Parking is always questionable since it's located in Dun Huang Plaza, but if you come early enough in the morning, parking has never been an issue. I have seen Mike the past couple of visits and my partner regularly goes to see Alan. Both are super solid and we've never had an issue scheduling with them. I prefer my massages DEEP, and Mike does go really deep. To the point I question whether I need to warn him not to push any further or else he might break my back... Don't let the smallish lobby fool you, Oasis II is larger than it appears. There are a number of individual and group rooms of varying sizes, all of which are clean and smell great. They're dimly lit and private enough to conceal the outside noise. It is quiet enough to feel like a true oasis. The male and female masseuses here all specialize in different styles, from deep tissue to aromatherapy. 1 hour regular body massage runs about $65, where as a foot massage is $40. There are specific tiers that include only shoulder / neck / back ($40-70) or even head massage ($40) or hot stone massage ($75). I personally prefer their Oasis special of 30 minutes of feet and another 1 hour of body massage for $90. I'm on my feet often, so foot massages are favorite thing to get. I often require someone who knows how to manipulate large feet where in the perfect balance between pain and pleasure, and usually that person is an older Chinese man with bear paws for hands. There's usually a head and shoulder massage that accompanies this, so it is the best overall combo. When he's done, I feel like I'm floating and light on my toes. For the occasions where it is my back, I prefer back walking. This is not exclusive to Thai massage, but is widely practiced in Chinese style massages. Not every massage place will have bars on the ceiling, but they have specialized rooms where where folks can do this on their own or in couples fashion. I enjoy the pressure and appreciate any pops in the process. They're very professional and do an excellent job every time. English is not necessarily universal, but make your preferences known at the counter so that they can communicate with the staff if necessary. The customer service may not appear to be warm, but it's effective. They do such a good job with answering the phones, scheduling the appointments, and executing in a way that is consistent that I have found very little room for error. It would be hard to disagree, considering this is a place that reminds me of spas back in Asia. Undoubtably the prices skew somewhat higher, and while they offer credit cards as an option, the fee is almost never worth it. Cash is king and they will round up, because most items and with .99 (e.g. $49.99). What I would argue is the facility is nice enough to warn the slightly higher price and overall solid massage experience. First timers will be directed to a binder, with a breakdown of multiple massages at different prices, and for different lengths of time. I would recommend looking at their website, or doing a little bit of research prior to coming. Sometimes calling ahead of time will work, as the lady boss speaks good English and is able to set appointments based on preferences. Eventually, most folks will be directed to change in their locker rooms, which have showers, vanity mirrors, and personalized lockers. Surprisingly all of the lockers are out of order, which I suspect is a safety measure than a functionality issue. The men's locker room is spotless and offers multiple types of showers. However, none of the lockers are in use or are able to be used. While they do provide shorts and uniforms for people, they don't provide baskets or ways to hold the clothes. People basically have to carry it around. One of their best services is the foot massage. It's excellent and one of the better places in Chinatown to get it. Their massage chair is out in the open and is fancy enough to have a built-in sink for foot soaking and comfy enough cushion to lay flat for front and back. Additionally, they will eventually do a neck, shoulder, and back rub (over clothes + towel) and it remains one of their best valued options. The rooms are extremely clean. It's extremely professional the whole time. They offer back walking which is their version of a deep tissue massage. Unlike a lot of other Chinese massage places where it's questionable from a hygiene standpoint, there is no worry of this here. They offer full bottles of room temperature water for everyone and parking is a cinch. Ultimately one's experience varies with every masseuse, but the men that work here pull off a very good foot massage and that would be my biggest recommendation.
