I am very stingy with five stars, most places won't stand up. Jason's Deli here in Texarkana is an exception. From vegetarian offerings to meaty sandwiches, it's all good here. For this trip, I went with a cup of organic vegetable soup and salad bar. First off, this soup is better than any soups I've eaten out. Only my very own is just as good! The soup has a smoked flavor that I doubt I could duplicate. Secondly, the salad bar is way better than any other salad bars! You can choose between iceberg, spring mix, or my favorite...spinach. I followed up with a trip to the soft serve ice cream, vanilla is my favorite there. Whoever thought of this concept was brilliant. Well played Jason's Deli. See you next time in town. read more

This was a very nice Jason's Deli. We stopped in late en route to Ohio and the salad bar was still fresh as well as the coffee I got for the road...these folks know what matters most! We decided to try this place since we have not been to one in such a long time and we're highly disappointed. The smell outside was horrific for one but we still decided to give it a try. We walked in and ordered, while looking for a table we noticed the place was so disgusting and very unclean. There were only two tables with people sitting down Nd only TWO tables in the entire restaurant were half way clean. We were constantly stepping on food and trash. We waited on our food as we sat down t the only decent table while a staff member just walked up to us, stated our name Nd gave us our food all in bags (because clearly we said as they asked that were SITTING DOWN EATING) . We were over it but still decided to just hurry up and eat, during that time watched numerous people (some just walked out) stating how the smell was and how unclean and nasty it was. Food however, was okay.... if we ever decide again to stop by we will get it to go. Would NOT recommend. read more

They were so sweet here. We were in town for a softball tournament and they told us Good luck and have fun. The food was great as usual for most Jason's. I don't really see the big hoopla about this place. The set up was weird but casual and relaxed. Which I would say was a nice change but this town is basically that... haha. The service was extremely nice. I got a ranchero wrap because everything else on the menu seemed bleh, the jalapenos werent necessary and either way I picked it up everything fell out. My dad got the chicken panini which was ok, hes had better. Over all, it was nice to sit down, have friendly faces and eat decent food with out getting a stomach ache. We are in this place near Sam's Club where there are lots of options of places to eat at. We chose to eat light and healthy that evening and we're so glad we did. Jason's Deli is an awesome place for tasty sandwiches and real fresh and wide selections for Salad Bar. My husband went gaga on California Sub while I fell in love with Quinoa Shrimp-Mango Salad. I can eat in this place all the time. A must-visit place to eat for healthy eaters :) Another big plus are their really genuinely friendly and helpful staffs. This was a first visit for me with this location. I didn't have to wait very long to place my order: salad bar and soup. The salad bar was full and clean. My soup was piping hot and very good. The staff seemed a little edgy as if they were afraid to speak unless spoken to. Very weird, but the manager was intense so that may have had something to do with the service level. My experience was nothing short of absolutely perfect. I ordered the seasonal pot roast dip, and it actually tasted like pot roast. Not meat flavored like pot roast, but actual pot roast. The serving time was fast and the staff was courteous. The prices were very reasonable, and the food was exquisite. I found the decor in the building very pleasing.
