My wife and I stopped in here on our first trip down to Clearwater for her 42nd birthday on a Sat eve at 11p and we had a great time. The DJ was awesome and playing a lot of good 90s hits. The bouncer and security did their job professionally and removed some guy who was getting angry. There was a very small dance floor and 8-10 people dancing. Worst experience in a bar of my life. The bouncers have a side buisness. I and friends tried to get in (22,21, 26 and 27) they first asked for my ID, than I needed to give my school ID, my debit AND credit card to prove it. Than went to my friend. The bouncer rose a finger and another large bouncer came up and took all of us aside. He checked all of our ID's and said one was fake (not). He than proceeds to tell us he is either going to call the cops or that my friend meet him in 5 minutes behind Subway with $50 to get the ID back. It was horrible. The bouncers had a side buisness of taking ID's and threatening people to get them back by paying them. We proceeded to tell them to call the cops since it's real, they gave it back and told us to get the F out of there. The night after saw a bouncer beating up a guy in the ally. SKETCHY and HORRIBLE. Somethings up with this place. 3 friends and I approach the door and show our IDs. the door man, along with another employee were meticulously checking our IDs, and seemed to be suspecting they are fake or something. We all are from Ohio on vacation, and I understand the responsibility of not allowing minors in, but I am 27 years old, my friends 26 &22. I would say we look of age, and we look good.... these people tried to take our IDs, and the employees even threatened to call the police. At which point I offered to show an alternate form of ID, before we all just decided we didn't want the trouble, and the bar seemed lame anyways. The weirdest part is that one of the doorman suggested that we "come to the side, I wanna show you somethin" ---what? What could you possibly be showing me over there? Seems sketchy to me, someone should probably look into what they do to people "on the side". Had a lot more fun down at some other great establishments nearby. read more

3 people in our all female group were drugged in this bar by a patron at the bar. They have cameras up everywhere. Someone followed me into bathroom and a bouncer came in and yelled for him to leave and stood with the door open while I finished. Clearly because they saw it on the camera. When we filed police report they told police the cameras didn't work and wouldn't cooperate with police to turn over camera footage. The manager didn't return my call the next day when I report 3 of our people had been drugged. Police report its notorious spot for this type of incident. So if your up for that hit up Jamminz beach bar! Horrible bar. Stay away. They should be shit down. Terrible reputation for Clearwater Beach. Makes us never want to come back. read more

Despite my best efforts, I'm gonna be a little crotchety and holier-than-thou... this bar is ridiculous; we stepped in after multiple people insisted we go here, after bar-hopping along Mandalay, and come on... obnoxious club music, adorable, super young bartenders (one of whom called me "babydoll," which was pretty awesome), bleach-blondes for days and dudes decked out in their polo shirt-and-pastel shorts best... it's definitely a scene that I was never part of, and definitely am not now. If you're around 21 years of age and into getting white girl wasted, please, by all means, go here. If you don't ever need to hear Lil Jon ever again because you have vivid memories of him being popular, and you don't want to sit around in a space that amounts to a more festive jail cell, do not waste your time. I don't even remember how much anything costs because I was so contact-drunk from merely stepping foot inside. It was crowded and loud in all the worst ways.
