Even though I just ate Thai food yesterday, I wanted to try this to compare to one of my favorite restaurants (Sushi Thai in Naples and Bonita Springs). The chicken panang curry was made custom (change zucchini to carrots). At first glance, it didn't look like it would be enough food for a fatso like me, and I was thinking I might need to order an appetizer. I hadn't eaten much all day (I know, hard ro believe)... By the time I hit the bottom of the bowl, I was full! So full, I almost didn't order the homemade coconut ice cream with fried bananas (I know, fruit, but it is fried). Ice cream was very creamy. Very tasty. Apparently I found room to eat it all. The place itself is very nice, clean, well decorated. Prices seem reasonable as well. Service was very good. Instead of being out back smoking ans talking on the phone to Gavina or T'Cloris (as younger servers tend to do these days), my (more mature) waitress would constantly look over to see if I needed anything and occasionally ask (not too much). The only reasons I didn't give 5 stars is that the food, though very good, wasn't aa good as the other place I frequent and the bathroom needs some attention/cleaning. read more

The hostess/waitress was very friendly and, while also waiting on tables that were sat, took my order as soon as I was ready. I got the Musaman Curry and rangoons. I asked for Thai hot but other than one or two bites with a kick, was disappointed. There was also a lot of potatoes vs anything else in the dish. Overall, decent flavors but a bit underwhelming. The rangoons were OK but, again, a bit underwhelming. The flavors in the curry were very good, just felt a little cheated in the final product for the price, hence the drop to 3 stars. read more

In other words, they serve you how much you should really eat in a meal.Most Thai restaurants usually serve bigger sized dishes.This is not a bad thing, just wished I had a little more.It took awhile for someone to get our order but once our order was in, the food came out in 5 minutes. Their menu is not very big.Unfortunately they did not have any "kid friendly" dishes so our little one did not eat until after we left.I don't expect them to have mac 'n' cheese obviously, but you could easily fry some chicken pieces/strips in tempura or something. I couldn't order online because they don't offer the dish that I want, amazing beef, on any delivery website. I ordered the amazing beef and shrimp pad Thai. When I got home, I saw that the portion of the amazing beef was more like a lunch portion. There were four very small pieces of broccoli and not that much beef. There was plenty of peanut sauce, however, so I'm glad I didn't buy extra. The pad Thai onions were severely overcooked, and the shrimp was definitely overcooked as it was very, very rubbery. I'm quite surprised by this order, because I've ordered from this restaurant for years, and it just seems like it's slowly gone downhill in the quality. read more

I have only had take away from Jasmine Thai, but the dining space is very clean and elegant. I have have enjoyed entrees here--the portions were generous and tasty. Pumpkin and massaman curry dishes were both delicious. I found the pumpkin curry to be very dense and heavy--only a very small portion can be eaten comfortably. Spring rolls, though good, a bit brown for my liking. I do appreciate the doily included in the spring roll take away container--just a small touch with a big effect. Anytime we're looking for Thai food in our local area we always come to this restaurant! I've been coming here for years and I'm never disappointed as we always get the same great service and same great food consistently! Food: For those that are familiar with Thai food many of the dishes come with rice or noodles and some sort of spicy curry or broth sauce. Jasmine Thai takes the time to adjust to spiciness and you can even get it mild for those that don't like anything spicy. My favorite dishes would be the pad Thai, Which is what hubby gets every single time with chicken. My other favorite is the pad sei eu. This this is very similar to the pad Thai but it comes with a brown sauce broccoli and wider rice noodles. I really enjoy the food here because going gluten-free if you're doing only rice items you can eat rice noodles or rice itself. Service: The service is always wonderful when we come here! The waitstaff is familiar with our faces and even when we come get food to go they know who we are. The food is brought out very quickly and the staff is extra pleasant! For those in the Brandon area I suggest going to Jasmine Thai if you're looking for authentic atmosphere for Thai food and awesome food to boot! read more

While the decor of the restaurant impressed me, the food didn't as much. I was excited to eat some Thai food. Wasn't the worst I've eaten, but also wasn't the best Let start with the yellow curry. The potato was not cooked all the way, chicken was dry, and the portion was so small. It seemed like they gave us one scoop of it and another scoop of rice. I don't need to eat for two, but that was a joke! specially since that was my bf plate! The sauce was tasty tho. Pat se-ew was the dish I ordered. The noodle dishes were $12-13, which was high considering the to-go portion was small. We had pad thai and pad se ew, both were below average. They were edible, but lacked layered thai flavor typically found in these dishes. The chicken sauté was also edible, but it used dark meat, when I am used to white meat.... Overall, this place isn't bad if you are in a pinch and want something quick in this area. However, I strongly recommend driving the extra 10 mins to Thai Chilli Pepper on Bloomingdale. read more

I went for lunch on New Year's Day. We were seated right away to a quaint booth in a beautifully decorated room. The reasturant was extremely clean. The service was EXCELLENT. I started with the Tum Yum soup with tofu and it was tasty, hot and full of veggies. The Spring roll was also DELICIOUS, fresh, hot and crispy...YUM. For my main I tried something I've never had before it was the Siam with chicken. I really have nothing to compare this to but even though it was indicated as a spicy dish (I love my Thai food SPICY) it hardly had any heat in it at all. I was surprised at how sweet the dish was..I am more of a savory person so this disappointed me a little. But, the portion was spot on. The rice, chicken, and veggies cooked really well and I did finish my meal. I probably wouldn't order that dish again...not because of the dish itself or the way it was cooked but entirely due to my person taste preferences. I plan on eating here again and giving the Green Curry with Grouper a try next. I encourage you to give it a shot as well....nice place in Brandon to satisfy your Thai food craving. read more

Two recommended dishes are the red curry and spicy noodles. The red curry tastes fresh and has the right balance of coconut and spice. The spicy noodles are an interesting alternative to Pad Thai.
