1) Jam's Cafe located in a well situated strip mall. So there's plenty of parking and seating. 2) The food was great, slightly higher than average - but well worth. I truly hate paying more for less quality. 3) We had breakfast. Wife had liver. was well prepared, not overcooked and they served 2 pieces. I had a bacon quesadilla- and it was good and filling. Last time I checked. French toast was made with cinnamon, the hash brown had no seasoning what so ever, taste like you biting into a potato, eggs are sunny side up and they didn't cook them very well yolk still cold. Amazing food, service, music level and genre! Patty was very good with refills and checking on us. She was perfect. The food, well, what can I say? The hubby and I ate everything on our plate! As we were getting ready to leave, the whole staff was cleaning. Not just around the booths but actually pulling them away from the wall and cleaning behind them. We went for breakfast because the reviews were mostly positive, however, that was not the case for us. I ordered a hungry man's breakfast, with 2 pancakes, two sausage links, bacon, 2 eggs over medium, and hash browns. My wife ordered 2 scrambled eggs, and two pancakes. I had coffee, my wife a glass of milk. My wife's scrambled eggs were over-cooked and dry, my eggs were not cooked over medium, as I asked, but were over easy with runny whites on top. My sausage was way over cooked, and both our pancakes were cold. The service was ok, I had to keep getting the waitress' attention to fill my coffee cup. The food was not good at all. This was without a doubt the worst breakfast places in Spring Hill. Our total bill with tip was a few cents under $40. We definitely will not be back. read more

Just a little spot in the corner of a strip mall but what a hidden gem!! Friday is all you can eat fish & chips . It was so crispy and light without a bit of grease . Hubby had a half pastrami/ half corned beef sandwich. It was huge and delicious ! Service was absolutely perfect never had to look for our waitress once . It first visit was for breakfast it was great. 2 visit was lunch. Not so great. Had a BLT almost nothing one piece of lettuce one slice of tomato and what appears to be two crumbled slices of bacon. Tried this for the first time today and it will definitely be our last. There were bugs on the table the toast had so much butter you couldn't eat it and the pancakes were hard. The service was non existent. They acted as if they were mad you were there for breakfast. Paid way to much for what we were able to eat. read more

Your typical "hole in the wall" family restaurant. Debbie our host was wonderful. She was very knowledgeable. I ordered the breakfast sausage croissant sandwich with a side order of home fries and it was DA BOMB!!! I most definitely would recommend it and order it again and again. Never heard about or knew about Jams Cafe until it became one of the only places to order breakfast during the COVID pandemic. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality food I received, even after it took a little time to get to my home! Our meals were hot and appetizing, as if we were sitting in the restaurant! CHECK YOUR BILL - FOR OVERCHARGE! Good service, good food, clean restaurant BUT.......... Check your bill! They charged us $34.38 for a $22.00 bill - See hand written bill and then see the itemized receipt that I had to specifically ask for. If I hadn't looked for it ( because the same thing happened the previous time I was there) I would have paid 33% more than my actual bill. About $11 more. They also charge an up-charge ($1.00) for egg whites and although I'm ok with an upcharge for cheese in the omelet (.65) and for Substituting toast with an English muffin (.50) I can't say I approve of the dollar upcharge for separating a yolk (which they get to keep and use in their other omelettes anyway); particularly when I'm already paying $7.45 for a veggie omelette. So, in summary, the service is good, the food is delicious, but the prices are not reasonable and the business practices are questionable. Decide for yourself. If this "error" on my charges hadn't happened two out of two visits to this place...... I'd have given it five Stars. The food was really delicious and very nicely prepared and our server for the most part efficient and pleasant. read more

Possibly the best little breakfast place Ive found in Spring Hill. Great prices, food always cooked right. They even ask you if you want onions in your home fries, that's a first for me! Pancakes were awesome, and the service was quick and friendly. I'm from NY, so I got a biscuit and it was great. Soft, fluffy, so big I couldn't finish it. We wound up going there 3 days of our 5 day stay. Next time I'm in Spring Hill, I'll definitely be back.
