To sip on, I had a skinny peach crush refresher (alcoholic) which was light and very refreshing. The staff were super friendly and always checked on us. It's located in the downtown Clearwater Beach district but, they have 3 locations, I thought I would have ended up at the Indian rocks location (GPS Playing games) this location was fine though. It's an outdoor Tiki Style spot with signature drinks which are very delicious. Keep-in-mind this is down town so, parking is minimal. For my drink(s) I got an The OriGinal Orange Crush Of course! Fresh squeezed Florida oranges with Coco's own premium orange vodka, triple sec, and a splash of lemon-lime soda. This was VERY DELICIOUS and REFRESHING!! If you buy a Tumbler, your first drink is free, with $9.00 refills that follows behind! I enjoyed the Philly Cheesesteak Egg-rolls that were really good. There is a nice Queso Dip you can dunk them in YUM! Our waitress was very polite and her customers service was really good! I asked her what she recommended and she was spot on! My husband and friends we were in town with are all from Maryland, so this is what got us in! Come to find that the menu had lots of Maryland style food as well! Coco's Crush Bar was a fun time. Outside is a relaxed atmosphere with umbrellas, high tops and fans. You can elect to sit inside at the bar if you like also. Bartender was friendly, food was reasonable for the area and drinks were yummy. I loved the crushed ice. I need that ice machine at home. I stuck to the specialty drink of the day Ghost Crush which was only $8.95. Really sweet and good. This would be a great place to chill with friends in the evenings. Really cute outdoor restaurant by the beach. This is a couple blocks over from the beach, but well within walking distance. We came at 11 a.m. after being on the beach and were the only ones here. It's open air inside by the bar or outside, but in May it didn't feel overly hot. Lots of tables with shade. This is definitely a beach bar with beach bar drinks. I ended up getting a skinny grapefruit crush and it was pretty good. Nothing spectacular, but I felt healthy drinking it. My husband got a margarita and it was pretty good as well. They do have a kids menu and it came on an orange frisbee, which was a fun touch. The mac and cheese looks like kraft mac and cheese from the box, so the frisbee made me feel better about paying that price. My son got a chicken sandwich with fries and it was decent. Coco's was located right outside the hotel I was staying at, which made it super convenient. They do have some inside seating, but most of the space is outside in the open air. When I arrived, I was greeted right away and asked if I wanted to sit at the bar or a table. I chose a table. You also gotta show your ID. That area has a police presence. That night, there was police at the door. There was a band playing that night (and every night after that), and they let me know my table would be far from the band which I was completely okay with. I ended up sitting at a huge booth, and I liked that I could see the restaurant widely from where I was. My server came by maybe five minutes later. Since the place is known for being the home of the crush, I asked which one she recommended. She suggested the Black Cherry Lime Crush and I really loved it. It tasted like juice, so I finished it quickly. Be warned though, the cup is a bit misleading. It had a lot of ice, so it felt like there was less drink than expected. Still, I ordered another one, the Strawberry Lemonade Crush, which was also good. For food, I had the saucy shrimp and the steak and cheese rolls. The shrimp had just the right amount of sauce and spice. The steak was seasoned well. The band playing was also pretty good and added to the vibe. Service was good and attentive. The only downside for me was feeling overstimulated at times, with sounds coming from different directions. If that's something that could bother you, I'd suggest not going at night. Also, since the restaurant was right under my hotel room, I could hear the music every night past 1 a.m. If you're staying in the area, keep that in mind. read more

Stopped by here after our dolphin boat tour for a quick bite to eat before heading to the airport. It was our first time in Clearwater and we saw the good reviews on Yelp so we were excited. This has to be one of the worst locations possible. Service way below average and downright rude. Place was a 1/3 full and bartender could have cared less. Flipped menus at us at bar, was beyond slow asking for drinks, quality of drink was worst in area then demands we pay and close with her after only being there 10 minutes if that. After she gives us our bill it is the group next to us and says she was rushing to get out and off work. Tells us she voided the tab but could take 7 business days to reflect on our card. We left our drinks and just walked out. Beyond that the place is dark, musty and sticky. Sticky floors, bar tops, and surly attitude to mix up the haze of ick. Remainder of staff just playing on phones blocking entry exit ways not caring about anything. Looks like a previous review 3 days ago involving the same bartender, Tiffany, was posted with basically the same issue. I don't think it would matter. Whole place seemed to have an IQ of less than 10 and non caring to max! What's weird is the place that is its sister bar up the road is fantastic. Best service from greeters, to bartender to bar manager. All of them get an A plus! Couldn't give higher grades. Food, service and bar itself is wonderful. This place is a good time for food and live music while you eat / socialize (after 8pm is the music), so I do give it props for that in a beach town. However - it is overpriced for drinks.. if you do plan to get a mixed drink you might as well get the bucket that you don't think you need, because the drinks are like water and they're $13.95 a piece, even though you won't know that until you get the check. The buckets are $15 and (I don't know from experience), but I would HOPE they're worth their weight in the alcohol vs the regular mixed drinks. I genuinely was thinking this must be a virgin drink, no way there is alcohol in it lol ANYWAY, aside from that, the food is decent.
