We had just moved in and wanted a fresh coat of paint on the walls and ceilings and his team did a great job.

They were fast, efficient, polite, extremely hard-working, professional and cared about the job. We didn't even need an architect, just a handshake. We all knew what we needed to build and worked together. It was an amazing experience. I would recommend Antonio and Northland and his crew to anyone, anytime. Thank you very much, Antonio.

Antonio felt as if he could bully, intimidate me into removing a negative review because I felt that he wasn't providing adequate service. I can attest to the fact that Antonio is NOT customer service oriented and should never interact with customers because his doing so will definitely hurt a company that really has good values, reputation and that is growing financially. As a result of Antonio's antics, I ended up writing negative reviews and even contacting the BBB to file a complaint. I thought that Antonio was the only person who could address the problem but was I so wrong. Robert contacted me on Friday, September 1, and I could tell that he was very concerned about what was happening with my roof and ceilings. He showed up on Saturday morning, with his crew, and he actually walked through my kitchen, upstairs bedroom and the attic space, reviewed the video and the photo's that were taken, and even did the water hose test. Very thorough because he actually cared and wanted to find out what the problem was. He listened to me, and for that alone, I was appreciative. He wasn't condescending, he was patient, kind and caring and thorough. He didn't treat me like I was an idiot simply because I was not a roofer. I even had to leave for a scheduled meeting and I was absolutely comfortable leaving him and his crew at my home with my kids, and of course my neighbor. He followed up, told me the next steps, scheduled the time and they showed up. No changes, now showing up when they wanted to, and a very detailed, step by step project. On Tuesday, two of his contractors showed up, and from the moment they met me, he knew my name and they were so polite, and clean, they knew their stuff. I didn't expect all that was done but after they cut through the roof, he showed me the water stains on the wood but everything was dry, then they replaced the ceiling in the kitchen and painted my entire ceiling. In addition, they went to my son's room and replaced the rotted wood wall panel that was molded, and painted it too! This was way more than I expected. Those two guys worked hard, and until they were finished. I tried to buy them lunch but they were so humble. We are praying that the leaks are all fixed (none so far) and, if anything does happen again, I know that I can reach our to Robert and He will be there! I will always contact Robert for any issues, new jobs or projects that I may have, even for my company as I am a property manager and will float their company around my company. Northland, please take this advice, Robert should be the face of the company. His customer service is outstanding and soothing. Our interaction on the phone and in person was so easy and pleasant that I almost forgot about the issues I had with Antonio. I can move on now, and trust Northland because of Robert and his crew. From me (Angel) and my kids, Alvin, Anika and Amora, You're the BEST, Robert! Thank you soooooo verrrrry muuuuch!

They destroyed a mature eight year old 5' high Hydrangea bush by my front door. Surprise surprise, as I am writing this, yet another large empty box of roofing material has just been thrown and falls right by my bedroom window. The video shows my broken Hydrangea being shoved with the rest of garbage they trashed my patio with. Shingles were hung over the trees, an awful site. This is unbelievably surreal and negative experience. I guess They pick up these men on the side of the road on the way to your home. No one to answer for what they do, no one cared. Do not waste your money.

Afterwords, they were understanding and quick to add me to their busy schedule. The onsite team were professional and hard working. They did find additional work that was needed and requested that I review the added work with the added price. Glad I was there to see they were truthful and boy I'm glad I followed their advice. All said and done they serviced my home and were neat. The cleanup was also amazing. But please understand that all said and done no matter how clean and neat the service is there is and will be some minor things left behind. Like a nail or two maybe some unseen gutter clips. This is expected and I'm glad I hired this company. I strongly recommend them for your household needs. I'm certainly going to call them to see if they go into the city area for any work if my mom's house needs any repairs. It's worth it to ask.

The estimator was professional, took measurements, and provided what I felt was a fair quote. The installation crew completed the work using roof straps rather than attaching the gutters to the fascia board. This immediately raised concerns because my previous gutter system was secured to the fascia and tied into the rafters. When I contacted the company, I was told roof straps were used because I supposedly did not have a fascia board. Less than three months later, during the winter, approximately half of the front gutter detached from my house and snapped in half. Initially, I was told this was an "act of God." However, after the company inspected the installation, they discovered the roof strap spacing was significantly wider than New York recommendations, roughly 40 inches apart when spacing should have been approximately 18-24 inches. At that point, they replaced the damaged front gutter, added additional straps, inspected the rear gutters, and assured me everything else was fine. Unfortunately, a few months later I noticed one of the rear roof straps had completely detached, and the strap spacing in the back did not match the corrections made to the front. Around the same time, I contacted another local gutter company with nearly 50 years of experience for an estimate on gutter guards. During their inspection, they questioned why roof straps had been used at all because my home does, in fact, have a fascia board available for attachment. My biggest disappointment was not the initial failure itself, but the inconsistent explanations and quality concerns that followed. After spending thousands of dollars on a new gutter system, I expected an installation that would provide long-term reliability and peace of mind. Based on my experience, I would recommend homeowners thoroughly research their options, ask detailed questions about installation methods, and obtain multiple opinions before moving forward with a gutter replacement project.
