We repeatedly attempted to get clear information regarding an issue with our electric vehicle, and each time we were met with dismissal and condescension. Rather than providing answers, she would abruptly redirect us to another employee over the phone and then hang up. After getting nowhere, we made the hour-long drive to speak with her and her manager in person. Shockingly, the in‑person interaction was even more dismissive. At this point, if returning my seventy-thousand-dollar vehicle were an option, I would not hesitate. I will not be returning to this dealership, nor will I be recommending it to anyone. Customer service clearly is not a priority here.

I reached out to Toyota Carlsbad as their website showed they had a 2026 RAV4 FWD in stock. Hamid, the salesperson, reached back out to me to let me know that they did not have that specific configuration in stock, but had an open reservation that was in transit. He let me know I could put a refundable deposit to reserve it. I decided to proceed with that and it was very easy with their reservation system. Hamid kept me up to date on the status of the vehicle. When it arrived, my wife and I scheduled a time to do a test drive. When we got to the dealership, it was out and ready for us. Hamid showed the car and its features to us. My wife did the test drive as I needed to watch our baby. After the test drive, Hamid gave us a quote for the car and some options. The quote was very competitive and he did not try to pressure us into any add-ons. We wanted to think about it for a day as we were test driving other cars, which Hamid was amenable to. My wife and I talked it over and were having a hard time picking which car we liked. Since I did not get a chance to test drive the RAV4 myself, I reached back out to Hamid the next day and asked if he was okay letting me come back to test drive myself. He was fine with that and I came back up to test drive. Hamid let me take my time and really let me feel out the RAV4. After driving it, I decided that it wasn't a fit for us. I let Hamid know. He had no issues with that and was extremely professional. Overall was very happy with my experience. Hamid was straightforward, honest, communicative, and overall great to work with. If we want to look at a Toyota in the future, I will definitely reach out to Hamid and Toyota Carlsbad.

    Really weird experience and will never come back here…read more Right when we got there, the sales guys were speeding around in a golf cart yelling at each other about taking someone's customer outside of their rotation order. Walking up, there were maybe 6 or 7 of them standing in a group trying to figure out who would help us, and nobody even said hello. Someone finally came over, we gave our whole spiel, but another sales guy walked up interrupting mid-conversation to poach us. Their exchange right in front of us was passive aggressive about commission and rotation order which was a huge turnoff. The original guy disappeared without a word, so we had to repeat everything all over again. The second guy was condescending about what we were looking for, an older used car under $15k. I said "under $15k" before saying "older" and he scoffed and said "well for $15k yeah, it would have to be older," like I was an idiot. Then he launched into a lecture about how dealerships would never carry something like that, so we left. We had literally just test driven a super clean 2013 used car for $8k at Mazda down the street. I definitely wouldn't come back here knowing their team talks to customers like that. A complete circus from start to finish. Too many sales guys on one shift foaming at the mouth to poach customers and saying whatever they can to strip your confidence and make you pay more. Plenty of other car places around to take your business!

My husband and I went in on a Sunday night to look at a used 2024 Nissan rogue SV at 47,000 miles for $19k. Jonathan had to step out for a personal emergency, so his partner at the dealership, Val, helped us. Test drove and loved it - talked numbers and agreed. Went into financing with Daniel and he cut our APR in half, got us a better power train warranty & lowered our monthly by over $100. Definitely our Nissan dealership going forward. I've purchased 2 Nissans from Ontario Nissan previously (used Altima & new Sentra) when we lived in the IE. Now that we've moved to SD County, we've found our new family Nissan dealership.

Upon entering the service center, a female service advisor approached me. After I described the issue, she immediately suggested it was likely the brakes and informed me there would be a $220 charge just to inspect the brakes. She also remarked that my brake pads had been replaced elsewhere previously and said, "Who knows what parts they put there?!"--which came across as unprofessional rather than helpful. Uncomfortable with both the cost and the interaction, I left and drove to another auto service center. They quickly diagnosed the issue as worn rear brake pads (which had been replaced several years ago), and the repair was completed within a few hours. For comparison, Nissan Escondido offers a free multi-point inspection and provides a free loaner car for services over $200. In the end, I got my brakes fixed, saved money, and learned that exceptional customer service can still be found - just not here.

EIGHT I was determined to go home with this car but convincing my fiancé was the hard part, the price had to be right), and not once did Austin make us feel like we were being difficult or wasting his time. He stayed patient, kept working numbers, and kept coming back with better and better options. At one point we even left to go to Chili's to take a break, called back, and he was STILL fighting for us. We traded in my 2012 Honda civic and they matched the carmax estimate. Austin was funny and made us feel comfortable in our decision. He even helped me clean out my trade in! The sales manager, Tommy, even told us straight up that Austin was pushing hard behind the scenes to make this deal happen for us--and it showed. You can tell he genuinely cares about his customers and isn't just there to make a quick sale. Car buying can be exhausting and stressful, but Austin made sure we felt heard, respected, and taken care of the entire time. We ended up with a deal we feel really good about, and that's 100% because of him. Meeting with the finance guy, Justin was also very comfortable and he made it a breeze and found us a good deal on an extended warranty. If you're going to this dealership, ask for Austin. The process was easy and honest from the start. We agreed on a fair price for both of us and they had no problem with me taking the truck to an independent mechanic before buying it. After purchasing it, I also had my longtime mechanic look it over and he said it was in fantastic shape. Several months later the truck has been great. It needs normal maintenance, which is expected with the mileage, but there have been no major issues at all. The owner and his wife were both incredibly kind and easy to work with.
