Great full to Dr Frederick for helping us achieve getting pregnant. Love her bedside manner and all her staff goes above and beyond and are very helpful. I had appointments in her Fullerton, Laguna, and New Port location bc of the time frames I needed and everyone in each office was always friendly and helpful. Never did i encounter a bad experience. Since day one my husband and I always felt a good vibe from everyone that we cancelled our other appointments with fertility Drs . They are very hands on with you and are able to be reached via email or phone w in hours and answer all your questions. Would definitely recommend.

Dr. Frederick, thank you so much for getting us pregnant with twins! We will be forever grateful to you, HRC, Michelle, everyone at in the front and back office, as well as downstairs for our little second trimester miracles.

My experience at HRC fertility has been such a positive one. Dr Jane Frederick was instrumental in helping my pregnancy be successful. I had ovarian cancer 20 years ago and lost both ovaries. It was devastating to me to not be able to have children. When my husband and I went to HRC Fertility to begin this process, Dr. Frederick answered all of our questions and made us feel so positive and hopeful about the process. Because we used my sister as an egg donor she took extra care to ensure all of us felt at ease and understood the entire process. She also has an amazing staff of caring medical professionals who were always available to answer questions or address concerns. Our embryos were created in March 2018 and after genetic testing we ended up with 3 viable embryos! I implanted 1 embryo in may 2018 and our daughter Leah was born feb 4, 2019! We have also referred a few friends to Dr. Frederick and HRC fertility because of our experience. Thank you HRC FERTILITY!

I am writing this with my beautiful 3 week old newborn on my chest. What a blessing it has been to work with Dr. Frederick. She listened to my story, created a plan of action, gave me a discount for being a teacher, and helped me to create the best gift I've ever received. She listened to me during the early pregnancy and helped calm my fears. She is so wonderful.

I have a pretty unique infertility diagnosis and my experience with HRC and Dr. Frederick is so positive! I have PCOS and because of my hormone imbalance, I never have grown my eggs or ovulated on my own. After trying Clomid unsuccessfully with my OB, I came to HRC, anxious about whether or not I would ever be able to conceive. Dr. Frederick was very straightforward, but I appreciated that as I wanted to be realistic. After your initial consultation, you have to do a bunch of tests on certain days of your cycle, and then once I had another cycle we could begin treatment. Thankfully (since I don't get periods on my own), I had been on the pill--which, as odd as it sounds, they actually use to kick start treatment. We tried an IUI but it was cancelled because I wasn't growing any eggs on a higher dose of Clomid. The same day we cancelled it, I had a meeting with the IVF coordinator and got a schedule to start that immediately. It was a whirlwind, but I was so happy they were willing and able to do everything as fast as they could as I was just eager to understand my body. The nurses at the surgery center are great and they do egg retrievals day in and day out, so they made me feel really comfortable. Our first IVF transfer didn't work, so for the second transfer they sent me to a fertility acupuncturist (Dr. Lee). I wish I had gone to Dr. Lee before my first transfer as he helped me warm and circulate my body properly for the embryo to implant. With his help, and a few added treatments from HRC, we are successfully due with a baby boy in January! Dr. Frederick was wonderful. You spend most of your time with the different coordinators, but she was SO responsive if I ever had an emergency question via email. And if I ever had too many questions, she would schedule a phone call to help answer them all and calm my anxieties. When we did our ultrasounds to see the baby, she was so excited and celebratory, explaining everything. The coordinators were great too and always encouraged me to stay positive. We don't have any remaining embryos, but I will definitely be going back to HRC for our next IVF down the road!

I am still waiting for "a follow up call" weeks later once again so I feel it's finally time to share my horrible experience. Please note-- I rarely write reviews (this is probably my first one), but I feel it's important to share my experience given the sensitivity of fertility care. While Dr. Gazelle has an impressive background with degrees from Harvard and Stanford and is very knowledgeable with statistics, my overall experience was extremely disappointing and, honestly, disheartening. From the start, the practice felt disorganized and impersonal. Her staff was kind when you reached them, but there were no check-ins, no follow-ups, and not even confirmation that my appointments were on the calendar--I had to constantly call to make sure I was scheduled. I was doing more work than them. Every appointment required pre-payment in cash, even before a short five-minute Zoom call, and Dr. Gazelle was consistently 15-30 minutes late, both virtually and in person. The promised "concierge liaison" never followed up regarding my lab work. Again, I had to reach out 3x to get loaded into my portal and each time they were loaded wrong. If I wanted to review the results I had already paid for, I was required to book another appointment and pay an additional $125 just to have them explained. Oh and note, the doctor won't get on the call until the cc transaction has processed. Please also note I do not care about paying cash for great service or medical care. We are financially sound. But the way they demanded the funds were just weird. I am business owner and this isn't the correct etiquette. After only a few tests (which in my opinion were not thorough), she quickly labeled me as "unexplained infertility" and immediately steered the conversation toward IUI--while simultaneously telling me it probably wouldn't work--and then pushed IVF as the only real option. "You must be exhausted after a year of trying on and off-- IVF is probably the best easiest route for you now." (Manipulation tactic-- "exhausted".). I came to her for answers not a magic $30-60k procedure that also could fail. No answers were given as everything she found was extremely healthy and normal. Beyond the financial frustration, what hurt the MOST was the lack of compassion. Fertility treatment is already one of the most emotionally vulnerable journeys a person can walk through, and I felt unseen, unheard, and treated more like a number than a patient. What should be a supportive and hopeful process felt transactional and even fear-driven. My feedback: This clinic desperately needs better systems, better communication, and above all, better patient care. A strong degree means little without empathy, organization, and follow-through. I cannot in good conscience recommend this doctor, despite her impressive credentials.

I went to this clinic in 2023. I was treated less than a human being, which led to an emotionally…read morepainful experience. I spoke with Dr. Ghazal about the treatment I received and that I paid for services not rendered. I asked for a refund for services not done and she agreed to refund me. I was on the fence about doing another IVF cycle. She agreed to let me think about it before obtaining the refund, without a deadline. I decided to think about it for a while. I called the office in October of 2025 to ask for my refund that was agreed upon. No one has called me back. The receptionist stated she would pass my request on to the East Coast office that handles financial dealings. She said they should call me within two weeks. No one called back. I have made multiple attempts to speak to someone at the clinic who could assist. The only thing I have been able to do is leave messages with the receptionist that have NEVER been returned. They also didn't respond to my complaint with the BBB. IVF is an emotional rollercoaster. We are human beings, not dollar signs. Anyone who has gone through this knows how difficult it is. I have since found out from other specialists that the IVF cycle should not have been done until after I had a surgery that could have improved the outcome. Dr. Ghazal seemed kind at the time, but her staff were rude, especially in email communications. They had no problems returning my calls and emails when they were getting something out of it. I also think "certain" types of people were treated better. Do not go to this clinic. If you can afford the consultation fee at multiple clinics, do so. However, doing that is not a guarantee of good care. Some of these clinics put on a good show at your initial visit and then change for the worse. Choose a place you feel safe and cared about, at the very least. I am still hoping to get this matter resolved.

After three IUIs,…read moretwo egg retrievals, and five embryo transfers we have a 1.5 year old daughter, and now a baby boy on the way! We can say with complete confidence that we would not have our family without Dr. Anderson and his extraordinary team. What makes SCCRM special is not just the outcome--it's how they operate, which is increasingly rare in modern healthcare. Dr. Anderson is the foundation of this practice. His decades of experience and deep understanding of reproductive medicine set him apart. He does not follow cookie cutter protocols; every decision is individualized and intentional. He is methodical, conservative when appropriate, and determined when it matters--never doing anything unnecessary, but never withholding something that could help, even marginally. That balance made us feel safe, respected, and fully supported throughout an unpredictable journey. I've seen criticisms of Dr. Anderson, but that was not our experience. He listens, explains, and genuinely cares. When things didn't go as planned, he was just as disappointed as we were. When we had wins, he celebrated them sincerely. He is unusually accessible--available seven days a week and responsive when questions or concerns arise. He felt like a true partner, and we trust him completely. He does not sugarcoat difficult information, but he delivers it with honesty and respect. Most importantly, he is relentless in his commitment to achieving the best possible outcome. If you trust Dr. Anderson, follow his guidance, and give the process the time it requires, he will do everything in his power to help you succeed. The nursing staff is exceptional and deeply invested in patient care. * Julia consistently went above and beyond with warmth and clarity. * Crista brought calm confidence and excellent communication. * Daisy offered unwavering empathy and attentiveness. * Doris provided comedic relief while being thoughtful and thorough. * Joyce was incredibly sweet and highly skilled, always making us feel at ease. Molly at the front desk also deserves special recognition. She was consistently kind, welcoming, and a comforting presence at the beginning and end of every visit. We also worked with Dr. Royster, who performed one of my egg retrievals while Dr. Anderson was away for his daughter's wedding. His skill and professionalism ensured seamless continuity of care and reinforced the strength of the entire team. Operationally, SCCRM runs like a well oiled machine. Scheduling, monitoring, communication, and procedures are efficient and intentional. You always know what's happening, why it's happening, and what comes next--something that significantly reduces stress during an emotionally taxing process. Our family exists today because of Dr. Anderson and the team at Southern California Center for Reproductive Medicine. Their expertise, consistency, and unwavering commitment turned an uncertain and exhausting process into real results. We will continue to recommend them without hesitation to anyone navigating this journey.

I'm writing this so no one in a similar situation wastes the same precious time I did. Background: I came to him at 36 with severe DOR -- AMH of 0.03 and FSH consistently above 15. His approach was to wait until my FSH naturally fell to 15 or below before starting IVF. For someone in perimenopause, that's very unlikely. He also refuses to use estrogen priming to help lower FSH, citing egg quality concerns -- a position that, per multiple other specialists I've since spoken to, is not backed by current evidence. The biggest driver of egg quality is age, not estrogen priming. After nearly a year of waiting, disappointing appointments, and being told donor eggs might be my only option, I found Dr. Wayne Lin at FCOC (Amazing doctor!!). He immediately came up with a game plan, starting with estrogen priming. I told him what Dr. A said and Lin assured me the biggest driver of egg quality is age, not estrogen priming. Lin put me on estrogen to bring my FSH down and started IVF right away. He gave me a realistic 30% chance of a normal embryo at my age. His facts were exact. Out of 3 eggs retrieved, only 1 was normal. She is now my healthy, bouncing, 14-month-old daughter. I later found out that Dr. Anderson is widely considered one of the most conservative fertility doctors in Orange County, and that some of his data points and methods appear to be outdated. His bedside manners are also a 5/10. At one appointment, as he walked in for yet another day 3 ultrasound and commented, "Boy, you're persistent". I was surprised, but I was willing to put up with him because I thought he was the best. However, I later found that Lin is a much more skilled doctor with unbeatable bedside manners. As for the office itself, it runs efficiently -- you're rarely waiting more than 10 minutes, and the finance department is genuinely skilled at navigating insurance issues, which is no small thing in the fertility world. The nursing staff was a mixed bag; about two-thirds were nice, but the remaining third had a cold, very 'Newport Beach' vibe -- like you were an inconvenience rather than a patient going through one of the hardest experiences of your life. That contrast was especially noticeable after switching to Dr. Lin's office, where every single nurse is kind and empathetic without exception. Conclusion: If your FSH is over 15 and he won't start IVF: LEAVE. Get a second opinion now. Time matters enormously in fertility treatment, and I wish someone had told me this sooner.

I have rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and have taken the holistic approach to treating my disease. I decided to try acupuncture to see if it could assist with my inflammation and pain. I did my research and decided to try Lee Acupuncture based on all the positive reviews. There were even a few reviews coming from arthritis patients who had obtained good results. They're located in a small business plaza that borders Costa Mesa & Newport Beach. The big "Melton Int'l Tackle" sign is a good landmark. They are located all the way down the alley on the right. Free parking is available. The office itself is rather small with 3-4 patient rooms and a small waiting area that's comfortably furnished with 2 chairs, a sofa and some snacks & water. I was pleased to learn that my insurance covered the first 6 sessions (per year) at $40 co-pay per session. After that the rate goes up, but you can buy a package that offers lower rates. The very 1st session was interesting, as they hooked me up to a machine to determine how balanced my energy was flowing internally. It highlighted key areas of improvement. The belief is that the more balanced I am, the less inflammation I will have. Each session is about 1/2 an hour. I started going twice a week, and now I go once a week. I was assigned to Dr. Kim who thoroughly explained everything to me prior to starting, and continues to remain helpful and caring. He inserts the needles in various areas, primarily my hands, feet and head. Sometimes it hurts a little when the needles go in, and a couple times I've bled after the needles came out, but that's probably because it hit a vein. I lay on the table for 1/2 hour and feel very relaxed afterwards. In addition to the acupuncture, I take herbs that I purchase from them for $90 for 1 weeks worth. They said it's very important to keep taking the herbs as it assists with the healing process. I had also read about this online. I take the herbs 2x a day (AM & PM) with food. I mix the herbs with a little water and drink it like a tea. After approximately two months of acupuncture and drinking herbs, I can positively say that my inflammation has gone down significantly. I took a photo of my inflammation on my hands & feet prior to starting, and there has been a big improvement! I will definitely continue seeing Dr. Kim, and I'm so happy I discovered Lee Acupuncture.

We felt an immense amount of support from the staff & were so grateful that we weren't looked at as just a number. We chose regular IVF for my wife & Embryo freezing for me. We were prescribed regular IVF meds. I recommend looking into the compassionate care program to get discounted rates on some of the meds. I recommend looking into the compassionate care program to get discounted rates on some of the meds. With the help and support of the staff my wife retrieved 37 eggs in one cycle and I retrieved 45 eggs in one cycle!! Our first attempt with WCFC ended in a success. We transferred two embryos and one stuck in 2024. In Jan 2026 we began trying for our second, on our second transfer in March 2026 we recieved a positive pregnancy test! We highly recommend working with them.

I had a disappointing first experience at West Coast Infertility Clinic…read more At my initial visit, I paid $350 and was told by the receptionist that this amount would be reimbursed back to my card after my insurance claim was finalized. About a month later, I checked my insurance account and saw that the clinic had billed $2,286, and the claim had already been finalized for about two weeks. I called the clinic to follow up on my $350 reimbursement. The staff member who answered initially told me the insurance claim was still pending, which conflicted with the information from my insurance. After I explained what I saw on my account, she said she would check with the billing department and call me back the next day--but I did not feel confident in the communication or transparency of the process. While the facility itself looks clean and professional, my first impression was not positive. I came in simply hoping to learn more about IUI/IVF options before moving forward, but the experience left me feeling uncomfortable during the consultation because it seemed like the doctor was more focused on promoting IVF rather than fully discussing my situation and options. Additionally, I did not receive any results from the blood tests or ultrasound performed during my visit. Overall, not the level of service or clarity I was expecting for such an important and sensitive journey.

After years of heartbreak, disappointment, and multiple failed transfers at a previous clinic, I decided to put my trust in OC Fertility and am so glad I did. I was not an easy case by any means, but Dr. Moayeri took on the challenge and was ultimately successful. She individualized my FET protocol with great precision and did daily blood work monitoring and frequent ultrasound checks. All previous doctors used a cookie cutter approach which unfortunately did not work on me! I am now approaching my second trimester of pregnancy with my miracle baby and am so thrilled! I highly recommend OC Fertility to anyone looking for highly personalized and expert fertility care.

I'm 32 and have been dealing with fertility challenges, and I chose OC Fertility hoping for support…read moreduring what is already a very emotional and stressful process. I want to start by saying that the staff was kind, and I genuinely liked Dr. Moayeri. Everyone I interacted with was pleasant and compassionate on a personal level. Unfortunately, the overall experience was deeply disappointing due to serious administrative and insurance oversights. I was taken through the entire IVF process, appointments, medications, monitoring, right up until I was about to have my egg retrieval. Two days before Christmas, I received a call informing me that I was being dropped as a patient because they had failed to properly verify my insurance. At that point, I was told they do not accept my specific WIN Fertility benefits, something that should have been confirmed at the very beginning. This error completely derailed my timeline and forced me to abruptly move clinics at the very end of treatment, which was emotionally overwhelming and incredibly disruptive. Fertility treatment is not something you can simply "pause" without consequences, and the lack of accountability and clear explanation made me feel unsupported during a very vulnerable moment. I did speak with the director, who was kind, but kindness doesn't make up for the lack of oversight. Since leaving, multiple professionals have told me that my experience was not normal, which only reinforced how mishandled this situation was. My advice to anyone considering OC Fertility: get a second opinion before committing, and double or triple check your insurance directly with your provider. Do not rely solely on the clinic's confirmation. I truly wish my experience had been different, because the emotional toll of having to switch practices after going through so much was incredibly hard.

When I came to this clinic, Dr. Lin advised me to first prepare my body step by step before starting another IVF cycle. Thanks to the thorough testing, I was able to understand what was happening with my uterus and fallopian tubes. Although I was eager to become pregnant as soon as possible, Dr. Lin carefully explained what was necessary to reach our goal and emphasized that not rushing is essential to improving the success rate. His guidance gave me confidence and peace of mind throughout the process. I would also like to highlight Ms. Paula, the coordinator, who handled my medication schedule very flexibly and always responded quickly. Ms. Ai, a nurse and interpreter, was incredibly kind and supportive. Because my English is limited, she helped coordinate with CVS and made sure everything went smoothly. Her care and hospitality meant so much to us. I strongly recommend this clinic for anyone seeking not only medical expertise, but also genuine kindness and support.

She never promised anything except that she is going to try her best based on the previous attempts with a different doctor and the results that was provided to her from the previous clinic. She changed the routine in order to give us the best outcome possible based on the knowledge that was given, and she even sat down after each procedure explaining what had happened, and what each results meant and the stages that it was undergoing. In the end, she had obtained more eggs ever compared to the previous doctors combined, and was able to get one successful embryos to be cultured and turned out to be normal after the testing Be honest with her, and if you believe there is something that is not fertility related, but medically related and share that with her because she is an honest and a person of integrity who will let you know the truth based on her knowledge. Then there was my coordinator I was assigned to, Annie, who was probably one of the best coordinators I have ever worked with throughout all my medical appointments inside and outside of fertility treatments. She would be very clear and concise on her method of communication and would always follow up if a due date was approaching and I had not finished my side of the homework. I really appreciate all that she has done from beginning to end with her communication and her sense of compassion, love, and care for myself, and I'm sure she does that with all of her patience. If I can give some feedback, I would say she deserves a high pay raise
