We may have finally found our go-to place for Chinese take out! Ordering was easy on their website and the food was ready as estimated. The Hot and Sour soup is packed with veggies and egg threads. It's a bit more hot than sour, but that's fine by me. Chicken and House Special Lo Mien were spot on. Full of veggies and meat, and had a nice smoky flavor from being tossed in the wok. We'll definitely be back for other entrees when the craving for Chinese hits again. read more

This place is a dive and I was reluctant to try it, but the reviews were good. I am so glad we did. OMG! It was soooooooooooo good! We had General Tso's chicken (May be the best I've ever had!) and sweet and sour pork. The pork fried rice and eggrolls were also really good. But ladies, that General Tso got to making me feel a certain type of way .....We've found our new go to for Chinese. I highly recommend you check them out. Great food, always consistent. Hands down the best Chinese(Taiwan?) restaurant around here and also better than all the ones in the area I moved from. So far I've ordered Vegetable fried rice, vegetable lo mein, chicken teriyaki app, egg rolls, shrimp egg rolls, and crab Rangoon(not a big fan of these). I placed an order online and showed up 40 minutes later and my food wasn't even started. Waited another 20 for it to be ready and yes they give you free donuts. For me wasn't worth the wait nothing was that great while it wasn't bad just I have had better. Probably not going to by on my normal rotation but try for yourself. read more

As a New Yorker, this is the most authentic Ny-style Chinese cuisine I've ever come across. I cannot rave about this place enough.

1st time I ordered and I would order again to try other dishes. I had the Mongolian beef combo plate which I felt was very tasty but possibly could have had a little more flavor. These side of fried rice was also lacking in flavor but the quality of the food itself was good. The egg rolls were good. My boyfriend ordered the sweet and sour chicken, which I tasted a piece of two of the chicken and I thought it was good. Food was packed well, egg rolls were good. We also ordered steamed dumplings to eat tonight, New year's Eve. Maybe I can add to my review after we have them. read more

So dang good. I'm from New York and this is the closest I have gotten to that taste. I've only tried the wings (to make sure it was legit) crab Rangoon (a bi too much cheese) and the fried rice which was my favorite of the places in Riverview and the young lady behind the register is very nice. The only thing I would say is that it isn't in the best building but hey in New York the best food is almost always in a scary looking place. read more

Late evening I was hungry, heard on social media that this was "the place" in good ole Gibtown to get Chinese. This place is right across from gagels auto sales and in the same plaza as family dollar. In the heart of Gibtown. To order you have to call ahead or you have to go in and order in basically a hallway spaced area. Their dining room is closed. A few people swore their fried rice was the best. I ordered and waited outside. This is a hole in the wall type dive, I love places like this, the gritty street feel, the occasional unsavories lingering and cars rolling by bumping music. There was quite a few folks lined up at the door and more were arriving by the minute as I waited to pick up their call ahead orders. This place is older but clean and their kitchen looked clean and organized, 4 people working in their areas cranking food out. There was a jeep club meeting just outside in the parking lot so the plaza was buzzing with activity. After 15 min passed I got my food, order was correct and they provided forks and sauces such as soy and sweet and sour. I ordered general Tso, fried rice and crab Rangoon. Food was hot tso chicken was good, not the best not the worst about average. The egg roll the same, now for the fried rice these people were raving about, it was just ok. I mean good but again not the best or worth raving about. Don't get me wrong this place is good, and maybe I had my hopes set high because of a few folks raving about this place. For Chinese food, I could go to the place closer and prob never know the difference. I will say while I enjoyed everything, the crab Rangoon was good. I would order again if I'm the neighborhood, but I wouldn't drive across town to order. read more

Outstanding! Really hot (temp wise) food. Will definitely return. I just recently moved to the Riverview are and was looking for some good Chinese food. With the move my usual Chinese food place was to far away. I did a quick search and found this place. At first I was not sure about it as it only had 3 reviews with 2 1/2 stars. I then noticed it had 20 something google reviews with a better rating. I decided to give it a try, and I'm really glad I did. I love little hole in the wall places and this definitely fits that type. When I pulled into the plaza I actually could not find the place right away. When I walked in I saw what the other reviews had talked about, the main room was kind of dingy and definitely would seem suspect. Along the back wall they have all of there bulk items (styrofoam trays, cups, fork etc). There are a couple of booths and a bathroom. The food is fantastic!! Just as I had heard on the google reviews. The claim on the menu is that this is "New York Style" Chinese. I'm not sure what other kinds of Chinese food there is but in my experience it's always good then it's "New York Style." I got the chicken with Garlic sauce combo, quart of General Tso's and extra plain fried rice. The combo is your standard, the main dish with rice and an egg roll. I found all the food to be fantastic. The food was presented nicely and just had a look of a healthy meal. I did not see anything that appeared to be suspect as I have found at other Chinese food places. I was able to identify each and every ingredient. The mushrooms, peppers and mushrooms all looked extremely fresh. The chicken was very tender and tasted great. The General Tso's was very good also, not very spicy but still delicious. The rice was probably the best I have had in a long long time it was cooked to perfection and seemed as though they had just finished cooking it. The temperature of the food was piping hot and smelled delicious. It took a while to cool and I found it hard not did in right away despite my burning mouth. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for good Chinese food. I will be back soon to see if I can say the same after my second trip. read more

This place is a hidden gem in the heart of Gibsonton. Don't expect much from the building, or plaza it's in, but wow the food is amazing! My go to is the General Tso, Bourbon chicken, and Orange Chicken. The rice and Lo mein are also very good. My husband and I are never disappointed when we order take out. This Chinese restaurant is an old building that's a little dilapidated, but the food is always good. There is seating inside, but I just get my food to go. I ordered the Shrimp and Broccoli here a few times and the shrimp is always tender and is bigger than the shrimp you see at other Chinese takeout places. The fried rice is also pretty good, not a ton of soy sauce where you have to drink 3 glasses of water later afterwards. So if you're looking for a good Chinese take place for lunch and you're in the area, you should definitely try this one. read more

Ordered their Mongolian Beef and House special lo mein dinner combos with an order of their chicken teriyaki sticks and Beef teriyaki. Honestly disappointed for a 4.5 star reviewed place. The pork fried rice was bland. The Lo mein was bland too. The Mongolian beef was decent for the most part. Beef teriyaki barely had any flavoring and was almost jerky like since it was so dry. The chicken teriyaki was better but still not up par to other Chinese take out places. Only thing really good is the servicing size of the combo meal. Decent Chinese takeout in the area. Our usual dishes are sesame chicken and chicken and broccoli can't go wrong with those. We've also ordered the Wonton Soup and chicken wings which are also pretty good. We always call ahead and by the time we arrive food is ready so no waiting time. read more

This restaurant isn't much to look at on the outside and you might even question if you're at the right place but take a step inside and you'll soon see why this place is 5 stars! From the warm and friendly family that runs this place to the free doughnuts they always offer and most importantly, some of the best Chinese food in this area. I've tried a few places but this one was recommended by a friend and I'm so glad she told me about this little gem. Every dish we've tried has been fantastic and so far each and every dish has been delectable. I can't even narrow it down to one dish. The chicken wings were fried fresh a worth a small wait for your made to order food. The girl at front works hard to accommodate lots of orders at night. All were hot fresh, and just great. Kitchen is clean, dining area clean. Maybe be outdayed, but that's irrelevant when the customer service and food quality are amazing. This is ok Chinese. The inside of the restaurant is awful. No AC, interior is crumbling, and it is in a bad area. It is impeccably clean though. The food is meh at best. I had the general tso and it was ok. My wife had the beef and broccoli and said it was good. The kids had the house lomain and seemed to like it. Overall I would order takeout from here if everywhere else was closed but we will be looking for a better option read more
