Sushi, two chicken dishes (w/ broccoli and w/ mixed vegetables) wonton soup, and sesame beef combo dinner with fried rice and chicken fingers. Sushi was flavorful but sashimi cuts were very small. Both chicken dishes were just OK, sauce not that flavorful and a bit oily. We ordered no MSG so perhaps that affected their intended flavor. Daughter liked her fried rice, but the sesame beef was a little too chewy. We were of like mind that we wouldn't mind eating it again (they deliver in our area) but that it wouldn't be our first choice. Also, while we noted a shellfish allergy and they assured us no oyster sauce in the chicken dish, did have a mild reaction, so something was cross-contaminated. read more

We have eaten a lot of Chinese food in China town in NYC and Chinatown in San Francisco. The Jasmine food was very flavorful but was less salty than normal. The servers were engaging and efficient. Not sure if all the good reviews are a fluke but we just were not impressed. Lightning fast delivery - scared us as we are a bit of a ways away from the restaurant. It made sense once we tasted the food. Seems like they are afraid of seasoning. Everything was mush, like it was cooked in the morning and sat in a steamer all day. This place is great. I grew up in the NYC area, so I know good Chinese food. I have been searching high and low for some good old Chinese food. The "high" being high-dollar and high-class places, and the"low" being joints at which I'm concerned my car tires might be missing when I walk out. But I can finally end my search because Jasmine Garden checks most of the boxes. First, the pricing is not bad at all. It's not super cheap but it's not super expensive. Second, I have eaten here 10+ times and have yet had to run to the bathroom (if you know what I mean). There are a lot of Chinese restaurants that do this to me because I swear the food is old. Here there is no worry about eating old food. Third, they have a large selection for the family. I am basic Chinese food type of guy (beef and broccoli, chicken and snow peas, general Tso's chicken, etc.) but they also have sushi and Thai food. My wife eats the sushi and Thai, and she has yet run to the crapper because of bad food. Lastly, they have this server whose name I think is is Teng, and he is amazing. When I come in, he remembers me and my family. He even remembers what I ordered the past time. When I bring in my crazy kids he remembers what grade they are in. This guy's memory is awesome and should be a doctor or a lawyer! If I was going to start a restaurant I would hire this guy before I would hire a chef. He is that amazing! In conclusion, if you want great Chinese food and don't want be sitting on the can all night go here. If Teng is around you, will have a 5 Star dinning experience. Really delicious food, fast and friendly service. I went in for takeout but the restaurant had a nice atmosphere and was very clean. The gyoza was done perfectly and the rice noodle dish I ordered was wonderfully seasoned. My daughter got the spicy tuna maki and said it was definitely a lot better than other Asian fusion restaurants in the area. Prices are extremely reasonable. The wife and I decided to check out the newly opened venue. We chose early afternoon to avoid crowds because the last couple of times we drove by in the evening the place was packed. There is a nice new bar that accommodates about 10 patrons. There is no draft beer and the beer list reminds me of something out of the mid 80's. My wife had a Scorpion bowl which she described as delicious. JG offers both Chinese and Japanese Cuisine. My wife had one of their specials and enjoyed it very much. I had Tuna Sushi. I think it was called Tuna Tatani. The presentation was very nice, so much so that my wife and the bartender both took pictures. It was delicious and surprisingly filling, I highly recommend it. TERRIBLE AND DISGUSTING. I stopped in for lunch on a Tuesday and ordered the General Gaos lunch special. The chicken was so gross I could barely eat it and the fried rice was bland and awful. Just dined there for the first time. What terrific food and service!!!! Sat at the bar and Brian took great care of us! Ordered crab Rangoon to start and they were the best we've ever had! Light and tasty!! Then got beef with snow peas and pork fried rice. Delicious! Did not need any condiments with it! Also ordered chicken with cashews and house fried rice. Also delicious!!! After driving by a shutdown restaurant in this location daily for the last year, finally something has opened up here, and its AMAZING! We went to Jasmine Garden on Sunday, a week after they officially opened up shop. There is a huge lack of good Chinese/Japanese restaurants in this area, and even less options when it comes to good sushi, let me tell you Jasmine Garden just became our go-to place. The building is the same as the previous restaurant that was there, but it looks like they have dome some sprucing up and it is quite clean. The food was ridiculously good, we were there for lunch but tried 3 different sushi rolls, and the crab rangoon. The table next to us ordered a few larger dishes, one of which was the orange chicken and it smelled and looked so good we thought about getting an order to go. All in all; Very friendly host and waitstaff Very reasonable prices AMAZING food, can't emphasize this enough! Very convenient location with plenty of parking The only reason I did not give 5 stars, and this is a HUGE factor for me, was they do not have free refills on fountain sodas. Like this is 2018, soda is automatically free refills pretty much everywhere you go for a sit down meal. For two of us, we got 3 sushi rolls, 1 order of crab rangoon, and each had coke. The bill came to around $40, but almost $10 of that was for soda.......not cool. And yeah, maybe I am writing this in hopes that the owner sees this and fixes this, I plan on being a weekly customer here.....pssst I'll update this to 5 stars as soon as free refills are given! I decide to get some Chinese food from Tsang's. I love their food and have been getting it for over 20 years. When I got there the sign said Jasmine Garden. I was so sad, not to see the usual menu but I decide to try it anyway. I got chicken with Garlic sauce and pork fried rice. It turned out to be the worst food I have ever ordered from any Restaurant in Norton. The little brown chicken parts looked like they were from the lung or head of the chicken. No white chicken at all. The rice was light brown and had a burned after taste. I eat Chinese food about once per month. Without Tsangs, I don't know where I will go. Placed an order through Yelp - email said the order would be ready in 15-35 minutes. Got there at 30 minutes and had to wait in line for 30 minutes even though I paid ahead. I called when I arrived after other people in line told me to and was told my order was ready and I would be called when I could come in and get it. There were about 7 people ahead of me and they all called and were told the same thing... Eventually we all just go in one at a time and when it's my turn I wait inside, am handed my order and told there's no rice in my order. What?? When has food never come with rice! All the Chinese food places I've been that was a first for me. I get home open the takeout and the fried wontons were open. They tasted horrible - hard as rocks and inedible no filling whatsoever I threw them out immediately. At least the chicken and broccoli was warm but the broccoli wasn't cooked and the portions were so small. And NO RICE! So I had to wait another half and hour while I made my own. So I will never come back here again, and if you decide to make sure to call and ask for rice and be prepared to wait in a nonsensical line. read more

Best Chinese food around! We've been there several times and the food is always fresh and delicious! If something's not on the menu they'll make it for you. Highly recommend the lettuce cups and spicy chicken wings. Anyone who likes Sushi would love their Dragon Maki. Brian's sauces are the best as well as his Mai Tai's and Cosmos! It's a small family run business and they go out of their way to keep you coming back. If you're in the area you've got to stop and try this place. read more

We ordered take out food from here the second week it was opened at 1:00 pm....a simple order of a pu pu platter and pork fried rice. I was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. I arrived in 15 minutes and was told it was not ready. Okay, I was there 5 minutes early....Every 10 minutes, someone would tell me it was not ready. There were maybe 3 or 4 tables of customers that I observed them delivering food to and 3 take out pick up orders.....and I waited....and waited. Finally, after waiting 35 minutes (55 minutes since I had placed my order) I was told my order was ready. The cashier leaned over and whispered that there weren't any boneless spare ribs because they had run out, but they gave me two extra chicken wings....wow. When does a pup platter and rice take 55 minutes to cook? The food was okay at best....The chicken wings were bloody inside, so I baked them another 10 minutes....the beef teriyaki were dry and chewy....the other things were just okay. I love egg rolls but they seemed smaller than usual and were a tad greasy....All I can say is.....Tsangs, please come back! read more

I have eaten at jasmine garden for a long time. I am also pregnant. I have been ordering the salmon roll because it doesn't have mercury in it. And I confirmed it with my OB and he told me salmon was good for me raw or not. So I ordered food yesterday and it was the wrong thing. It was tuna. I spoke to a woman there and she had been giving me attitude. I asked to speak to Brian and she said she was the manager. I've only had one other problem with them. The other problem was that I found glass in my food. I had taken a picture and sent it to Brian the store manager and he fixed the problem. She had been on the call when I called for that situation and again gave me attitude. There was another time when I asked if they could do spicy smoke salmon before I knew I could eat raw salmon and she answered and gave me attitude that time too. And told me I shouldn't order from. Jasmine garden because I asked if they had spicy smoked salmon. Then again she told me yesterday told me that I shouldn't order there anymore. And now I'm not because A. I'm pregnant I told jasmine garden this. And for the most part they've been pretty good about it. Until yesterday. If you have eaten and have had a bad experience please tell other people. They are cross contaminating and giving out wrong orders and I've talked to some of my friends and apparently this has been happening for a while read more
