Went here while on. Action with my kiddos. The reason for 4 stars is the customer service especially with two youngsters. Our waitress was so sweet, patient and made sure our littles were taken care of. With that alone, you got me! We had the lot version of the breakfast burger, trash can nachos and the crispy chicken wrap. The wrap was a little disappointing because the chicken tender wasn't hot but other than that everything else was great. The burger and nachos shine. You have plenty of options for your side and we decided on French fries and veggies! Both were sooooooo good. The veggies had a ton of flavors and the veggie of the evening with squash, zucchini, and onions. And the french fries were crispy hot and seasoned really well. While we have our usual spots for football we decided to try something new. - Lots of TVs that can accommodate both indoor and outdoor seating. - There are two decent size bars so for those that enjoy sitting at the bar to watch the game, this place hits the mark. - The buffalo cauliflower was much better than we expected. Fewer and fewer places seem to carry this menu item and it's one that would have us come back. The onion rings and Cesar salad were also quite tasty. The boneless wings were simply ok, next time I'll go for bone in. - The clientele was a bit rowdy but for me, it's Sunday football, and I prefer loud loyal fans than none at all. - Service was strong. Really great bar, it's on Mandalay Ave, across from the beach. We parked at the north beach parking plaza, spent the day at the beach, checked into our hotel (7 minutes from the bar) and took an Uber to the Brown Boxer. The bathrooms are very clean. This place attracts a nice crowd of beach going locals it seems. Our bartenders were incredibly sweet and attentive, very nice to talk to. We were served by Jarae and Kendra. It was delicious. I love the beignets. Just as good as Cafe de Munde in New Orleans. I just came fr eating a Grouper fish and was still full so I had a bloody Mary and a healthy swiss bliss omelette. Had grits since a long time. I usually don't care for grits but this time since I am in the south I would try it again as a side dish. It was Meh ok. Food was the best I have eaten on the strip. Went there 4 times during my week stay to try a little bit of everything. Frenchys grouper sandwich stands no chance against theirs. We had just sat down and received our beverages and all of a sudden my daughter fainted hitting her head on a table causing an injury. The staff was phenomenal and knew exactly what to do and sprung into action. this has been my favorite place for so long until tonight. my little sister literally got slapped in the face by a customer because he would not start flirting with her and she told him to stop. I kindly asked him to remove himself from the situation, and he proceeded to tell me that he would "slap my shit up if I kept telling him to stop. after this, we went to security right away to let them know of the encounter. to summarize this encounter with security, the security guards told us that they "did not trust us" and called us bitches. The bartenders were so kind and did not skip a beat for anyone. But overall, this place did not feel safe at all. It totally Might've just been the wrong night to go, because as I said this has been my favorite place to go have fun. At the end of the day we should not have been physically hurt, and then also not been taken seriously by a select few of the security guards - it was definitely not all of them - I will tell who was good and bad. Was visiting my mother in law, who was vacationing in Clearwater Beach. We came across this place and wanted to watch the game. The food was ok but I wish I would've seen how dirty the place was before eating! The ceiling fans have inches of dust on them and they are above your table! The bathroom is falling apart and gross.
