I am a young adult who has had a lot of previously traumatic dental experiences but the doctors and staff members at University Hills are so kind, welcoming, and efficient that I don't mind going to the dentist. The quality of the services are impeccable and I can tell that the professionals there take pride in their work based on the attention to detail and advanced level of care provided.

I was traumatized by several dentists and orthodontists not listening to me, not taking my pain into account, even later on as an adult. Dr Boucher and her assistants reconciled me with going to the dentist, and I am no longer scared. Not only do they explain everything, answer any and all questions I have, show me the X-rays and teach me to read them... They also have consistently been the most thorough and the most comprehensive dentists I have even been to. They truly treat your teeth and your oral health as an important part of your body health, not a separate one. Dr Boucher asked a series of questions regarding my sleep, my medications, and my work, that I was never asked before. Turns out, it was playing a role in a problem I have, and we're now able to fix it. The clinic is small but not stuffy or congested, and very comfortable. There are bright colors, plants, plenty of sunlight, and nature sounds playing very low in the background. If you have anxiety about medical and/or dentist care, this helps a great deal. If you don't, it'll still be very pleasant. Everything is extremely clean but still comfortable, and I always feel safe going there. Last but not least, the administrative workers are also friendly, never rushing me, yet efficient. Long story short: if you are scared of going the dentist, come to Dr Boucher for friendly yet rigorous, and empathetic care. If you aren't scared of the dentist, come to Dr Boucher anyway, for comprehensive and efficient care.

Each room is set up like a pretty standard dental office, very clean. On my first visit, they told me they like to do a full set of x-rays just to get an idea of what my teeth are like overall, but my insurance didn't cover for a full set. So they told me they will still do the full x-ray set, but just write it as whatever my insurance will cover, and they will cover the remaining cost. How great is that?!? The staff is wonderful and courteous, also very punctual. I'm never waiting in the waiting room for more than 5 minutes. The cleanings are done nice and quickly, I'm in and out in less than an hour. Dr. Vaandehaar is great! He always makes suggestions for me to consider, but is never pushy about getting anything done that isn't absolutely necessary. For example, when I had a cavity, he obviously strongly recommended that I take care of it asap. But when it came to some preventative things, he told me what was going on, and what some options are and said it's something to think about. The only complaint that I have is, they do send A LOT of appointment reminders via email and text, multiple times leading up to your appointment. Yes, you can totally opt out of it, so I guess this is really on me. Also, TDC is the only place that staff actually came in and sang happy birthday to me during my cleaning. It was so sweet! The space is modern and very clean. They have a comfortable waiting area with different sitting areas, TV, magazines, etc. The staff is welcoming, efficient and organized. Each department works together to create a great experience (check in, hygienist, dentist, insurance, scheduling). Amazing team! They are a busy office so sometimes scheduling can be pushed out but I've always gotten a call about openings and have been able to get in earlier than expected. They have provided excellent communication and referrals when needed. I have been so happy with my hygienist. My teeth always feel so clean after. She's efficient and thorough. Dr. Brittany Bowen is awesome. She is kind, patient, and truly listens. I know she is always doing what is best for me and my health. I continue to be impressed by this team and am pleased with every experience I have had at Associated Dentists. Highly reccomend!

If you are in the area, this location is bus-friendly and there is a coffee shop in the same building if you need to do work or wait before/after appointments.

After my first appointment though, I am (mostly) not dreading my follow up appointment! The building itself is straight out of Better Homes and Gardens magazine, very comfortable and clean with obvious aesthetic appeal that made me look at my own home decor in envy. They have a very comfortable waiting room with some fun things for anyone who might have some nervous kids - or adults who are kids at heart. The staff was very easy to talk to and professional. They answered my laundry list of questions, some of which probably toed the line on what is and what is not their actual responsibility. Special thanks to Sky who helped me feel calm and at home as we watched a cooking show on the tv above the patient chair (nice!). Lastly, the complete transparency during checkout was really a huge selling point. They showed me a complete breakdown for my follow up appointment so that I could make adjustments as needed and avoid any awkward sticker shock conversations. Thankfully, my insurance covered most of my appointments, but I know that is not always the case for everyone; the transparency during scheduling is telling of their business model! The main reason I keep coming back is because of Wendy, the office manager. She's an absolute rock star when it comes to customer service. I used to go to the Middleton location, but when I needed to reschedule, the staff there (and even at Verona) weren't willing to check availability across other offices. When I called Regent Street, Wendy went above and beyond. Not only did she check her location's schedule, but she offered to look into openings at other First Choice offices to make sure both my wife and I could get in for cleanings. That kind of effort really stood out. Since then, I've had great experiences here. The dental hygienist Will is friendly and professional, and Dr. White is attentive when reviewing my teeth and X-rays. Parking is also easy--there's a small lot, but I've never had trouble finding a spot. If you're looking for quality dental care with staff who truly go the extra mile, I highly recommend the Regent Street location of First Choice Dental.

I want to begin this review by stating that I am a very nervous patient. To make matters worse I…read morewas referred here for an extraction of a bad tooth. At my initial consultation , I did decide to have a dental implant placed. Kim in the business office was extremely helpful in examining my insurance and letting me know what the cost would be at the time of the procedure. Today was the date for my procedure. I was greeted promptly and signed necessary forms. Emily and Meredith took me to the procedure room where they hooked me up to various monitors since I was going to have sedation for the extraction. My doctor is Kim Pansegrau, DDS,MD and he provided me with IV sedation. Within seconds he proceeded with the procedure and I have zero recollection of any of the mechanics of the work. And when done, unhooked me from the monitors and put me in a wheelchair and took me to the recovery area, where I spent about fifteen to twenty minutes. Mason checked my vitals and when I was ready to go , explained the medications I needed to take and the precautions I needed to use. When ready he put me in a wheelchair and rolled me outside to the car where my wife was waiting to take me home. The whole experience was very efficient and in my mind flawless. I had zero discomfort and quickly resumed ability to walk and eat since the anesthesia was not so overwhelming. I am so thankful to the doctor and his very able assistants. Not only is this doctor highly recommended but the whole office staff made the experience which I was so nervous about a very benign affair. Kudos to the staff at the Center of Oral and Maxillary Surgery.
