. I called the store in Sea Isle at 12:30pm and told them that I wanted to order a dozen donuts but I wouldn't be able to make it there by the 1pm closing time. The person I spoke to said that since I was from out of town, they would leave the donuts outside for me and only charged me half price in case that they got stolen. I got there around 2:30pm and the donuts were in a box sealed shut with tape. And the donuts were amazing as usual! Love this franchise. read more
