Weeknight visit (and my first there) and curious to see if it lived up to the hype and appearance from reviews I've seen in a local Chinese food group. Jasmine Garden Honey Garlic Spicy Wings: Crisp with a dark gold coating and thin sliced garlic and whole red peppers thrown in. Biggest impression was how hot they were temperature-wise, literally burning my fingers. An expected mix of garlicky, sweet, and spicy, but tame on all three fronts. Good feel. Above average. Barbecued Spare Ribs: Large, bone-in, plenty of char, and a thick non-traditional maroon glaze covering all sides, even the cross sections (a red flag for me). Another scalding hot item. Stiff and dry inside, with an overdone-pork-chop feel, requiring effort to get the meat off the bone. Felt like a reheat. Okay flavor, all of it from the exterior. Average. Beef Teriyaki: Arriving thin, somewhat pale and hardly glazed, these set expectations low, but the hints of edge crispness, the strong marinade (lots of ginger) and the tender, juicy interior all satisfied. Well above average. (The ribs looked really good and the teriyaki didn't, but it turned out to be the other way around.) Pork Fried Rice: Fresh grains, neutral flavor, with ample fresh pork, egg, onion, and bean sprouts. Neither moist nor dry. Above average. Lobster Sauce: Dark color, soft texture, pleasant sauce with black bean flavor, no whole beans, and an interesting faint nutty sweetness that elevated rather than obscured. I normally don't want my lobster sauce sweet, but this worked. Not too salty, not gloppy, and good rice cling. Well above average. Good sized bar crowd. Near-empty dining room. Air conditioning was practically non-existent. Service both friendly and feisty. An enjoyable overall experience, with some items matching the high praise and some not. It's only one visit, so things can change. For now, good enough for an return at some point, but not quite a destination. read more

I have heard so much positive reviews from friends and decided to try it out last night 11/14/2025. I ordered a combination plate with steak teriyaki, chicken fingers, egg roll and pork fried rice. I have to say the steak teriyaki was the worst I have ever had. It was the toughest meat I have ever had in my life. You could not chew it, at all. I'm not exaggerating. The rest of the meal was fine. I would NEVER order steak "anything" from here. In fact I'm not sure I would ever go back. I was not impressed. Sorry! read more

First time ordering from here. We had 4 different combo plates and a couple sides. Pork Fried rice was good so was the chicken chow mein great flavor on each . The orange chicken did not have much flavor or heat level as requested. Boneless spareribs were excellent. Crab Rangoon were a little bland and the eggs rolls were so greasy and needed seasoning as well. We also got the California roll great flavor however the cut size was huge . Very disappointed. Ordered take-out. Got a very cold greeting at the desk. I saw three takeout bags ready for pickup. Told my order wasn't ready. Five minutes later, the hostess looked at the bags again, picked up the third bag and gave it to me. Told me it just came out. I informed her that my bag had been there when I came in. Tried to tell me it had just come out. Finally said that she misread name on bag. At home, I hoped the food would be tasty. Unfortunately, it was cold, it lacked flavor, it did not taste fresh and was totally bland. First time at this restaurant, will definitely be my last. read more

We love ordering takeout from Jasmine Garden a few times a month. They have authentic Chinese dishes (Yang Chow Fried Rice and Chinese Greens in Garlic Sauce sooo yummy) in addition to traditional Americanized Chinese food like awesome boneless spareribs, crispy egg roll, Orange Chicken, Egg Foo Yong, etc. All dishes fresh and delicious. Sushi here is fantastic too. We've eaten sushi at all competitors in Mansfield and Foxboro...hands down JG is the best selection of unique rolls plus the traditional maki highlight the quality fish. It is rare for one restaurant to excel at multiple cuisines and the team here does! We have multiple food allergies too and they are always so accommodating even calling us back to double check safety. Hidden gem! read more

This is our favorite Chinese food around town... the delivery is always super fast (piping hot food) and we're on the other side of town. The chicken wings are seriously delicious - huge and full of flavor. I've ordered half a dozen different entrees with them and have enjoyed the variety... ya never really know if one place has a shining dish and the rest is "meh" ...this has all been really good. Both chicken dishes were just OK, sauce not that flavorful and a bit oily. We ordered no MSG so perhaps that affected their intended flavor. Daughter liked her fried rice, but the sesame beef was a little too chewy. We were of like mind that we wouldn't mind eating it again (they deliver in our area) but that it wouldn't be our first choice. Also, while we noted a shellfish allergy and they assured us no oyster sauce in the chicken dish, did have a mild reaction, so something was cross-contaminated. read more

Not sure if all the good reviews are a fluke but we just were not impressed. Lightning fast delivery - scared us as we are a bit of a ways away from the restaurant. It made sense once we tasted the food. Seems like they are afraid of seasoning. Everything was mush, like it was cooked in the morning and sat in a steamer all day. My husband will eat most things and he barely touched it. Comparable to mall Chinese food. read more
