Who came to my rescue. He was right on it and listened to my concerns, made me super comfortable with him. He displayed compassion and sincerity. Which made me feel even more comfortable with his presence being that I was a woman alone and in a very dark area. I just got back from a long trip moving my mother from Texas to sunny California. When I went to start my truck battery was dead . Jans towing came and a young man named Merino was here to help. After checking battery after jumping it did start but also discovered that Walmart had installed the wrong size battery. Merino had this hand held device that showed me what was ok in engine wise just battery was defective. He replaced the wrong size battery and my truck is up and running. Office hours are 8am-Called them and the guy tells us to come back on Saturday! Get there Saturday at 9:30am (office hours are 8am-12pm) and obviously they were closed!! They had a sign that read sorry for any inconvenience but we're closed 4/29/2020... the date was 2/29/2020! We called them, they were so rude and disrespectful, they told me to come on Monday (so I can pay more for storage) and hung up on me! Tonight I got a flat tire after work and called aaa, the driver Rick Ray came out and loaded up my car on the tow truck, and when my fiancé and I went to follow him into fiancés truck, we saw we also had a dead battery. Rick Ray went above and beyond and came back around and tried to jump start his truck, and then took me with him to drop off my own car with the flat tire. This place maybe decent when you call AAA for roadside assistance, however, when you are not going through then, they are terrible. My father's vehicle was towed right after an accident over to their yard. I went with my father who is 78 years old to get his personal belongings from the car and they would not allow us in. Stating only my father was allowed in the facility (who was with me). My father moves slowly and is not able to carry heavy things. They didn't even allow my insurance company (AAA) to inspect the vehicle on property and causing them to tow the car to another facility for inspection. After this, they place a lien on the car less than a week after going into their storage saying they will sell the car that was no long on their lot. Matter of fact it was off their lot for two whole days after my insurance paid the lot and storage fees and daying we owe them another 650 in bogus charges. I called them multiple times and they never answer the phone. I might of called at least 6 to 7 times everyday until someone answered. When I got someone on the line they said, the lien was taken off, However, when I called the lien company, they still stated the lien was on the car. read more

I thought I had a spare tire, but turns out some newer cars don't have them. He got my car hooked up super fast and towed me to a nearby tire store. There are few feelings worse than when it finally comes time for your lunch break, and you rush to your car so you get the best use of your 30 minutes, then your car doesn't start! I didn't know what was wrong, but my guess was the battery. I called AAA and was told that help would arrive within 15 minutes. And it was about ten minutes before Chris arrived to help me out. He asked me to attempt to turn on my car, but nothing happened. After he worked his magic, he hopped in my car and began to rapidly turn the key in the ignition and it started! I was stranded alone up glendora mountain road with a dead battery and an almost dead phone, Richard managed to get there within the half hour, jump the battery, give me advice on how to clean it, talk to me about the meteor shower (the reason I was up the mountain in the first place, that alone would've warranted 5 stars for me) and get me on the road and safely down the mountain with him close behind in case of any other mishaps, absolutely wonderful guy, made it so quick and easy and pleasant. We have to park our 74 Bug on the street in Azusa and we must move it every 72 hours which we have always done no problem, recently my wife was diagnosed with 2 different types of cancer and our life became very chaotic. We did not move it on the 3rd day because we were dealing with Dr's and hospital and tests, I came home and the car had been towed, I called Jans and explained what was happening and they didn't care, we owed the money and we needed to pay, I could not pay the amount they wanted so we left the Bug there, my wife loved that car but now it's gone. What is wrong with these people? They know they are dealing with people who are usually stressed trying to deal with a broken car. I just wanted my car dropped of at the service center. I offered to give the dispatch dick my credit card over the phone or when he picked the car up but they insisted I go with the car to the service center. He claimed, its for liability. Clearly someone who doesn't understand how liability works...i.e.. There is less chance of me becoming injured if I AM NOT in the truck. In the end, it does' t matter.
