Never answers phone. So I can't ever make an appointment. Every time I go to the business, it's closed.

Recently moved to the area and was looking for a spot. The reviews all raved Jasmine so I thought I'd give her a try. She's the only one working at the time so if she's with a costumer, you'll be waiting a while. I made the mistake of not remembering my appt time so she took someone else. She said an hour and a half so I went home and came back later. She was still with her customer. Which is great because she takes her time with her craft but I ended up waiting another hour there. She's very friendly and super sweet. She kept the conversation going and listened to what I wanted. She stayed open later than she was suppose to to accommodate me which is sweet. Didn't rush at all. I got a no-chip in a beautiful color. The shapes of my nails ( after looking at them for sometime after) are a bit crooked and one of my nails chipped the very next day. So my first experience was ok but I don't think I'll be going back. Not because she did a bad job because she didn't. She just didn't the quality work that I'm used to with my previous girl. But give her a try! Just because I didn't like it doesn't mean you won't. You might love her! *UPDATE* after a week, I now only have 2 nails still standing on one hand and three on the other. I don't normally leave reviews, but I definitely had to especially since I found Jasmine after scouring many nail salon reviews on Yelp! The pictures featured are my nails freshly done at her shop, then the same nails over two weeks later. Incredible. I am absolutely amazed with her talent and ability to make my nail dreams come true. I've always wanted a nail artist with impeccable attention to detail, endless creativity, and a desire to stay on current trends --Jasmine is all of that and more! Booking an appointment was so simple; I just called and inquired about walk-in availability. She told me her next opening and we were all set! Her store is absolutely lovely and has tons of cute merchandise. I felt right at home with her immediately and have never experienced a manicure like she does. Even over two weeks later, I haven't broken a single nail (and I'm insanely clumsy) and they still sparkle like new. This nail salon was amazing! Jasmine went above and beyond to get my girlfriend and her sister a mani/pedi and was very clean. This was the first time my girlfriend got her pedicure and she felt very comfortable with Jasmine. I recommend this place to anyone trying to avoid dirty and unsanitary nail salons because Jasmine makes sure to use new or clean equipment on your nails! I came kind of late 30 mins before closing time, but Jasmine was very kind to take me in still and did not rush on my nails at all. I'm new to Logan Square and I found Jasmine via yelp because I was looking for a new nail home. Jasmine has a full salon dedicated to beauty! She was professional and down to earth. I received a pedicure with a Shea butter rub. My feet were soft like pillows! I got a full Acrylic set with mood color changing gel nail polish in a coffin shape. What I got vs what I wanted. Very disappointing, considering it took 2 hours to do and was very overpriced. Would never recommend this place to anybody. Update: after not liking my review, Jasmine contacted, harassed, and threatened my friend who went with me. She threatened her saying she has kids my friends age and even mentioned my friends area where she lived. She called repeatedly, spam messaged her, and threatened to call the police because my honest review "harassed her business ". Jasmine is nothing but an adult child, who did a very poor job on something she claims to have experience in. Instead of bettering herself in her business by taking criticism like an ADULT would, she threatens and harasses a teenager over a bad yelp review. Her work took over four hours total to do two sets of nails, was extremely overpriced, and she did a poor job on my nails(and my friends nail broke that very night). I would not recommend coming here to anybody as you will waste your time, money, and have the possibility of being harassed and threatened if you're just honest about her work. I came here because I was in the area and saw all the other reviews. I called to make a last-minute appointment and Jasmine accommodated me. She was extremely friendly and sweet, but most importantly, I got the best pedicure of my life, no joke. She also has a great polish selection, although I'm not too picky. Excellent! I booked a last minute appointment with Jasmine. I didnt know what to expect seeing it was my 1st time visiting her. Jasmine is an amazing woman. She cares about her craft and takes her time. The last place I went to destroyed my nails I didn't even want to look at my hands. It was like a complete 360! My nails looked fabulous and stayed looking fabulous. No chipping, cracking, breaking. She took her time and made my full set look so natural. The only regret I have is I didn't take a better picture. I wanted to wait and see if my nails held up before I wrote my review..... and they did just that! Update! I've lost track of how many times I've returned to Jasmine in the last 8 months. She ALWAYS makes everyone feel welcome, stays open late, is flexible about changing appointments or when I'm running late, never makes me feel bad. I've seen her take spur of the moment clients from walking in on multiple occasions. She's extremely down to earth and enjoys making her clients happy! All of that taken into account her work is also impeccable! Longest wear out of all of her work and she guarantees her work. It chips - she fixes it for free! She personally gets to know clients and cares about them! She remembers birthdays and important things going on in your life. She is not your average nail tech! Don't sleep on her. read more

What a super cute, quaint little spot! The kind of atmosphere you choose for a girls "mani/pedi" night... The owner Jasmine was a gracious, accommodating host and knew I was headed to Amsterdam and wanted something fun... Pretty much had the works- full set with designs/shellac and a pedicure with shellac. She has a dizzying array of shades in both gel and regular polish, not to mention the trendy stuff like rose gold and mood colors. She was patient and went out of her way to make sure the results were pitch perfect. Don't leave there without a pedi... it was HEAVENLY!! I left with baby soft feet... I called in to get a quote on a manicure and pedicure. The woman who answered the phone, in assuming it was Jasmine by her confidence, said she could not give me the price over the phone. She then asked if I'd like to schedule an appointment. I told her yes, but I'd like to know the price before making an appointment. With annoyance and attitude in her voice she said she could not give me the price unless I come in. I was speaking to her, trying to reason, and she hung up on my mid sentence. I then called back. I told her i was the one she just hung up on. Again, with even more annoyance and attitude in her tone she replied, "I'm busy right now and you don't want to make an appointment." CLICK. Mind you, I get my nails done once a week. I live in bucktown but passed by her nail shop while running errands. I searched her on Yelp and read good reviews. Amazing.! Felt so welcomed had a good time with Jasmine. Did my nails and my sister exactly how we wanted. She even took us even without appointment and even when it was close to her closing time. She definitely has two new clients. Jasmine is a good person to get your nails done and have a funny interesting conversation with and she even gave me and my sister pointers on how to keep are nails looking good and healthy. Needed somewhere to go on a Saturday EVENING and her shop came up. She fit me into her calendar for a 6 PM appointment- most shops around me close at 6. This is the worst nail salon I have ever gone to in all of Chicago. Terrible customer service, terrible quality, overpriced and took 2 hours and 45 min . As a person who gets their nails done on the usual I know how long it should normally take to get them done . I walked in for a fill in on my set along with a repair on three of my broken nails. Normally at any other nail salon it would take up to an hour to get them done with an hour and a half being the max due to the fact that I had a no chip. By the time that I saw that she had already taken 2 hours and still wasn't anywhere near close to done I started becoming agitated and mad . The owner then asked me if I had an issue and I told her I did because I was an impatient person and she still wasn't close to finishing after 2 hours of sitting on her chair . She proceeded to go back and forth with me with a nasty attitude which was then that she preceded to tell me that she did not care about my business there because she had her own clientele. This establishment clearly doesn't care about ALL clientele and will never receive my business . She ended up taking 2 hours and 45 min to do a fill in with 3 broken nails , not only that but she charged me $50 and after only 5 days 2 of the nails she fixed are broken again as well as another one that she just filled in. I wish I could say that it was worth it and actually "professional" work but it's only been a week and too Many nails have broken. It wasn't even worth the money. Wouldn't recommend this salon to anybody I would give it a 0 rating but that's not an option. read more
