Been going here ever since I was little with my grandma. We took a couples years off from picking blueberries. We came back this year and some things have changed but still how I remember it. They only do blueberry picking now and they have sheep that you can feed instead of goats. They have plenty of rows of blueberries that are always filled with fresh large multiple blueberries to pick from. Super cute, family friendly, something to do on the weekend. Jane was super helpful, telling us how things are now after they retired, and Covid. Even though this says they take cards they actually don't and only do cash. read more

We live nearby in Needham and wanted to find a small farm with awesome blueberries and boy did we hit the jackpot here. The berries were gigantic and easy for little kids to pick. Here's the thing about Jane and Paul's, if you're an out of towner driving into the "country" looking for a "farm experience", this is not your place. The fact that they don't have a website should tell you that you shouldn't come here for your farm experience. Yes, they have blueberries practically falling off the bush, pumpkin, and apple picking. Yes they have the sweetest corn you'll ever eat..And yes they have animals... but this is not your farm experience kind of place. There are no frills here and it is intentional. They don't want to be your family's destination location. For that you should go down the road to tangerini's farm OR better yet, head over to lookout farm in natick. They cater to lots of tourists looking for a good ol' farm experience. They would be happy to take you and (dare I say it... ) your bratty kids on a hayride. You can touch all of the gords you want. (They make sure those are the ones that that the animals have peed on before putting them out to be touched. Lol) I like Jane and Pauls farm. My kids like it here too. They have great produce and they're a nice hard working couple managing a farm. They've been doing this long before farming became hip. If you appreciate what they are growing and respect their land, you would enjoy it here. The difference between here and other places is they are a full service working farm that is occasionally open to the public. As opposed to a farm open to the public that occasionally works. read more

I took my 2yrs old son last week for quick apple picking.. I think we went there on tuesday or wednesday. Based on the Yelp review, I expect the fresh fruits and animal farm..but in reality, many apples were rotten or unriped..also so many apples were on the ground so there were ton of flies and bees. Good thing that I bought a small apple bag for $18 so we picked some fresh looking apples. Overall, this farm seems very intimate and local farm so if anyone interesting to bring your kids for fall activities, don't expect the big animal farm nor apple based pastries or desserts.. read more

No website, so you gotta call to find out what berries are available and what the conditions are for picking. Today we headed to another farm nearby that stated the blueberry picking was open and good (on their facebook page.) There were tons of unripe berries and it took forever to pick a couple of pounds. We were so disappointed. On the way home, we saw a sign for Upick and followed it to check out what was there. We ended up at Jane and Paul's farm. We we arrived there was just a handful of people in the field and I stopped someone who was headed back to the store to ask how the berry picking was. He said there were tons and he was right! They provided us with buckets, so we returned ours to the car and headed down to the fields. The rows where we should pick were clearly marked and there so many berries that we picked almost 8 pounds in less than an hour. We could literally hold the bucket under the blueberry bunches and just knock them in. We normally pick at The Big Apple in Wrentham. They are only open on Tuesday and Saturday for picking though. Usually the conditions are good, but never this good. The Big Apple also uses nets to keep out the birds (understandable), but the holes are too big and birds are often stuck or hurt. Once we had to get someone with a ladder to help rescue one. That certainly detracts from our enjoyment there. There are no nets here at Jane and Paul's. They did have some blow up beach ball type devices with large circles/eyes which seemed to do the job. I should get some for our house as birds ate every last one of cherries before they were ripe! I definitely wouldn't hesitate to go back to Jane and Paul's. It is a well kept secret. read more

Fair warning! Save your money and DO NOT support this business. I'm all about locally owned, small business but this must be reported. The owner has a problem with children and continually admonished my child for touching her produce. "Stooop! Just stoooop!" She yelled. When I said I was going to post a review based on our treatment, she replied "no one will believe you!" Astonishingly rude way to treat a customer! I've never had a complete stranger discipline my child. I was gobsmacked! I've since spoken to friends who have also reported similar rude treatment. If you scroll down to one of the unrecommended reviews- you will see very similar complaints. Farms are sensory experiences and children being constantly reprimanded does not make a happy experience. Clearly she cares more about her precious gords then she does her customers. Then I hope her gords make her happy bc she has several less customers. read more

Hay ride + corn maze is $5 pp. we got two large, one medium and one small pumpkins for $25, and a small bag of apples for $20. They also have cider donuts. We came here after we went to Tangerini's because they had no more apples for picking. It is cash only but you will find peace instead of chaos at this little farm. read more

Owner was not very personable at all. We took our family from out of town and they were disappointed. We will go elsewhere next fall. Would have loved to have seen some other amenities (cider donuts, coffee and cocoa, etc) Def not a place we will make a family tradition out of visiting. Warning - childhood memory ruined by rudeness! We have been going to this farm every year since our children were small. My son is now 23 so that is a long time. We are aware of the cash only policy and have traditionally spent approximately $70 each year mostly on pumpkins, produce and the corn maze. It is a long standing tradition in our family. Our daughter was home from college for fall break and very much looking forward to our visit. Each year, she would have her photo taken with her dad on the little bridge in the corn maze. This year the corn maze is in a different place. We were wandering around looking for the bridge and were yelled at by an older man who was incredibly nasty and just wouldn't stop yelling at us because we had no apple bags. He kept asking if we had seen the sign but we did not - perhaps because we were lost in our pleasant memories and looking for the bridge. If he had suggested nicely, we certainly would have gone in for a bag but he was so rude, he ruined the experience. My daughter loves to support small businesses but refused to spend any money there due to his rudeness. We left without pumpkins or going through the corn maze. We understand that they have rules but there are better ways of expressing them. read more

Awesome farm stand where they grow their own organic veggies. Their fruit is amazing (note the address on Fruit street - coincidence? I don't think so.) You can pick your own pumpkins, apples, strawberries, etc. (in their respective seasons of course...!) You can feed their animals and romp in their fields. Visited J & P today for the first time in 2-3 years with our elementary school daughter. What a great morning. Apple picking was easy, apples were plentiful and five varieties were available. We did sample an apple each while we picked and saw many others doing the same without any raised eyebrows. When we purchased our bag before picking the guy simply told us just not to throw the cores on the ground if we samples but rather to use the trash barrels. It didn't take long to fill up the 1/2 bushel bag. We took the tractor ride out to pick a few pumpkins and enjoyed that as well - Paul himself was driving the tractor which you have to respect. It's hard to imagine farming is an easy life so hats off to Jane & Paul. Of course the chickens, turkeys and goats were a big hit - and for just a quarter you can get a handful of food to feed them - she loved that. And let's not forget the corn maze - we had a nice time finding our way through it. One tip - they are a cash only business so bring plenty. Overall a great experience and way closer than much of the apple picking west/northwest. We will be back for sure. read more

First of all let me say my whole family loves Jane & Paul's Farm. We go there every Fall to pick apples, pumpkins, do the hayride and corn maze. Everything is fresh and delicious. The staff there are friendly and welcoming. My only complaint is the pricing. Last year the pumpkins were $.59 a pound! I might be able to justify that by saying, well you get the hayride too, but there is an extra fee for the hayride. Last year we went on the hayride but I didn't let the kids get their pumpkins there, we bought them somewhere else where they were $.19 a pound. I understand they need to cover the cost of the farm, but it was more than I was willing to spend on a pumpkin that would be thrown away in matter of weeks. read more

Always love coming to this farm with my mom and dad when i'm home. they have the freshest produce and it's a fun alternative to buying fruits and veggies at the supermarket. even when i'm away from home, my parents never hesitate to tell me during the summer that they are "heading to jane and pauls" for corn on the cob. read more

There should be a sign out front that reads, Children not welcome!!! I just returned from this farm after picking blueberries with a friend and our children. We had eight children between us. When we entered the store to get our pails, almost immediately, Jane the owner, told one of the kids not to touch a cucumber. I said nothing but read the rules for picking that she pointed to right away. After picking and paying for $52 worth of great blueberries, we went outside to feed the animals. Standard, 25 cents for a handful of feed. After we all put our quarters in and fed her animals she came over to my daughter and then to me to say that my daughter was trying to take extra feed from the machine. She was opening up the metal door trying to take the remaining bits on the bottom. Jane told me "it wasn't fair" and that "she was trying to force the machine." I looked in my daughters hand and saw a few grains but told her yes, just to stop. Before I left, I had to go back and say something about her demeanor towards the kids. I asked her if she wanted the quarter for the feed and she said, "sure!" Clearly Jane doesn't understand sarcasm or children. I told her the kids were well-behaved but that well they were kids and as a farm owner she might encourage their curiosity and I mentioned the cucumber. She said that they were banging the cucumber, which they most certainly were not. She told me that people wanted to buy those to which I wondered, "were those people allowed to touch the cucumbers??" She finished by closing the door in my face and telling me that "oh yeah, your kids never do anything wrong, I'm sure they are just wonderful" She had sarcastic down then...and borderline contempt. Loved coming here to do some excellent apple picking! Lots of kids enjoying the orchard and all the animals. They have nifty contraptions to feed the goats, which looked really fun for the kids. The apples were bountiful and delicious. The store had really yummy veggies and apple cider, and of course pumpkins. Would have been a 5-star review if they had apple cider donuts, which is a must for me for a successful apple picking day! Otherwise really great, and we'll definitely be back! read more

I've been buying corn there my whole life and it has always been fresh and sweet, never starchy. The animals are adorable and friendly and my nieces and nephews love seeing them. I shop at Jane and Paul's often and have NEVER seen Jane or any other person talk to anyone with anything but respect. Kids can be a pain in the neck in a store touching and playing with food that OTHERS are going to buy. The kids should be told to keep their hands in their pockets when in the store. So far as trying to get more food out of the machine. I am sure Jane did not stop her hard work to hassle your child unless your child was doing something that could harm her or others like getting her hand caught in the food machine and then YOU would blame Jane and Paul's for having the machine your little darling could stick her fingers/hand up to get more feed. Give it a rest, you kid sounds like she/he was misbehaving and expected YOU to straighten them out but without you doing it, what would you do IF you owned the farm, stand by and let you little darling get their hand caught or ruin the cucumber? I doubt it! Leave your kids home if you cannot control them. NO I do not work nor am I related to Jane or Paul, I am just a customer grateful for their wonderful produce and people like you make it unpleasant for the rest of us, that's all. read more
