Supporting local is important. They have a wide selection of items, from household to gardening to outdoor gear and everything in between. When he asked why the price was $100 higher, the guy said they were privately owned so could ask the prices they wanted for their products. We have tried to support Ace since Home Depot has gone in across the street but with this kind of service it will be hard to continue. When my husband got home, I looked online and ordered the mower for $599. When I called to verify they received the order, I was put on hold 3 times. When my husband and daughter went to pick it up, they said I was the only one who could pick it up since I made the purchase. I called back and suggested they take my husbands I.D. but in the meantime, they came back and picked up my I.D.. This was one of the most difficult purchases I have ever made. I will hesitate to return.

It reminds me of the old time hardware stores when I was a kid. When I was leaving I asked if they sold propane by the gallon and he said yes. Last time we had to drive into N Spokane.
