My friends and I went to this bar and were accused of having fake id's because he had never seen a Kentucky ID and they were in good condition (we're all 22). The bouncer wanted to see our Snapchat or Facebook and look at our settings to find our birthday on there. We asked him why and he wouldn't give us an answer, but told us that it'll tell him if they're fake. He also pulled a stack of supposed fakes out of his pocket. We were in Clearwater Beach this weekend, stopped in here for 1 drink. I had the blonde ale on tap, one of the most oxidized beers I've had in 2021. No sourness from lacto or pedio in the lines, just oxidized. If I owned a bar I would try the taps once a day. read more

The bouncer allows underaged people in as long as they pay him. When confronted about these things he chose to silence me with force, leaving multiple bruises on my arm. I will be contacting management tomorrow about this incident. This place was so much fun! My wife and I went for karaoke night. This place is your average beach bar with an interesting environment! This place doesn't look the greatest, but it certainly lots of fun! Jamminz is walking distance from the beach as well. The drinks are good and they have a pretty decent food menu, although I didn't order anything. The staff was pretty friendly although I did wait awhile for my drink a few times even though they wasn't too busy. Great dive bar went there with my girlfriend around 6 to get away from the crowd and it had everything I was looking for multiple TVs, some cooling fans, and cold beer most importantly. It's is a 21+ environment and not suitable for children. I would definitely go back to Jamminz for a late night dive bar adventure. read more

They called and apologized that it was a mistake and that my order is on the way and that I just needed to send the order again. Do not go to this bar. Almost had to call the cops because the bouncer took mine and two of my friends ID's even though we are all of age. We each had at least 2 alternate forms of ID but that wasn't enough for him. He made each of us pull out our phones and pull up our Facebook or Twitter pages. He even took one of my friends phone from him and started scrolling through it to find his birthday. Once we finally were allowed in we did not even want to be there anymore. Jamminz is thee place to be in Clearwater beach. Relax and listen to some live music, while enjoying only thee hottest drink specials on the island. After about 9pm it does tend to attract a younger crowd, which isn't a bad thing especially if you're in your 20's looking for a good time! The staff as well as the people are superb! Visited Clearwater Beach this weekend. This is a great place to just go and drink and very reasonable prices. Very laidback and the new Owner Pete was awesome! Always used to love this place, great vibes, pretty chill. However, I tried to go to Jamminz last night for a stop on New Year's Eve. After I had gotten into the facility with no problems at all and was waiting to order my drink, a woman came up to me and asked if I had my ID on me. I thought this was pretty weird but nonetheless, i pulled out my ID and handed to her. Upon which she started fast walking towards the door. Alarmed and without my government issued identification, I started trying to look for the woman, wondering if she even actually worked there due to her unprofessionalism and how shady she was acting. I was able to find her and asked if I could have my ID back to which she retorted "No, I'm going to check this," and started walking the other way. To avoid being involved in a similar incident that happened to me a few months back in which my ID was stolen by an employee at a bar, I told her I was going to follow her. She rolled her eyes and proceeded to the bar while I handed her another form of ID, shocked that there was any issue. Immediately upon going behind the bar and handed off my belongings to a male bartender and begun bad talking me while I could still hear her, yelling about how I gave her attitude and how the man would have to deal with me because she "just couldn't." After this incident, I was escorted out of the bar. Once outside, I asked why I was being escorted out when I was about to buy a drink and had done nothing wrong. The man replied that I had attitude with the woman and had to leave due to this. I explained what had happened, how she ran off with my ID so I was alarmed, but he replied that she was just coming to him to check the ID, even thought she ran towards the entrance/exit of the facility originally. He had no response to that and just told me to leave. I highly suggest that this business reconsiders their hiring process. I had never seen that girl at Jamminz before and I don't know if she was a new hire, but this experience was terrible enough for me to decide to never come here again. While Jamminz used to be a place that I would recommend to everyone I knew visiting Clearwater, these friends will now be warned and urged to stay far away from this bar. I would not recommend coming here if you are trying to have a good time with no drama as my experience with two of the employees exhibited that they seek out drama at the workplace when they are bored. read more

We are locals in our 50s so we don't go here for the night partying which we've been told is a much younger crowd. We're not into the crowded bar scenes, been there done that. We go here to watch some sports on the many tvs they have inside. We are non-smokers, and the bar is designed to allow perimeter smoking where the smoke is blown outward, so you don't smell smoke while inside. Terrible bartender! Pete is a bald guy who bartends. My friend and I were minding our own business when a drunk girl decided to start throwing ice at other customers and then dumped water on my friend! I told the bartender he should do something about it and he tried to kick ME out!!! I could not believe what I was hearing and started to argue the situation. The next thing I know that drunk girl slammed her cup of water right upside my head. Made a huge scene and everyone saw it. AWFUL! ABSOLUTELY AWFUL! NEVER GO. This place is a joke. We were down visiting family and friends and looking to have a fun night out. We went to several other bars up and down Mandalay and were having a great night. That quickly changed 5 minutes after walking into this bar. A family, some of which appeared to be clearly underage, was at the outdoor bar. We ordered our drinks and someone in our party bumped into a member of that family on accident (outdoor area was a bit crowded). Several apologizes were said and we went on having a good time. The family there seemed to have other plans for the night and kept trying to start a right. After being told several rude things we decided it was time for us to leave and avoid any unnecessary drama. As we we were leaving the bar we explained to the bouncer that this particular family was trying to start fights. The bouncer then proceed to tell us, "you guys probably want to leave because you don't want to fight that family, they are here all the time." We immediately wondered why the bouncers were aware of this family yet still allowed them in knowing that they start fights. As some who lived in Clearwater for 25 years I would NEVER step foot in this bar again let alone suggest it to anyone.
