Have been coming here for a few months and it's always hit or miss. They're not there during hours listed on door, one of the ladies always has a terrible attitude and almost feels like you're bothering them. Excellent threading- but lacking customer service. Each time I've been there Jamila has hardly uttered a word to me or she has been on the phone. Jamila is the best I've been to so many places but I keep going back to her because she does really good job.

I am so glad my first eyebrow threading experience was here at Jamila's salon. The process took a fraction of the time a wax does, and didn't leave my forehead red and irritated. The price was steeper than waxing, but definitely worth it. I'll be going back for sure. Jamila is professional, courteous and just really sweet. This is a CASH ONLY shop though, so best to stop by an ATM before your appointment, or you'll have to use the shop's ATM which charges $2.50 to oull out cash. read more

I called late on a Saturday afternoon and they told me to come on in. The ladies are super nice, she was really fast and it didn't hurt like a lot of other threading has. She explained what she was doing and was very thorough. She told me what to do to grow my brows fuller and how to fill them in properly. I first learned of Jamila a few years back when I complimented my friends brows. She swore by jamila and threading and named off at least 3 other friends that also see Jamila. (All with great brows) I live in Monterey so I didn't even consider driving to Santa Cruz to have my brows done. My sister has always struggled with her brows. The shape, the length, them being too thin. It was what Jamila did to my sisters brows that convinced me that I needed an appointment. Luckily she moved to Watsonville so it's only a 40 min drive now lol but, she is worth every minute. She is always busy but, the wait is never long. Usually 5-10 mins. She is fast with shaping but a perfectionist so my brows always look perfect after seeing her. Jamila definitely under values her skill and ability. She only charges $10 for brows and could easily be charging $15 or more and still have a huge clientele. If you have been struggling with your brows or are just looking to have them done I HIGHLY recommend Jamila. I promise you won't be disappointed. She is worth the drive, twice the amount she charges, and 3x the wait. read more
