Roasted garlic burger with garlic fries and fry sauce. Very good!

I don't know what it is about this place that makes you feel good. It's just positive vibes. I had the roasted garlic burger and my husband had Bacon n' blue burger. Both were very good! Our daughter had the chicken strips that were cooked to perfection. Very friendly service as well! They've even got outdoor seating with a bar for when the weather warms up. They offer a great variety of breakfast options daily until noon. We'll definitely be back! Thanks for having us James!

Had sandwiches and a beer here for a late lunch on the way back to the south end from seeing the tulips a couple months ago. Service was great, we sat at a table in the bar area, bartender was very attentive, got us drinks real quick and menus. Food was only about 10-15 minutes, we had a club sandwiche, a crispy chicken sandwich and waffle fries - everything was fresh and well put together - fries were hot and crisp and their tartar sauce as really good. it was about 3pm on a Saturday, there were a few people in the bar/restaurant, and a few people outside, maybe 20 people total, but as we were leaving, it started to get busier - I bet it's a real fun place to hang out on a Saturday night.

This place used to be the Stump. Free parking can be found in the parking lot. Discover is an accepted form of payment. Jamestown offers indoor and outdoor seating. There is also a large poker room. Jamestown offers a full bar and a nice selection of local craft beer. During our visit, we chose to sit outside where there is ample covered seating to be found. There were young children seated outside; however I didn't see any children seated inside. My wife and I had a couple local pounders of beer for $6 each. Schooner's are also available for $3.50 each. My wife had the Chicken Burger for $12.99 + $2 up-charge for Tots. I had the Clubhouse Sandwich for $13.99 + $2 up-charge for a small Salad. We both enjoyed our lunch choices. Staff members were friendly and all were following Covid19 guidelines correctly. Overall, food is a bit spendier than what one would expect for a saloon; however, portions are on point for the price point. I like the fact that schooner's can be provided upon request. We will both be back in the future.

Couldn't wait for the photo, I ate this so fast!!!!

Gratuity of 20% is automatically added to tabs for parties of 6+. Lounge seating consists of sitting at the bar. Large groups are not ideal; table tops seating four without ample room to combine tables. Seating can also be found around the pie station. Pie Dive Bar offers a full bar as well as house cocktails. Food menu is narrow, offering savory and sweet pie choices. My wife sipped on a Jameson on the rocks for $9 while I sipped on a glass of A'ki Cab for $10. For dinner my wife chose the Steak Pie for $16: flank steak, onions, garlic, potatoes, peas, carrots and cream of mushroom sauce. Served with a Rocket Beet side salad. My wife did not like that her salad was served on the same plate as her pie since it was unavoidable that the dressing would end up touching her pie. I chose the Chicken Pie for $14: chicken, onions, garlic, red potatoes, peas, carrots and a cream sauce. Served with a Rocket Beet side salad. Comfort in each bite. We took a slice of Banana Bourbon Cream Pie to-go for $10. Admittedly, I'm not a banana cream pie lover (my wife is) and this slice didn't change my mind. Service was friendly and efficient. Overall, Pie Dive Bar is the perfect stop when craving comfort food.

I love the high ceilings and stage, it's a very comfortable experience for eating, games, or music. The cards were in a room in the back and weren't a main thing for the venue. The only downside of my exlerience there was the other patrons there for the tournement, never have I seen a more wretched hive of scum and villiany. If you're going there for games the rampant poor sportsmanship was unreal amd pervasive. No one I encountered could either win or lose graciously, and they want your money.

The atmosphere is fantasy-themed and incense-y, the service is prompt and helpful. Bar menu and specials are surprisingly unfocused and un-intriguing in such a creative place, but the taps are ok. Missing star for ill-kept restrooms. A solid three star place, but the engaged and upbeat service and local music give them that fourth star and my glad recommendation. If you've had enough of trucker hat uptight tighty-whitey Arlington for one day, relax here, enjoy a bite and bevvy, and take in some local music and cool vibes.

The Stanwood is as classic and historic as a dive bar can get, and you feel it in your bones here…read more You can almost see them, the echos of farmers, fishermen, lumberjacks and merchants from long ago bellying up to the worn, woody bar, playing cards at the tables, listening to music and local gossip as they smoked, spit and drank by the fireplace on dank northwest evenings of old. My memories here only stretch back a few decades, as a struggling musician playing the occasional show here back in the 90's and early Aughts, when they had local music nights. Stanwood seemed an exotic northern cowtown to this Seattle punk in those days. But the woody, ghosts-and-grit vibe enchanted me even then. Now it's a local hang. So cool. It's the only place in town with a pool table, and it's an uneven, wonderfully funky relic with mysterious, erm, attributes (mind the beam). There's an electronic dart board too, and a "beer garden" (read: outdoor area where you can smoke and drink) in warmer months, for those who haven't yet figured out that smoking is unhealthy and makes you stink. But: there it is. Adults only. Put your phone away. Talk to people. Eat and drink things that you probably shouldn't, and soak it in. The food is decent, no frills bar food, and your bartender (if you're lucky, Amy - she does a fine job) is usually also your cook, so have patience. The drinks are reasonably priced, and I recommend sticking with traditional mid-shelf cocktails and beer, and avoiding the foo-foo frozé stuff and sugary "specials". Those are just headaches in a glass, friend... For lovers of old, haunted places and classic dives, The Stanwood Hotel and Tavern is your huckleberry! Stop by, and see if you don't leave a little of your soul behind here too. You might see me and my gal shooting pool, and laughing about how the cue ball seems to wander off in its own sometimes, especially around that one old reddish stain...
