It was our first time there, and although there was only one other patient in the waiting room when we arrived- it was clearly understaffed as there was no "receptionist" or anyone to answer the ringing phones or take our info when we walked in. When we finally saw the doctor- he was pleasant, but told me that my child did not have an ear infection. Since we had recently traveled to Mexico and my son had a fever, he suggested that we should go directly to the ER for bloodwork to rule out Dengue Fever or Malaria. We went to the ER and after hours of testing, the doctor told us that we shoudl go home and wait for the results, but he asked to check my son's ears first. He checked his ears and told us that he had an EAR INFECTION! He prescribed us antibiotics and sent us on our way. Now I'm stuck with a $1300 ER bill for something I knew was an ear infection in the first place. I will never go to this Urgent Care again!

In conversations before the bris, I knew that my friend was nervous about the process, the ceremony, and the actual circumcision. I can say with confidence that Dr. Rumbak put the family's mind at ease both with her expertise and her gentle approach. As a "spectator" at the ceremony, Dr. Rumbak passed around sheets so we can all follow along and feel part of the ceremony, and explained what different blessings meant. She also added some Jewish text in a modern and relevant way, which I appreciated, and my family continued to discuss post ceremony. The sweet baby did super well and was calm throughout the entire process. Truthfully, I didn't even know when the actual circumcision actually happened because she was so gentle and discrete. At the end of the ceremony, many people went up to Dr. Rumbak to compliment her on one of the best brit mila's they ever went to, and many asked for her card (including my mom for our temple!). She has a great business partner in Shachar, who socialized with the guests of the ceremony, kept everything organized, and was just an all around stand up guy. Would have loved so much to give a glowing review of Dr. Rumbak but unfortunately we look back on…read morethe day of my son's bris and what transpired after with a lot of sadness. Dr. Rumbak deserves credit and thanks for her discretion in not circumcising our son the day of his bris due to a urological condition she noticed in her ore-ceremony examination. We are thankful for that. She performed what essentially worked out to a baby naming ceremony for us. Obviously the day was emotional to begin with and the news she couldn't circumcise was extremely disappointing and heartbreaking since this was a day we looked forward to for so long. In the days after the bris we were able to absorb the events better and realized exactly what happened. To begin with, my wife asked for a program to keep as they were being collected (yes, collected), and the response was, "I collect them." She said the same to my mom (baby's grandma). We consider this ridiculous - even if the baby's grandparents couldn't have one, at least the parents should. When I emailed Dr. Rumbak about the issue I'm about to describe, I also mentioned the program and that part of my email was left unaddressed. Here's the major problem, though. We paid $800 for a circumcision plus $150 for travel from Manhattan to Nassau. We were happy to do this because we really liked Dr. Rumbak on the phone. However, after the bris, we had a bit of a realization that really irked us. Why were we never offered any kind of refund for the circumcision not being performed? It really should have been offered that day, on the spot, but it wasn't. Days and weeks turned to months and we still were never offered anything. We didn't even get an email or phone call to check on our son given the medical issue Dr. Rumbak identified. This was surprising given the emotional nature of the day but also because part of Dr. Rumbak's service (advertised on her web site and vouched for in her reviews) is her frequent follow up with the family. Finally after a few months, I emailed her explaining we feel we are owed some kind of refund due to the most critical part of the ceremony, the circumcision, not being performed. It is that expertise for which we paid. Dr. Rumbak issued a $200 refund, saying that the rate for a baby naming is $600. It's unfortunate such a beautiful day was soured by the experience we had. As new parents we feel we were, in a way, taken advantage of. Dr. Rumbak did ultimately give some money back, but we feel we shouldn't have had to ask. Experiences like this are what make people cynical about organized religion. The right thing to do would have been to give us a refund without us having to ask. We would not recommend her.

Dr. Hazeghi took the time to understand why I was there , expand on family medical history to be sure nothing is overlooked and did everything to build the right foundation for me as a new patient. Dr. Hazeghi was very knowledgeable and great to speak with, he made me feel very comfortable and helped me get a game-plan together for my next steps. I was already super impressed but then he offered to take my blood himself (my veins are awful and I was a bit worried, however I couldn't believe how painless it was and on the first try). Dr. Hazeghi took his time each step of the way and exceeded my expectations based on his already very high ratings. If I could give him 10 stars I would. The experience really changed what I have know to be Doctor Visits.
