The last time I bought a pair of jeans, Bill Clinton was a big deal at McDonalds. Well, maybe not that far back but still, my point is that I hardly ever like to go clothes shopping. We were going to go to the Outlets but wound up here in Denville instead. Reluctantly, I picked out a bunch of different jeans and tried them on. I found two pair that fit comfortably and felt like they were mine before we bought them. Score. The selection of clothes at this particular GAP is ... really, you're asking the wrong guy. How the hell would I know? I guess it's good. I mean, it's better than the selection of clothes at Walmart. Wait, is it? Well I definitely know it's more expensive. Wait, is it? They had a 30% off sale on almost everything in the store this past weekend. That was cool. But then, for some reason, the cashier was feeling awesome and gave us a total of 40% off. Wow. But wait... my fiancée's GAP card had expired. Oh no! No problem, she opened a new one there on the spot and guess what? We got an additional 15% off. So, for those of you keeping score at home... that's a total of 55% off our entire purchase! Wowie zowie! The cashier was hella friendly and when all was said and done, she ended up basically just handing us over $100 in savings. And I gots me some new jeans, son. Whut whut?

Had my card I purchased it with. Apparantly you can't get store credit, but I was strictly told if I didn't shop right than moment for that returned amount of money, then I'd loose value of that amount if I came back later on. I was so completely lost what the girl was saying. I quickly purchased two pjs and they charged $20 for each while online was $16 and change. so they evened it out with the returned amount I had, while they took the change . I ended up calling customer service and they gave me back the money, the customer service said the store should give store credit for returned item even without receipt. So heads up for buyers, everything crammed into tiny store with poor made up policies. I will be reaching out to Better Business Bureau because I constantly shop at this store and nobody deserves to be treated like this .

I have two boys and this place has been great to sell their clothes no longer needed. The process…read moreis smooth, you bring them in a bag (I use those large canvas bags) and drop them at the counter, you complete a small sheet of your info and then you wait while they JUDGE YOUR CLOTHES ! Im kidding but only a little. I shop for my guys in footlocker, polo, zara, gap, old navy, and bloomys usually so the brads I tend to give are good. Usually I do one large bag at a time and I am out within an hour. I do wish the return was greater. They usually take about 85 percent of what I bring in and i get about 30-40 bucks back. I actually do it because i still love their clothes and want them to live on, I also like the business and people, and lastly the money is always good for a nice linch or starbucks reload. Totally worth a try, super easy and gives another family a chance at some great pieces without the price tag.

So when I needed a few special baby gifts I was so happy to see the store was still open and Susan was still running things. It was a beautiful store back then and is just as lovely now. Absolutely beautiful clothing, everything displayed perfectly with a great selection. Susan knew just what I was looking for and made my purchases so easy.
