Have been getting take out here for 25+ years and was always pleased with the food. Ordered last week, spring rolls were dripping with grease. Fried rice and lo mein also were oily. I threw out spring rolls after a couple bites and had a little of the rice. My wife and I were both eating Tums later. The food was pretty good. I ended up getting a combo appetizer C plate with boneless spareribs, chicken fingers, and crabragoon, all of which were tasty. The new spicy, sticky wings, though, wasn't spicy at all, which was a bit disappointing. Next time, I'll ask them to make the wings extra spicy. The sauce was good and sweet. My favorite spot is closed Mondays and I was craving Kung Pao chicken. I found this place not far away and gave it a try. While not an immediate favorite, it was solid. I didn't see a regular chicken dish on the menu so I got the listed three delight variation with shrimp, beef and chicken. The beef and chicken were a bit soft for my liking and I wish it was cooked a bit more firmly. But the overall sauce and vegetable medley were pretty good. Updated review. Ate here again recently and everything was great including the Crab Rangoon. Hopefully the onion problem was a one time thing. The group had fisherman platter, sesame chicken, Crab Rangoon and some kind of beef dish along with egg drop soup and chicken noodle. Everyone loved the meal. Something has happened here recently. For years this has been our go-to spot for Chinese takeout. We bought a variety of dishes for a football get-together yesterday, and to a person there was great dissatisfaction with the food. The meat in the pork and beef dishes was just fatty gristle, with people actually having to pull the unchewable meat from their mouths. My all-time favorite there, the chicken egg-fu-yung was inedible... tasted greasy and uncooked. For the first time in a long time, no one took home leftovers with them and we did the previously unthinkable... we threw our leftovers out. I am not sure if the change was in how the dishes were prepared, or rather that cheaper, inferior ingredients are being used. Totally disappointed. We may give it one more try to see if this experience was a one-off, but if not, we will not be going back. read more

We moved here a couple years ago and were missing some of the comfort food we had available in the cities, so we are so happy we tried them out. They have quick service and the food is delicious! Seriously, their food is on par with major city Chinese restaurants. Ordering online is super easy and convenient. Their turnaround time is pretty quick too. Just make sure you double check your items before you leave-- they sometimes forget an item and this has happened a couple times. Other than that, they are great for take out Chinese food! read more

I wrote a review back in 2022 that was raving about this restaurant. I have to say that my opinion has drastically changed since that time. I don't know what has happened since my original review...but, the quality of their food has gone way downhill! My most recent purchase from them was last night. I got a Tidbit platter, and House rice. I have never spent money on such wasteful food....EVER! All of the tidbits seemed old and dry. For instance, the chicken terriyaki and boneless spareribs were as dry as Jerky.. I would never recommend this restaurant as a good choice for chinese food again! And, the last time that I wasn't satified with their food I called and complained...they did not try to resolve the issue! read more

We've been coming to and ordering from here since they opened. The food is generally consistent and very good. Our only complaint is that they stopped including fortune cookies at some point during the pandemic and still have not returned to including them. We understand that some restaurants had to resort to some cuts during lockdown, but most of this business is takeout and patronage appears to be back to normal. Unfortunately we won't be supporting Hong Kong any longer! Rude customer service, missing items more often on delivery orders and unwilling to make things right. My wife called them regarding a delivery order issue, they admitted it was their mistake but it took pleading to get them to send us the food we paid for that was missing. We live 5 minutes from them and it took over an hour for chicken lo mein to arrive (oh and when we did receive it, it was cold and literally had 3 pieces of chicken). We ordered spicy salmon, salmon avocado, and eel avocado sushi and beef chow foon. The salmon avocado and eel sushi were tasty and fresh. Usually, most other sushi restaurants I go to the only give a small piece of salmon in the roll, but this place gives a large chunk of salmon in the roll! At the edge of the park I watched them proceed through the crosswalk only to have them stop and retreat when a driver plowed through their path And pulled into your establishment. Visited Hong Kong Treasure last night around 8:30 with 8 adults and 3 children. We had been over at the La Salette Shrine Christmas Display and Hong Kong Treasure was nearby and had reasonable reviews on Yelp so we came over. This was our first time at the restaurant. The dinning room had zero customers seated at the tables but a few takeout customers were waiting for food. I helped the waitress move a couple of tables together to accommodate our party. We then waited for a long while before anyone came to take our order. I wanted to leave but with 3 hungry little girls, my wife, who is the girls Grandmother, informed me we were staying put. It was not near posted closing hours but most of the staff was eating and seemed more concerned with consuming their own meals then waiting on us. I eventually signaled the waitress who came over and took our order for drinks and appetizers. We started out with 3 pu pu platters, beer, wine, soda and water. The pu pu platters arrived fairly rapidly and were OK. Nothing special but not bad , hot and appeared freshly made. A glass of the plum wine was awful and was sent back. We then ordered pad thai, house special low mien, pork/beef chow mien and house special fried rice. The pad thai was absolutely HORRIBLE, consisting of thin rice noodles seemingly steamed or boiled only. Fermented fish sauce is a wonderful addition to many Asian Dishes including pud thai but it is intended to enhance flavor and add umami, fish sauce should not be the dominate flavor. There was so much fish sauce on these boiled noodles it was unpleasant in both taste and odor. This so called pud thai consisted of thin, white steamed noodles and it actually STUNK from 10 x as much fish sauce as should have been used . I've eaten a lot of thai food and spent weeks in Thailand, this was without question the absolute worse attempt at pud thai I have ever seen, it was garbage. The chow mien was flavorless, consisting of bean sprouts and celery in a gelatinous gravy with way too much corn starch or whatever thickening agent that was being used. A table spoon or two of flavorless ground pork (I think) topped the pile of white jelly. The visual appeal of the chow mien was ZERO, reminded me of jelly fish plopped on a plate. The "house fried rice" much like the pud thai appeared to be steamed or boiled and not fried at all. It was pure white, just like steamed rice looks. The rice did have a few pieces of vegetables and a little meat mixed in. It was not what I've come to expect as FRIED rice that I have eaten all across both Asia and the United States. The low mien was somewhat "normal" again it was the "house special" and again there were scant vegetables or meat but at least the noodles had been prepared as one would expect low mien in New England to be served. There was evidence that the low mien noodles, unlike either the pud thai or the rice, had been stir fried and thankfully not steamed or boiled. The soda was served in glasses both flat and lacking flavor so much so you could taste the chlorine that was either in the soda water or the ice cubes over the cola flavor. I don't know if they had a soda fountain or were pouring the soda from already open 2 liter bottles but it was awful. They should switch to cans. I try to be fair in my reviews both good and bad, we did have a quiet table in the back of the restaurant to ourselves and while the service was weak and most of the food dismal or worse, the dining area was clean, rest rooms adequate. Our bill was under $200 which would have been very reasonable if the food had been better. It is very rare that I ever tip below 20% but given the lack of attention from the wait staff 15% was all I could muster. If there was a .5 star rating, I'd go with that for the pu pu platters and the canned beer but since there isn't this place gets a 1 which is too high. I would say if your looking for good food the Coney island Hot Dog place across the street would probably be a better choice. This evening we stopped in at Hong Kong Treasure after wandering La Salette for a few hours. This was our first time dining in Attleboro and I can honestly say that I am happy that we stopped in at this restaurant. From the outside this restaurant doesn't seem appealing, but I'm happy we decided to go in. The interior is a bit outdated and worn down, but the staff and food were both incredible. The wait staff was extremely polite and actually spoke to us unlike other Chinese restaurants we have attended. When it came to the food, we were blown away with all of the items we ate. We had pu pu platters, fried rice, Pad Thai, as well as some sushi. Everything was cooked to perfection and nothing was greasy. The only flaw we found with this restaurant was that they brought out the food in a weird order (pu pu platters, then sushi, then rice/pad Thai.) This was weird because the entrées should have come out at once, but we didn't really mind and focused on destroying the food placed in front of us. Very disappointed. We have been ordering from Hong Kong for several years. However, based on the last 2 orders and customer service we have experienced, we will not be going back. 1st experience, we did not receive my son's order. I called Hong Kong to resolve the issue and were accused of lying. During this experience, they charged us for the food and delivered it to us 30 mins later. Because we have gone there so long, we chalked it up to a bad day and forgot about it. 2nd experience, again my son's food was left out. I called again to resolve the issue. She did confirm it was the restaurant's mistyped. Although she did admit it was their mistake, she made me feel pretty stupid I didn't understand why my email receipt indicated we were charged. My question was answered with, "Like I said before..." I was charged for the food and was told we would receive it in 30 mins maybe sooner. We received my son's food 1 hr after I called. My intention was not to write this review. I actually called the resturant to give my feedback and share they lost a loyal customer. I shared the last 2 experiences and that I felt it was handled incorrectly. Unfortunately, after banter back and forth, I was hung up on. They are back! Total honesty. We gave up on Hong Kong Treasures early into the Covid lock down. The quality and consistency of their food had taken a very bad turn. There are way too many good Chinese places in the area so we moved on. Fast forward a year. We gave them another shot last night. I'm happy to report and share that THEY ARE BACK! We ordered all of our old favorites. Wow. Without exception, everything was delicious, fresh and flavorful.
