I always have my next follow ups scheduled when I'm leaving the office, and I run into very little scheduling issues with that method.

I have had many endocrinologists over the years and have never had an additional charge for the doctor to review my CGM numbers with me?? Is that not included in the office visit charge? I had to contact my insurance company, their billing office, and finally office manager and they offered no resolution. I have no choice but to pay collections but I would NEVER return to this office because I genuinely feel scammed and taken advantage of as a patient. Almost need for his large reception room because there's rarely any waiting time involved with his schedule. He does require a concierge fee, however, which some may find discouraging. It's a higher level of service and attention that the fee covers. This is not a high volume, rushed medical practice. It's truly run like a small practice, where everyone treats you like family. He is very competent. Do not mistake happy talk and smiling faces as a sign of effective health care. He works very hard to make his patients feel comfortable and knows a lot more than he puts on. He's very smart, even for a doctor. And, he's not the slightest bit arrogant and full of himself. If you can accommodate the concierge fee, he's the obvious choice. Get starting right away. Dr. Colleen Coleman was recommended by three friends independent from one another (including two…read moredoctors whom we know) to tackle my wife's bilateral neck dissection for metastisiced thyroid cancer. We were absolutely terrified at first, but knew we were in good hands. Dr. Coleman spends the necessary time with her patients and often has to deliver difficult news, so there can be a wait. Must surgeons would just rush you through. Getting through this surgery was of course emotionally and physically demanding, so this was important. The surgery went smoothly. Dr. Coleman set us up with an oncologist and endocrinologist whom are also each at the top of their game. Nine months post-operation, my wife's cancer is under control due to Dr. Coleman's follow-ups. High-dose radiation took care of the thyroid cancer in her lungs, which is showing no signs of recurring, and the slim surgical scar across her neck is fading fast. Dr Coleman's skill is evident in how faint the scar is and continues to fade over time. There are no signs of any cancer remaining in her neck. We feel like we received the best care possible and are forever grateful for Dr. Colleen Coleman for saving my wife's life.

I'm young and stumbled across some growing thyroid nodules that my drs and I have been monitoring for years- it's been such a hassle to find a good endocrine dr.... my last one told me to leave and he couldn't help me. My mom just had her thyroid removed so I really felt the need to monitor mine. After my last Ultrasound I was in a panic thinking the worst.....I called so many and finally stumbled across dr Olsen- they were able to get me in way sooner than thought. Him and his nurse were ON it.... he literally showed up with my records I sent them the day before and had notes on everything.
