I had a great experience coming in around 11 am for lunch my daughter loved it my turkey sandwich was good and the salad bar was clean I can tell the manager cares... but the employees lack customer service the manager is a guy with glasses and looks like he cares about this place which is good I will be returning. read more

I love coming to Jason's deli. I ALWAYS get their managers special and it's so worth it! I get full with just the half sandwich and cup of soup. My favorite is the club royale with tomato basil soup. They even give you chips with the managers special so it's plenty of food. The price can be a little up there but the amount of food you get balances out to me. The kids meals are pretty good servings too not just a little sandwich. Also the fact that you can get a free cone or cup after eating is a plus. Especially if you have kids. read more

This place is great ... Awesome salad bar. I love that they have gluten free bread for their sandwiches..... Since I have celiacs disease I cant consume gluten, so this place is perfect for me and others who are on a gluten free diet. read more

Marginal at best. Service is VERY slow ANY time of day. Hot food comes luke warm and cold food is warm. The local delis are MUCH better.

Just ate my last 'Speciality Sandwich" from Jason's. The Amy Turkey O was pathetic.

Came here this afternoon around 11, my family and I wasted about $40 by becoming so grossed out with the food that we just up and left. My Cali club came with brown guacamole, cheese was a weird color (not mold but just weird). Both of us had a side salad, salad was not only wilting but also turning that red tint it does when going bad, tasted terrible. Kids would not eat their sandwiches. Jason's Deli is a great place for soup, sandwiches and salad. The service is slow during busy times. The California Club is great. Cheesy broccoli soup is great as well. read more

In town on business and wanted a late lunch of soup and salad. Found this Jason's Deli on Yelp and was a little bit leery after reading the reviews. When I walked in at 3:30 I found the restaurant very clean and the manager waited on me personally. My soup was tasty and hot and the salad bar fresh and had a large variety of items. I found nothing to complain about and returned the next day for lunch to find the same results. Very good Jason's Deli! read more

If I could give it zero stars, I would. Went to this place for a quick bite during a symposium at Texas Tech PA center at Midland College, and this place is gross. Gross food, the staff have no idea what they are doing (over charged plus I didnt even get the right order), the food was disgusting and the people "cleaning" the tables hit me with their food cart without even saying anything. Rude! The staff over charged me for 1/2 a sandwich and 1/2 a salad ($20.. excuse me?!?!?).. both came out disgusting, and I didn't even eat it btw, I left it on the table and walked to the bakery next door and bought a cookie to hold me over. The sandwich had old ingredients on it (which you can tell it was frozen overnight and simply thawed and placed on an overly burnt piece of bread) the salad was gross and old (didnt even have salad dressing either), the chicken on it was overly seasoned and was pink (yum, salmonella!) , the fruit was gross, old and mushy. I was given a nasty dirty plate that clearly was dirty... My fork was dirty and it was just overall a nasty place to dine. Save yourself some time and go somewhere else. To put things in perspective, I was with 3 other girls and all of them hated their meals as well. read more

I have been going to Jason's Deli since I was a little kid. I'd usually get a tuna melt, which never failed to disappoint, but had always looked forward to their free soft serve ice cream when I was done. The more I've eaten there and try their soups, loaded salad bar and special sandwiches I'd get more anticipated because they simply fail to disappoint. Back to the salad bar; it has everything you could ever want in a salad bar, with a fresh ingredients as a great plus. The setting is just great, half of the restaurant is booths and the other half is fairly comfortable, sturdy chairs. There's almost always someone going around cleaning booths, restocking the salad bar or cleaning something else, which is great to see them keep the restaurant in good shape. Although the service can be a bit slow at times, the atmosphere is relaxed enough for you not to feel tense or stressed. All in all, Jason's can be a great place to go for a family meal, lunch with friends, or just enjoying a delicious sandwich in a relaxed, clean environment. read more

Would recommend if you have little money, just walk in the back door and help yourself to the drinks, and salad bar! I've saved over 1200 dollars with technique! Those silly bastards never see it comning either. While your there why not enjoy some of their complementary ice cream:) would be a five star if I didn't walk into the bathroom to see a couple getting it on in the stall:( read more

Disappointing experience for lunch on 07/07/2018. We have visited this location 2-3 times/month over the last 7 years or so with mostly positive visits. Today we visited at 11:15, prior to the lunch hour traffic. Ordered my daughter a grilled cheese with fruit. Fruit was absolutely pitiful. There were two pieces of cantaloupe and two strawberries well on their way to fermentation. I truly believe they must have picked mold off, washed them, and threw them on the plate. When the plate was delivered we pointed this out and asked for a bag of chips instead. They must take the cost of out of the runner's paychecks, as she was extremely put out by the request. She returned a minute later and let us know we would need to cycle back through the line and purchase chips or any other items we wanted. Unfortunately a 50 cent back of chips cost this location and future business from me or my family. read more

I have been going to Jason's Deli in Midland for years, it used to be great, but it's taken a nose dive into mediocre corporate restaurant hell. Years ago, I ordered delivery almost every day, now I don't even bother. Their delivery fee is $8.00, none of which goes to the driver, so you still have to tip on top of that. The last time I ordered from them, it took three hours for my food to arrive. My order is always wrong, and I mean ALWAYS: No fruit for my fruit dip, no soup with my sandwich, no napkins, no plastic ware, and don't even dream of getting salsa with your to go meal, it won't be there. The food is usually good, rarely do I get anything bad, but the service is just awful. When you walk in, you'll see several employees, old and young, standing around texting on their phones and just looking at you while they wait for the one person assigned to the register to help you. No "Hello", no "Have you been helped?" and the managers are just as bad. I just never understand how they have so many employees and none of them are trained to help customers. I'm still hoping that with Midland growing so fast, a competitor will come that has better service so I don't have to mess with the hassle of Jason's Deli anytime I want a healthy lunch. If you do go, just get the salad bar, you can't screw that up. read more
