Doctor Shah spent 1.5 hours with me on my first office visit, treated me as an individual (not an age), and listened attentively to the pain, suffering, and frustration I was going thru. He reviewed all the medical records I brought with me, and requested a panel of other lab work, along with a couple thyroid tests I never heard of before. Nine months later almost to the day, I am sleeping better, I awake each morning lighter and happier, my hair loss has stopped, I am back at the gym able to workout, and my hoarse voice is gone. Since the first visit, I have had 2 additional teledoc calls with Dr. Shah. He always ends by saying: "Don't hesitate to call me - on my cell - if you have any questions or concerns." I had to contact my insurance company, their billing office, and finally office manager and they offered no resolution. I have no choice but to pay collections but I would NEVER return to this office because I genuinely feel scammed and taken advantage of as a patient. Almost need for his large reception room because there's rarely any waiting time involved with his schedule. He does require a concierge fee, however, which some may find discouraging. It's a higher level of service and attention that the fee covers. This is not a high volume, rushed medical practice. It's truly run like a small practice, where everyone treats you like family. He is very competent. Do not mistake happy talk and smiling faces as a sign of effective health care. He works very hard to make his patients feel comfortable and knows a lot more than he puts on. He's very smart, even for a doctor. And, he's not the slightest bit arrogant and full of himself. If you can accommodate the concierge fee, he's the obvious choice. Get starting right away. You will need to check, do paper work and wait until they call you like any other doctors office. However, waiting here is unusually long compared to other doctor´s offices. 30 minutes after paperwork, you will enter and a nurse will take your vitals and you will wait another 30 minutes for the doctor to come. The room is small and cold will and will only have 1 seat. If you need additional screening like X-Ray, you will continue to wait. We waited almost another 60 minutes just for someone to check on us. Long story short, almost 4 hours here for something that shouldn´t take more than an hour. But what was really upsetting was making the appointment for the return visit. According to the lady in the front, there was only 1 choice in time. And that time is during working hours. Most of the time when you make return appointments, there would be at least choices right? Not so here.
