Just got the necklace and put it on then paid my bill. The necklace then broke a couple months later. When it broke I looked at it and new that it was not my necklace. I went back to ask questions. I let her know that I got this fixed once. I asked the lady if she could read me what it said on the necklace. she said 18 karat ( I can not see the numbers, to small) . I then asked if she could tell if it is tri color, she said "no it just two colors". I let her know that I had dropped my 22 karat, tri color necklace off and this is the what I got back. She then started to play stupid and said there was no such thing as a 22 karat necklace. with the language difference she just said "no no", "you got receipt". She was then pretending she did not know what I was saying. She then turned her away and walked to the back of the store. I looked for the receipt but I could not find it. I just want everyone to know that they don't give you back what you had. I am very upset, want people to know about this jewelers. The more I told my story the more stories I hear of people having the same thing done with pieces of jewelry. In the past I have bought pieces of jewelry from there. This necklace was bought overseas around 16 years ago. There is a rating of 0 from me and will not go back.

So much so that she wanted them to work on a very old, special piece left to me by my grandmother. For Christmas, Mom took me to meet Suzie who worked with us to redesign my Arlene Francis style diamond heart. It had a cross in it that we wanted to replace with another heart. Suzie made recommendations and was very helpful. Tony worked with us every step of the way and, with an eye toward perfection, told us he didn't think one arrangement would look as good and showed us another idea that would look better. I also asked him to repair a custom charm I had since I was a baby. When he was done, both pieces were exquisite. Big Ben's has a beautiful showroom and they are really friendly and experienced. Even cleaned every piece which was a task. There must be 70 different gold and silver beads and long pieces of ornate silver hallow long (like ziti pasta but thinner and it came out wonderful. I'll post a pick when I put it on. And they are very reasonably priced. Sue is the sales woman who greets you. There are two men maybe father and son work are the Jewlers and they are good hardworking people. They don't carry upscale jewelry but have a wide selection for the local population. I picked it up and it looks like it was ran over by a car. Like they used pliars and pinched the chain and flattened it in 3 spots about 2-4 links were like this. It looks so bad and I've had this chain since I was 16 as a gift and it's ruined!! the guy who does the repairs is about 18 years old and I asked if he went to school for this and he said he "learned in the job" by his parents who work there. I asked if they can send it out to be fixed by professional jewelers and I was told they don't do that smh. Now I have to find and pay for someone else to fix what they did. about 12 links are ruined and all they had to do was weld/sodder 2 spots. I will never ever go back there again. plus the jewelry they sell is WAY over priced
