I tried to return an ill fitting dress that I tried on at home. Turns out sale items aren't returnable. My cashier who was brand new (two weeks in) didn't tell me this at the time. It had been less than 24 hours. The MOD, a short girl with black hair, pointed to the receipt as if the receipt prints ahead of time. They need to train their workers better. Horrible all around. Bought a jacket and 2 buttons were missing I didn't notice, I brought it back to the store and I didn't have the receipt from a couple days after purchasing. Told, no store credit and to call a corporate number to get a copy of the receipt. Called the number and they said they do not provide such a thing and the manager of that store is a liar. Horrible company, horrible service, horrible quality garbage clothes. Never buying anything from them again. Real professionals working here. Gosh this store is huge! It's fairly organized and clean, but the customer service is not all there. The check out line on both floors were atleast 20 people long. They had most registers open but there wasn't any urgency. Not to mention, no one was controlling the line. People were lining up from several directions and people were cutting eachother. A lot of nice clothes for sport and also for office. I was surprised at the large selection of blazers and slacks to choose from. They also just got in a color variety of zip up hoodies. I prefer a zipper so I was happy all sizes were available. It's been a week so hurry in as I know they won't last. Prices are great. I grabbed some warm socks for hiking with my hoodie and a cute beanie in baby blue. I find a lot of nice items each time I visit. Great prices too. read more

They literally had just one single color suit available and that was so difficult to find as it was kept in the corner. Asked 2 staff and they had just generic idea of floor and couldn't help us. I was recently at that store and one of their customer service representatives was racist and disrespectful towards me. I asked for her supervisor and she came to the front and as I was standing there trying to explain my situation, that rep kept talking back at me. I was talking to her manager and at a certain point I asked her whether that's how they were trained. The manager asked the rep to go to the back and she refused and kept talking at me. I asked whether they price matched because I got a shirt from the sale section and their response (both of them ) was NO CUSTOMERS PUT STAFF IN THE WRONG PLACES ALL THE TIME. H&M. Must stand for Happy and Man. Cuz that's what I was after my shopping spree here recently. We scored three pairs of pants and three or four shirts for $150. And I'm talking styling threads dudes! Not some Buffalo Exchange leftovers. Loved that the men's section is on the entire first floor, right when you walk in. It's kind of divided up into three sections, with plenty of merchandise but not so cluttered you accidentally brush up against a strangers boobies while navigating the aisles. Would have liked a better selection of sunglasses (HELLO THIS IS ARIZONA) and belts (HELLO...Oh, I don't really have an end to this one...). H & M. Hot Merchandise. Holy Moses. Happy Man! Yep! Located on the upper level of the Scottsdale Fashion Mall near Barneys... I don't think I liked this H&M location so much. It felt crowded and dark, like a cave. The line was super long too, even in the middle of the week! How about adding another cashier or two? If I wanted to wait in line, then I'd go hang out at the DMV. The kid's department is way smaller here than the other H&M location (in north Scottsdale). ----------------------------- The PROS at this location: *Restroom right across the mall walkway (no restroom at the other H&M location). *Mall parking is usually plentiful (depending when you visit). *If you DON'T find anything here, you'll be sure to find something at Forever 21 or Love Culture which are right next to this H&M. read more

Spacious, two-level H&M, which caters to women, men and children. This store is typically organized and categorized by style which I love. Recently stopped in during their 50% additional to marked down items which caused a large amount of buzz within the store. Clothing, accessories, shoes to even beauty products H&M does a good job of providing low cost items that look good. Love that you can find, stylish or basic clothing here without breaking the wallet. I managed to find some basic tights here for a business casual look for only $2.50. The lines here go pretty quickly as they have two cashier running the front end of the women's section. The fitting rooms do get pretty lengthy at times, so be wary of that. read more

H&M consistantly has clothes that I like, for reasonable prices. It's usually one of the 1st places I'll hit when I'm out shopping. This location is much bigger than the H&Ms I've been too... it even has baby clothes! So what was wrong? Well, I was shopping with a guy who's a size 'L' and they barely had his size in the style and color he wanted. Most of the things he found he couldn't get or had to choose another color in because they were out of 'L'. Ah, H&M... This location at Scottsdale Fashion Square Mall is almost as nice as the first H&M I ever visited (NYC). This one is two stories -- men's stuff downstairs, ladies and kids upstairs. H&M has a variety of clothes and the prices are pretty reasonable. My favorites, their plain black (or other colors) t-shirts, are a staple in my wardrobe. I've also found other items like tank tops, some dress tops, and leggings. H&M also has accessories like scarves, hats, beach wraps, etc. Some clothes are more on the casual side and others are cute outfits to wear to the office, if you have to dress up there. They need to have a much bigger dressing room area! Long, long lines are NOT cool! read more

This is based on the day the Versace for H&M collection debuted. It was sheer chaos, but organized chaos. The staff was in good spirits, despite the chaotic environment. The styles offered to this store didn't include some of the pieces shown in the commercial. The normal H&M styles were very appealing, but all eyes were on the Versace for H&M pieces. The other styles were affordable in price. I enjoy this store, every time I visit. Tip- The $5 racks are most often not the best deals, as those clothes tend to fall apart. read more

Beware of this brand. The system sucks. If you bought the full price item and then came back for a return you will get whatever price they give you not even half price you paid. I know i don't have a receipt but mostly if you have a better system it will scan and let you know when it was purchased and how much it cost. Why has this never happened to me with any different brand but this one. The employees told me it is on sale but couldn't show me the website or if it is available in the store. I might accept the price or keep the clothes but telling me it is on sale and then not being able to prove it to me, better train your employee and managers before dealing with customers. . read more

H&M has improved their customer service significantly! I was there to find a black skinny low waist pants and I only know I picky I am with my pants. I was promptly helped by several employees who helped me find what I was looking for! The prices then, are very convenient! If you're reading this right now - 10/5/17 - go to the store ASAP!! They're having a BIG sale with a ton of dresses and clothes for under $15. I'm heading to a 3 day long wedding this weekend and was in desperate need of some cute dresses to wear. Out of stress and being on a time crunch, I purchased a VERY overpriced dress that I wasn't even that in love with. Before leaving the mall, I said heck, I wonder if H&M has anything? WELL, they did and I got THREE dresses for less than half of the price of the overpriced dress that I bought somewhere else. The best part, I love all 3 of them even more than the original one that I purchased. {Yes, the original dress is going to be returned!} The staff working was super friendly and I was in and out in under 20 minutes with 3 cute new dresses! EVERY SINGLE TIME. i tried on a pair of pants in a size 4. as well as a few other things. well the pants were slightly big so i asked the outrageously irritated girl in the fitting room if she could bring me a size 2 to try on. well she said "no this was an online return" and i said "oh well there were about 15 of them on the rack i grabbed them from" and she said "well i guess you saw the wrong ones" and i said "no.. they're all the same" and then i handed her everything i tried on walked over to where i found the pants. grabbed a size 2 purchased them and left. keep in mind the second i approached the fitting room she was already rolling her eyes and just grabbed my things from me and said "go in room 5 thanks" and then handed my clothes back. and when i handed her the things back after i tried on she literally hissed, like what? she straight up hissed as she turned away from me. read more

You are probably reading these reviews because you already know what H&M is. If you don't, then get out of your basement, and live a little. Ok. Now that the formalities are out of the way. This location is pretty good. Some advice if you are unfamiliar. 1. Never shop at the cheap racks unles they are the sale racks. If you see regular priced stuff for $5, that means it is crap and polyester. Stay away. That shit will come back to haunt you. Go a little deeper in the store and spend a few more bucks and get the good stuff. 2. The men's dress shirts are awesome. 100% cotton. About $30-40 bucks. Perfect fit for most frames. 3. Accessorize. If you are a fashion forward dude, this is the spot. 4. Cardigans. You might be able to pull one off. If you can, this is the place. Bottom line, don't be fooled by cheap "regular priced" items. This stuff is crap. Spend some cash because H&M has good stuff. You just have to look for it. Also the sizes run true in the Men's section. Feel good about that. Peace. read more

Im pretty sure I read about Kim Kardashian's engagement, wedding, and divorce all while I was waiting in the 100 yard line to try on clothes here. Seriously, what takes so long to try on clothes?! Every H&M I've been to has a ridiculously long line, what's going on in there? Yes, H&M has trendy clothes for cheap (but ya get what you pay for). If you're looking for an item that you won't be able to wash more than twice before it unravels, then this is the place for you. Why 2 stars instead of 1, well the answer is simple. I do, on occasion, find some cute top or dress from here that I end up purchasing cause I can't believe the price. But, I'm quickly reminded as to why the price is cheap when I pull my top out of the dryer. This store also has shoes, hats, sunglasses, and jewelry to help accessorize you outfits and these items do seem to last longer then Kim K's marriage :) Also, expect to wait long for checkout as well. Clothes are Fun & Trendy but totally disposable. They last maybe 4-5 washing if you are lucky. Not sure what the deal is but the customer service is pretty bad for this day and age at Scottsdale Quarter. They never greet you and if you have a question or need help they act like you are a major pain. I've had a love affair with H&M since I studied abroad in France. And since the H&M gods have determined that Denver isn't worthy enough to have one (yet?), I had to indulge a smidge whilst in Phoenix/Scottsdale. This location is large and comprehensive. Men's on the first floor, women's and children's (there's a children's section now? when did I miss that!?) on the second floor. A bit messy, but all H&Ms seem to have that flare. I could've spent beaucoup bucks here, but I limited myself to a few purchases since I knew I wouldn't be able to return anything. Long lines for the women's dressing rooms, so be prepared to wait. Overall, this was another excellent H&M location with offerings that one comes to expect from this fantastic store. Now, H&M, come to Denver! We *need* you. Beautiful store and great visuals. I have not purchased anything at this location...yet. Compared to the mens' section at the Scottsdale Quarter, this one is substantially larger. They have a pretty nice selection of dress shirts and pants. I just wish I wasn't in between sizes so often here. I generally find that the "L.O.G.G." (Label of Graded Goods) pieces fit me the best. Really great womens' selection upstairs that has definitely given Forever 21 a run for it's money. This is obviously a great place to find trendy, of-the-moment pieces for fabulous prices. Unfortunately because of the high snobriety of many H&M locations, this place tends to get a bad rep. I, however, look at it as a breath of fresh air. While a lot of the seasonal lines can be hit or miss, the Basic collection is brilliant. With many styles and colors, the line tends to dedicate itself to plain tees and accessories. I usually pick up 4-5 black or white shirts when I visit, and at $6 or so a pop, its actually cheaper than the Hanes line at your local Walmart. I am also a fan of their jeans, and at the price, I don't mind throwing out the old ones and going for new. I don't usually communicate with the staff, but everyone seems to be on the same page, and don't mind helping find your size.
