How can this place get away with the pricing strategy that obviously is a way to rip off the consumer with deceptive and false reference pricing? We ordered takeout last night. I looked at a menu online. No prices on the online menu since I am not registered. The potatoes and sandwiches are referred to as "original" and "lighter". The calorie count is stated, and the "lighter" appears to be a little over 50 percent of the "original". I assumed that the "lighter" version would be priced less than the "original", as any normal/hungry person would assume. I ordered a "lighter" plain Jane potato and a "lighter" chicken Caesar salad. I ASSUMED these were portions a little over half the size of the "original", according to the calorie count stated on the online menu. We also ordered a regular plain Jane potato and a gallon of sweet tea. (Don't make fun of the sweet tea... It's hot in Texas!) I ate the food. It was decent. The tiny baby container of Cesar salad dressing was nowhere near enough, BUT you can purchase extra salad dressing! When I saw the receipt, I was shocked. $42.17! FORTY TWO DOLLARS AND SEVENTEEN CENTS for one "original" baked potato, one "lighter" baked potato, one "lighter" chicken Cesar salad" and a gallon of sweet tea. (please don't make fun of the sweet tea!) I went on the website and the "original" plain jane potato has 1580 calories/$11.19 and the "lighter" version has 920 calories/$10.09. The "original" chicken Cesar salad has 1050 calories/$11.99 and the "lighter" chicken Cesar salad has 510 calories/10.49, (for reference). I may be off on the calorie counts because the pricing/calorie counts are so incredibly confusing and not consistent on the menus that I found. The calorie counts for the "lighter" versions of menu items tend to hover around 57% -58% of the "original" size item. The price of the "lighter" version of the same item is about 87% to 90% of the "original" item. WHAT? I finally got into the online menu prices and the differences in "original" and lighter" calorically seem to be hovering around 48% and the prices are only discounted about 10%. The worst offender on the menu seems to be Amy's turkey sandwich. The "regular" price is $9.29, the half Amy's turkey sandwich is $8.29, AND, wait for it... the MANAGER'S Special Amy's half turkey sandwich and side is $11.49. So, if you get chips for a side, your half Amy's turkey sandwich is more than a WHOLE Amy's turkey sandwich and a side. I used chips as the side for this reference. I seriously can not believe that this company is getting away with this. Shame on you. Pricing should be transparent. As Brad Hamilton would say about the fast food world, "Learn it, Know it, Live it!"

Once again, the food here was absolutely fantastic. The service was excellent and the employees are always so great. It's always a nice quote spot to go and enjoy an awesome time and meal with the family. The salad bar we always get, but I forgot to get a picture of it. It's always fresh and so tasty, even my kids live the salad bar. Also, the tea's they have are always so yummy. We don't go anywhere else when it comes to freshness and quality sandwiches and salad. Next time, I'm gonna try their dessert. Unless you're an ice cream fan, you can't go wrong with the self-serve ice cream. Even the table busser was kind and even showed he cared about not taking empty plates over our baby in her stroller, but off to the side. Thank you for always giving us a great experience when we go here.

    Cockroach

Food was good, however, there was a cockroach crawling on the wall at our table. I also noticed a foul smell coming from the soda fountain.

I love ordering from here!!! I always order curbside and I love when Andrea brings out our food!!! She is so so nice and always happy!!! That in itself makes you want to order from Jason's Deli and do curbside. Everything I have ordered from here has been great!!!

Nothing beats a sandwich and soup or salad and soup from Jason's deli. If you are in the mood for some quality family time and a meal you can feel good about. Pay them a visit and fill your tummy with some good ole comfort food and top your delicious meal off with some free ice cream.

Marginal at best. Service is VERY slow ANY time of day. Hot food comes luke warm and cold food is warm. The local delis are MUCH better.

Just ate my last 'Speciality Sandwich" from Jason's. The Amy Turkey O was pathetic.

I'd usually get a tuna melt, which never failed to disappoint, but had always looked forward to their free soft serve ice cream when I was done.

The state of the place: dirty dishes on almost all table, dirty plates outside ON THE GROUND to feed stray cats (barf). The macaroni comes out of a Cisco style bag, I watched her take the plastic bag out of the heater, cut it open and put it in a pan... is their food off a food truck instead of "fresh made organic" in house stuff? The friendliness of the staff: the lady working the register was rude and could use a job in the back so she doesn't have to deal with customers. The black lady serving the food was nice. Do I feel any of these ladies used hygienic practices behind kitchen doors, no. Thankfully they wear gloves working the line. The food: the food was disgusting. I'm not going to lie. The soup was gross, can't describe the flavor (broccoli cheese). The tea (plain, unsweet) tasted like it was filtered through a cardboard box. The king casserole lacks seasoning. The macaroni and potatoes were completely cold and also taste of cardboard. The only things that were good were the carrot cake and the bottled Texas tea. Who knows if the carrot cake was made here or not. The seating: you can sit jammed into a small hallway area behind the food line, there are a few four tops and multiple two tops - good luck. We went to sit outside, with the option of two tables on a slope (one up by dirty dished cat food, mentioned above) and three off the slope with missing chairs or the second cat slop dish. A worker had one of the shaded tables taken so we took the cat slop table. All in all, would I take my grandmother here? Absolutely never. This is a slop shop and I'm disgusted. Should be shut down honestly. The grocery store could use the space and it would be an improvement.. even if it was dead space, it would be improved.

I probably did not order the best dish to judge them on but the beef spaghetti was one notch above…read moreinedible. I would recommend soup or salad from a place like this.
