Finding a table for three on Valentine's Day without a reservation usually ends in heartbreak, but we lucked out here! Despite it being a busy holiday evening, we were seated immediately. The vibe was lively but comfortable, with most tables and the bar filled. Since we visited in February, we leaned heavily into their specials menu. We skipped the small plates and went straight for the mains: the Greek Salad with Steak, the Steak and Gorgonzola Flatbread, and the Vine Burger. Every dish was a hit, though my wife found the red wine vinaigrette on the salad to be just "okay" rather than great. For drinks, we stuck to the mocktails. We tried all three on the menu, and the Blueberry Mule (ginger beer based) was the undisputed winner. We'll have to come back for the cocktails another time since they looked promising! We capped the night with the Apple Blossom pastry with vanilla ice cream--it is a total "must-try." Overall, the service was courteous, the ambiance was spot-on, and parking was a breeze. Such potential! Went for lunch. Didn't have a cocktail but saw several made. They looked good. Service wasn't very good. Not sure why, it wasn't busy. I had soup and salad. The soup of the day was fantastic. A sausage, potato and kale soup. Warm, comforting and delicious! The salad was somewhat disappointing. I ordered the quinoa kale salad, with a citrus vinaigrette. There was a little quinoa and kale on top of a large amount of romaine. Not what I expected. It was also served stuffed into a small, tall sided bowl with the dressing on the side. How exactly are you supposed to dress it and eat it? My friend had the burger and fries. The burger was half the size of the bun. She literally removed 50% of the bun. It was also extremely well done. The fries were cold. They don't have decaf coffee, but I was able to order mint tea. It was brought in a cup that smelled like old coffee. The table had been cleared and I had no napkin and he didn't bring one with the tea. There was a slice of lemon I didn't want and I had no place to put it. There is potential here, I hope they pay more attention to providing a quality experience and food. read more

We had our work Christmas party/lunch here. The atmosphere was inviting and the food was delicious, especially the bacon jam they use on their burgers/sandwiches! Stopped by this little gem to meet a friend who loves wine. I enjoy wine but prefer a local brew. While they didn't have an overwhelming amount of beer options, they have many bottled national brands and a few microbrews on tap. It wasn't a big selection, but I think most would find something among what was offered to be satisfied. What surprised me was the food. We had a Mediterranean chicken flat bread, spinach artichoke dip and brie wrapped in pastry topped with bacon jam. Absolutely everything was great! I spoke with the staff and they said all the breads were even made in house. I am not normally big on brie, but I could hardly keep myself from theirs! Staff was great, always attentive, quick service and never for a moment felt lacking in any area. Me and my friend came here to get food and drinks. They both were amazing, delicious taste. The thing I had an issue with was the awful service from our server. Long black hair, younger girl. She was disgustingly rude to my friend when he asked for the steak, she asked which one like there were multiple on the menu but it was the only one? And then he was asked which side he wanted and he asked which sides were available. She rudely pointed out the super small print at the top of the menu and looked at us like we were just born yesterday. She never once came to check up on us, ignored our empty water glasses which at that point the bartender came out to give us more water and apologized. I'm not sure what that girls issue was but I was picking up on weird energy from her the entire time. My Husband and I just left this restaurant absolutely full and completely satisfied! We decided to look for a new little spot since I had the day off and we stumbled across this place on the map. We had reservations for a few couples and were excited to try this wine bar. Initially we were impressed with the wine list but we had to start going through the list and having our server check if they had those bottles. After 2 times of her doing so she came back saying one they did have and that was thankfully choice #3 for us so we happily ordered (and it was DEFINITELY not a "settle for the third choice" wine). Another couple had ordered a bottle before us and the wrong one was brought over so we got that straightened out. Soon a charcuterie plate was brought to the table which we hadn't ordered, but rather a cheese plate (one person with us was vegetarian so meat touching the cheese was no bueno). We ended up keeping it anyway. In general there was confusion over any of the food brought over and whether it was ours or another table's order. We had a good mix of much of the food offerings. The truffle fries were disappointing. They didn't look burnt but tasted burnt and they were so crunchy vs crispy that they were flavorless. Brussel sprouts were delicious. Normally I like them crispy but these were delicious and loved the addition of sweet potato. Blue cheese dates were also very good. Others with us thought the flatbreads were so-so and the crackers with the cheese plate were very buttery and not well paired. We were all surprised that the Brie en Crōute didn't come with crackers and while good, wasn't what any of us expected. What was rough for us was the service. It was very slow and inattentive and we couldn't quite figure out why. I also noticed the bottle of wine I was sharing with someone had the foil left jagged at the top. I didn't draw attention to this but later in the night another couple that had a bottle showed me the same on his. It was so disappointing and didn't really fit the whole vibe of a wine bar with a great wine list. It made us wonder if training of employees is an issue here when I put together our whole evening. I still think this is probably one of the best places to eat in this part of town although I tried hard to curb my disappointment with the menu execution. I ordered take out, so I can only comment on the food quality and value. You're in good hands if you're into balsamic vinegar reduction glaze, they pair it with everything and heavily rely on that elevating the flavor profiles. The brussle sprouts and squash seemed to be over steamed.. or boiled even? and very soggy. The balsamic glaze was appreciated here for flavor but the texture was a bit to suffer through. The bacon wrapped dates packed a heavy punch of bold flavors so the balsamic glaze wasn't as necessary as with the bland brussels. They were over cooked so the glaze was appreciated to balance out the dryness but they were almost too zingy for my mouth to handle, all those flavors packed together. A previous review commented they are the Applebees of wine bars. I couldn't agree more, it hit the mark better than the menu descriptors would lead you to believe. 3.5 Rare kid free night and the husband and I decided to grab a small plate or two while we were out. We'd never been here and it seemed cute, so let's check it out. Noise level was pretty high, lots of chatter and happy customers and the only seat available was at the end of the bar nearest to the kitchen. It was easy to notice that only one employee had a mask. The bartenders, wait staff, cook .. all without any face coverings. Even the owner came in and worked without a mask. If that makes you uncomfortable, I'd skip it. The food was meh.. my crispy Brussels were soggy, and so piled with other stuff I couldn't get the Brussels. Husband got bread and oil, and a baked brie.
