From the moment I walked in, she followed me around the entire store. She was friendly and made small talk, but it was clear she was watching me closely the whole time. She stayed near me from the time I entered until the time I left, and I did not see her doing this with any other customers. During one of our conversations, she even reached into my shopping bag from another store, which I found very inappropriate. On the surface it may have appeared like attentive customer service, but it felt more like she was monitoring me to make sure I didn't steal anything. That experience was very uncomfortable and ultimately led me to leave the store.

The storefront looked interesting, and since we have a 2 1/2 year old daughter, my girlfriend noticed a small pink Hermes knockoff handbag she thought our daughter would love. When we inspected the first bag, we noticed visible damage on the bottom corners. We asked the associate, who was very polite and helpful, if they had another one available without damage. She brought out three additional bags, but unfortunately all of them had similar wear and defects, some worse than others. Considering the bag was originally priced at $58, we asked whether the owner would be willing to offer any sort of discount due to the condition of the merchandise. The associate returned and informed us the owner refused any adjustment. We ultimately purchased the bag with the least amount of damage and paid full price. The owner was present in the store during this interaction and, consistent with several previous reviews, came across as dismissive and uninterested. It felt as though she was offended that we even raised the issue. We had intended to purchase additional items, but after the interaction, we decided against it. It's difficult to justify paying premium prices for visibly damaged merchandise, especially when there is no willingness from management to address it reasonably. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not recommend shopping here.

Returns are processed upstairs...so we all are invited to walk 3 floors up...even though there is an open register with 2 clerks doing nothing?! Take the walk of shame up 3 flights, thank you! Then, I also had to collect an item (purchased on-line for in store pick up) and now told, you have to go downstairs to pick it up, then come back up to return?! You don't have the email with the QR Code? OK, sign up for the Zara App to obtain it?! I mean seriously?! OK, sorry, will never shop here again...

The last dedicated stand alone store I remember visiting was in Orlando in Disney Springs. I like the dedicated stores because in this case they have a few featured items that pertain more to the Arizona customer such as products directly relating to the Diamondbacks and Cardinals right at the check out. The store itself is laid out well with the ability to see much of the products on displays and organized in such as way as to be able to find products easily. Socks and underwear are in a display row with small to XXL so it's easier to find your size. The pay system seemed a bit awkward as I had to put my card in and remove it a few times but in the end it worked. Selection and styles are always changing at Stance so it's nice to be able to see them displayed in a store such as this.

I am also a fan of their jeans, and at the price, I don't mind throwing out the old ones and going for new. I don't usually communicate with the staff, but everyone seems to be on the same page, and don't mind helping find your size.
