They did both hands and feet for me with stunning designs, clearly incorporated what I said I was looking for, and worked SO quickly. They finished (admittedly smaller than some bridal henna I've seen, only to just past my wrists) in maybe 2.5 hours, and took another hour/hour and a half to complete 8 or so smaller designs. Their pricing was extremely reasonable, much less than other artists and the quality was unbeatable. I left the paste on for about 4 or 5 hours, but the paste was getting itchy and I knew I wouldn't be able to sleep with it on, so I took it off after that time, and still got a beautiful dark stain that lasted for about a week. If it makes sense for you, I definitely recommend scheduling your henna in the morning so you can leave the paste on for more of the day to get an even darker stain, but mine was gorgeous even after just a few hours.

Hiral did my Mehndi party and even did a separate day just for my hands and arms to help accommodate my crazy pre-wedding schedule. One of the things I love most about Hiral is that she is a true artist - I showed her a few photos, noting what I liked/didn't like, and she completely took it from there. I had looked at a few other henna artists in the Bay area, but they all seemed overpriced and of lesser quality (Hiral makes her own henna cones and gives great after care instructions). I'm so thankful Hiral was able to fit me in! In addition to being an mazing artist, I really loved Hiral as a person. To fit everything into our schedule, I ended up going to her house for my hands/arms. My mom (who was totally exhausted from all the wedding planning etc.) was going to nap in the car, but Hiral insisted that she come inside and nap on the couch. While my mom napped, Hiral talked me through what to expect in my upcoming wedding. As a Caucasian American having a Hindu ceremony (and all the events that come before it), I was completely overwhelmed at the time. Hiral was so sweet and kind - my mom and I still talk about how wonderful and calming she was - exactly what we needed in the midst of the pre-wedding chaos. I have gotten Mehendi (henna) done several times in my life but never anything as neat as this. If I can suggest anything when you book an appointment, it's that you should let her freehand or pick for you! Her designs are so intricate and she knows what she's doing -- you can possibly get something that hasn't been put on anyone else. That's what she did with me and I absolutely loved how it turned out. I couldn't stop looking down at my hands! The first 2 photos with red nails were from when I got henna done by her for the first time. The photo with my champagne nails had two designs: one was done for a wedding and the other hand was done as an Eid design as we were celebrating Eid that same weekend.
