This is my favorite place in Berkeley to get my eyebrows threaded. Jasmi takes care of me so well and I always love my results.

Went in last minute for a eyebrow threading and tint. I sat in the chair and she completed the threading. That went fine and she let me look after. Eyebrow shape was okay. A little thinner than I hoped since I have been using serum and growing them out so they were real bushy. But I didn't hate the cleaned up look so we moved on to the tint. She added the tint and let me rest for ten minutes. She removed the tint and it burned like crazy since she used alcohol on my freshly threaded brows. There must be a better way? I have light brown/ blonde hair, blue eyes and a lighter complexion. She decided to use medium brown, which upon application looks black. I got up from the chair and was shocked. She literally started laughing. She couldn't even hold it in because I looked so ridiculous. I'm home now frantically looking up remedies to lighten the tint. I am dreading having to go to work tomorrow. Would NOT recommend! read more

I wanted to get my eyebrows cleaned up before my bday dinner. I had spent months growing them out & all I was looking for was some shaping and to make them look somewhat related. I wound up getting most of the hair that I had grown out, threaded off... the overall shape was nice but I was disappointed that all of that hard work went out the window. Beware I got a brazilian wax at Jasmi beauty and it was a disaster. I been getting wax service for almost 10 years from different locations and beauty salons, have never seen such a disaster like this! First of, it hurted so so much and it wasn't about my hair type because i know how it goes. It was so unprofessional that they left hair after waxing. Plus, i got bruises all over, I thought let me check after 5 days since sometimes it is normal to have some redness after waxing, but days after the brazilian wax, bruises are still there, it is absolutely horrible! If you had some near experience like this, I'm telling you this is not normal; there are many places that gives smooth service even if your hair is thicky thick! A no frills beauty and threading spot with competitive pricing. I did my research before getting eyelash extensions for the first time and while Jasmi's reviews didn't offer a lot of insight into their extension experiences, I decided to take a chance based on convenience and pricing. I made a reservation through Yelp and they responded within the hour (much appreciated)! They were able to take me in on the same day and time I was hoping for, which was a week later. The appointment took about an hour and I'm glad I made an appointment because a lot of people walked in that day and had to wait awhile since they didn't have an appointment and it was just a one-woman-show when I was there. The process: I basically looked like sleeping beauty in their back room as Sita worked her magic. The process is relatively painless with little seconds of pain here and there as she tries to get the lashes right. She advised that I get something natural looking at first before I trying a thicker, fuller look. I'm glad she suggested this because I loved the results. The only downside was that some of the lashes fell out within a couple days. Service: Some of the longer ones got flipped and wonky a couple weeks later and what I really appreciated was that she helped me fix them free of charge. Thanks, Sita! She quoted me $100 for lash extensions, but because I barely had any lashes for her to work with I only got charged about $70. I went in a few weeks later and got them taken out for $30. Don't forget to check-in on Yelp for a discount on weekdays ;). They prefer cash. read more

We called on a Sunday afternoon to initially no answer, but they called us back in ten minutes! Really great follow up - most places don't do this and was surprised they are open on a Sunday! (They're closed Mondays though) CUSTOMER SERVICE - 5/5 EYEBROW THREADING - 5/5 Upon entering, my first impression was that it looked super clean! I was told to sign in. There was hand sanitizer provided (April 2021). Service was really quick and they did a wonderful job! My brows are now sleek and clean while holding my original shape. I've had a mediocre experience before at another place where my brows would be uneven or have missing spots, but they did a perfect job here! They also provide other services like eyelash extensions and waxing. Check in for 10% off for those services. I like that they keep their store clean and accept cash, credit card, and even venmo. I will definitely not come back to this place. I gave this place a second chance before writing a review. They messed up my eyebrows even worse than the first time, to the point where they're just from different continents instead of looking like cousins. The shaping is completely off and I also got a tint. When I was getting my eyebrows threaded, I asked the lady if she could trim off some hairs at the end of fix the shaping of it. She reassured me that it was fine and then we proceeded to the tinting part. I don't think she was sure of what she was doing. The tinting is uneven and she missed a couple of spots. I asked her if it was possible to fill the missing spots in and she just kept saying "it's okay, it's okay." The picture shows that it was definitely not okay. I have just two black globs on my face that are pretending to be eyebrows. I honestly did not wanna take any other pictures because they're that atrocious. So happy I was referred here as I was in desperate need of a new threading place. I live in Sacramento but after reading reviews I had to make an appt with Sita asap! My appt was made for noon on a Saturday (we hit some traffic coming in so I was a few minutes late) I messaged Sita and she was able to accommodate and saw me as soon as I got in. You can tell she knew what she was doing and made me feel comfortable as I have been traumatized from previous threading nightmares. Whilst getting a mani/pedi late on a Saturday afternoon, I messaged Sita via Yelp to see if she had time to thread my eyebrows. She wrote back lightning fast and told me to come over (she's open until 19:00). She did my eyebrows in a salon chair inside a nail salon. I am so pissed!!! Today is Wednesday September 4th, 11am. I go to this shop very 2 weeks or so. I've noticed the main owner has not been there and her back up help aren't that great but they do a decent job UNTIL TODAY. This dumbass bitch fucked up my brows so bad that I will NEVER come back again. It used to be my favorite place but I can't trust them now. I asked for the same thing I ask every time, for the shape of my brows to be even and to leave them in my natural high arch. The tail of one of my brows has always been thinner than the other but it's never been a problem until now. Apparently this person thought I meant I wanted both of my brows to be as thin as the tail of my thinnest brow!!! I refused to pay for this service and walked the fuck out. She knew she messed up big time too because she didn't argue when I said I wasn't paying. I was getting my brows down for my birthday this week and now I feel so insecure about the way I look.
