No one was there to accept them. The dock area was a complete disaster area, strewn with dumped stuff & downed signs. You couldn't even get to the door at the top of the ramp. A woman inside finally came out & mumbled something about everyone going on break at the same time before she helped take the boxes. I thought this might just be a one time issue with the dock. However, I was by there again a couple of days later & the dock was still an accident waiting to happen. It's an admirable concept but too bad it's not better managed. If you don't want to read the whole thing: I've shopped here for years. The older lady who works here, with reddish hair, was rude and dismissive. Shes been rude before. This was the last time I'll be at Perky Peacock. When I shop here I typically spend a decent amount as I have a larger chest and they have many bras to choose from, as well as quite a selection of clothes. I've lost some weight in the past six months, but haven't updated my bra drawer so I decided to visit perky Peacock. I need an accurate measurement to buy some new bras as well as some clothes for a trip I have coming up. When I went in a young woman asked if I needed any help and I said I needed a bra fitting. She didn't have experience in fittings so she led me to the counter, where there was an older woman who would be able to help me. She groaned, looked extremely annoyed, and asked if I would be in the area for the next hour as another employee had just gone to lunch and she was helping another customer (I was the only other person in the shop outside of the two employees.) It looked like she was doing inventory from what I saw, but maybe she was working on a large order for someone who was coming back? Either way, l told her I wasn't sure but would shop for a while. When she realized I would be sticking around to shop she asked if I knew what band size I was. In which I replied, "No, that's part of the reason why I need to get fitted." She made another annoyed sound, rolled her eyes, and mumbled something to the other employee as I walked to a rack to peruse their sundresses. I didn't let on that I had heard her mutter to the other employee. She has been rude before to myself and other customers and I didn't have any desire to buy anything at that point. I just calmly walked out of the store shortly after. I'm writing this because I was treated as a burden and an annoyance. To treat someone so rudely who could be spending hundreds of dollars, or even someone just window shopping, at your establishment isn't ok in the least. I try to shop local. I love this town and I love the many shops around here. Unfortunately, there aren't very many locally owned places that cater to undergarments for women. So, I'll be heading out to get fitted at Soma and buying my bras and other various items somewhere else from here on out.

A manager, described as dark-skinned, skinny, short in stature, very young, with long hair in a claw clip and wearing a Longhorn jacket, refused to honor the store's return policy, a valid price adjustment, and even declined to provide their name when asked upon. I escalated the issue to corporate, who provided me with a reference number to address this situation further and remedy the situation as well as include the corrective actions taken against the employee. The manager description as well as the cashier ID number was all provided to corporate. As a loyal customer, I expect better professionalism and adherence to store policies from leadership. I hope this matter is taken seriously and that steps are taken to improve the customer experience at this location. If I could give this store negative stars I would, this is not the first time we have had an issue here before as well and decided the give this store a second shot.
