The owner, Nick, does not take any responsibility for the mistakes or actions of the crew he sends over. Francisco made lewd gestures and comments grabbing his crotch while talking about his Louie. I notified Nick and he warned me that I better be able to prove it. I wanted a patio that would keep water from running into my house. To compromise he suggested he patch the low spots. The color of patching does not match the patio. To raise the area around my door they added concrete that covers a good part of the threshold. I gave Nick a detailed description with schematics to place everything where it should be. The worst was the wall that they built which was nothing like the schematic showed or what the contract promises. He refuses to fix the wall because it would be a big job. The drainage system is not as it should be. Anytime something is brought to his attention there is a reason for doing it his way. He does not supervise. The guys he sends do not follow the plan. Probably because Nick is never around to guide them. Make sure you have cameras or else have someone there that you trust to watch the entire process

Not only could he do every single thing, his price was better than we expected. From the first day he came to the house, until the last day he and his crew worked, they have been simply THE BEST! They work hard, they show up 6 days a week, and say "yes" to everything we ask of them. Pedro is a great resource and will give his ideas about things if we are confused or unsure. We came across an issue with our gas line, and thought we were at a dead end, needing to wait for months for SDG&E to come, but Pedro thought of a great bypass solution and was able to pull it off without changing any of the original design we wanted or the project timeline. Pedro showed up at our house several times a week to check on his team, and worked himself on parts of our project alongside his team. We were very pleased with Youngren and would recommend them for remodeling/construction projects, especially for those living in the local area of Fallbrook, Bonsall, Rainbow, Oceanside and Temecula. We found that having a local point of contact was extremely helpful, especially for a large time consuming project like ours. We conducted our remodeling effort in two phases with the first focusing on the kitchen, family room and living room and the second on the hallways, bathrooms and bedrooms. The bathrooms were completely remodeled/redesigned with plumbing changes and wall modifications. The flooring in the entire house was replaced with porcelain tile. New baseboards, window casings, closet doors, and windows were added. The Youngren team worked with us from beginning to end (design, permitting process, material selection, demolition, construction, final inspection) and proved to be very flexible when we requested changes as the worked progressed. One of the most positive aspects of Youngren is that they utilize very professional and reliable subcontractors who worked with us (and the Youngren Supervisor) to fine tune and adjust what we wanted. They included electricians, plumbers, countertop fabricators, drywall/finishers, painters, glaziers/shower glass installers, stucco contractors, cabinet makers and tile installers/setters. All were great. Always shop around, but definitely give Youngren Construction serious consideration for your remodeling project.

Even if they didn't know, every close interaction with another person is a potential threat to my life due to an extremely serious primary immunodeficiency.
