And honestly? Say less. So in we go. I'm half skeptical, half flattered, fully confused. The staff was so helpful, clearly used to people like me wandering in with no idea what a Wunder Train is. I grab a few pairs to try on and suddenly we're in this giant bougie dressing room with mirrors that see you from every angle of your soul. The super sweet associate asks my partner if he wants to come see how they look and he's like, Oh sure, but also starts laughing as he whispers to me "I feel like a sugar daddy right now." And I'm standing there in leggings that feel like they were sewn by angels, laughing and also nodding because yeah. Accurate. But also wow. These leggings? Life-changing. Like cancel my plans I'm just wearing these around the house all day kind of good. So now here I am, one pair in and already plotting my return. The cult rumors are true. Lululemon owns me now. That's pretty much the whole premise of Hip & Humble. It's full of delightful little things that, truthfully, fill in the edges of the painting of life. Nothing here is *necessary* for human survival, yet it makes everything in life more colorful. Take for instance the cards that I found, with delightful puns on them. I love cards. I love puns. How did I not have a set of pun cards before? It boggles the mind. So with them in my hands, I knew I had to get them. Their jewelry is super on trend, and totally delightful. Their home stuff is nice. And who doesn't need a book of Craigslist Missed Connections poetry? I mean, these are the items that fill in the blanks. I haven't shopped a place like this in a while. It reminded me of a trip I took last summer to Park City. I shopped a few jewelry stores there with similar finds, a few art spots, and a bookstore. This was kind of like all of those shops combined into one small store with a compressed selection of all of them. Perfect for gifts for someone special, and perfect to take the most special one of them with you to shop.

They offered me a discount for being a state employee too. They have ample boxes that they encourage you to take so you can wrap your gifts as you leave the store. * masks are required to shop * social distancing is present * limited capacity so please exercise patience. They are doing their best to accommodate shoppers.

Thankfully the excellent employees here helped me find a complete new wardrobe and it kept me coming back throughout the week to check out the more casual clothes after loving the quality of the clothing and great customer service I received the first time. Neither of them greeted us or ever spoke to us as we looked around. I took one item up to the cash register to ask her to price check it. She didn't. She just told me what she thought the process would be. A few minutes later my daughter found a top on a floor set that she couldn't find on a rack. I walked back to the cash wrap- waited until one of the two ladies standing there could acknowledge me. When one finally said something I said " if you are not too busy I do have a question". The lady behind the girl who spoke to me straight up ROLLED her EYES at me. This was was actually on her phone apparently texting. I called her out about the eye rolling and said we are done here. My daughter finished looking and we walked out. We drive the 15 miles to the store in Layton to make our purchase. Worst customer service ever.
